For the nail polish, separation doesn’t mean it’s bad! I have nail polishes that I bought less than a year ago that separate. That’s why the bottles have the little ball, so you can shake it back up!
hey, makeup artist here. Most makeup if it's sealed and has not been exposed to air will still be good for a few years. That's why instead of a date they have a stamp saying 24m or 12m and that stands for good for 24 months after opening or 12 months after opening. There is some exception depending on how natural the product is.
Women's shelters are always great options to donate unopened/unused makeup and beauty products to! I know they often appreciate it for getting ready for things like job interviews
Yes, in the US there's an organization called Dress for Success that helps these women to prepare for job interviews. They can use all of that. My sister was a career woman so when she passed away (quite young), we donated all her suits to them.
I feel like that would be really hard to do, she’d probably realize that all of her stuff is missing and then connect the dots really quick when she sees it all in the box
This is genius. You would almost have to send both parents on a weekend getaway then before she got home she would need to go to Mia’s house to film the video
I work at a beauty supply store and 95% of this is absolutely overstock IMO. Not all stores do it but we usually damage out the USED items and it goes to a different facility. Overstock gets shipped out to third party sellers like this.
As someone that works at a drug store chain similar to Walgreens, IMO this is probably from a planogram reset. If it was overstock of things that just didn’t sell at a drug store, I would expect it to be a better variety of makeup. When checking our makeup for expired product, it’s typically one of this and one of that because you’re not going to get all of your L’Oréal tru match for instance on the same delivery, which leads to everything even in the same line of products having different expirations. If this is true, it’s also not shocking that some of the makeup is expired. Being a drug store, no one is really specialized in the category of makeup and so even employees who have honestly good intentions can get products messed up and miss a lot when checking dates or not understand what has to be rotated and what doesn’t. We typically find a decent amount of expired makeup when we do our resets too. This is just speculation from someone that works in the drug store industry. You might be right as well… who knows 🤷♀️
Women's shelters usually love getting makeup donations. These women often don't have access and like to have it for interviews or even just daily pick-me-ups so my vote is for it to all go there. The expiration date is for after opening and the shelter will decide what is okay to donate and what isn't if you aren't sure.

The BR is called Black Radiance. It was one of the first brands made with darker skin tones in mind. I used that powder when I first started wearing makeup in the early 2000s.
Whenever Mia talks about all her allergies and sensitivities (like today's ear infection), I get impressed she doesn't live in a bubble and still lives life to the fullest. 😅
I also don’t get rid of makeup unless it looks expired 🤣 I still have my first eyeshadow palette I bought from Too Faced in 2015. Still works like a charm!
I am the same. If it smells “off” it goes out. I was horrified by what I threw out when I moved. I was addicted to Temu for a while and tried a bunch of their makeup. I was super impressed with all the eyeshadows but nothing else, but loved all the fake nails.
Late to the party, but I have a gold lipstick from 2001. There's so little left that I would have to use a brush to apply it. I stopped wearing makeup regularly years ago but I can't bring myself to throw it out.
I have an eye shadow palette that is 35 years old, but I haven't used it in probably 30 years. It was my first palette so I'm too attached to throw it away. How crazy am I to keep that but I am really into make-up.
@@janejones7638 eye shadow (not the liquid or cream versions, of course) doesn't actually expire per se. It's gonna work just fine, even if it's like 15 yo. It usually does lose its quality and brightness over time, but not a whole lot. So as crazy as it may sound, you should be good to go, if you ever want to use it😅
Hey Mia I work in a beauty department in Canada. It looks like a lot of the products are products that have been discontinued from stores (a lot of the lashes, foundations and nail polish) or that have had packaging changes (like the L’Oréal true match). Looks like there’s a lot of random returns as well. Im glad these products are getting a second life!
I came to say this, the ardell lashes she got they discontinued them and i've been looking all over for them. They were the best ones too in my opinion.
That Sally’s airbrush legs is the BEST!!! It’s perfect for people who typically spray tan, when you didn’t have time go to the salon, it’s instant color that comes off in the shower! It’s like a “lotion” but like a foundation in that it totally evens your skin! In a pinch I have also used it as face-foundation when I forgot it on a trip! I’m sure you’re not supposed to but hey, you gotta do what you gotta do! But it definitely shouldn’t sound like water lol- that one’s GOTTA be expired! If you try it out be sure to wash your hands after 😊
Omg, I tried it out before I went to my son's wedding, HUGE MISTAKE!! It's orangey, messy, and came off on everything. It ruined my towels. I didn't end up wearing it to the wedding of course and it went right in the trash! I found the best product to look tan is Tan Towels. They're awesome. They don't make u look orange, goes on easy without any mess, doesn't rub off on anything but the best part is it's very natural looking! You should try them out, I think you'll find that they're way better than Sally Hansen's.
Re: the leg makeup, I was a professional bellydancer for 7 years and part of a competitive troupe. Since many of our leg slits (often double leg slits) went up to the high heavens, our director got us to wear leg makeup. It was always super weird to look down and have your legs look like you're wearing pantyhose and be super smooth - freaked me out a bit honestly LOL.
I started wearing it when competing with color guard and I LOVED the way it made my legs look! Like a mix between the way panty hose make your legs look and an amazing tan without the fake mess. They were comfortable for me, didn’t run or make my legs feel hot. Honestly the only down side was that it was kind of messy to apply, it got all over stuff if you weren’t careful but once it was on it was ON and it had to be basically showered and scrubbed off. It’s a great product in my opinion
Do u know if the airbrush legs actually worked bc my mom is super insecure about the veins on her legs for some reason and I wanna get her that to help her feel more confident
That nail product-Nailtique?- are usually nail treatments, not colored polish & can be pricey. Re: leg 'makeup' ...obviously Mia isn't a dancer or beauty contestant or a swimwear model. Spray tans are fine but lots of those coverup/makeup products hides viens, bruises, scars or discoloration and really can make your skin flawless
It definitely can depending on the ingredients. No makeup should be used after a year. I am sorry but no. Even if it's sealed. That doesn't rly apply to it, it's about if the ingredients decay even if it's sealed
@@Atlasintokyohave to disagree on nail polish. I have polish I bought in the 80's and it still works fine. I have over 500 bottles collected over the years and a quick shake and they work fine. So with polish as long as it's stored in a cool dry place it is fine IMO.
@@Atlasintokyomeh - I only care about expiration on clean beauty (theyre usually very low on preservatives) and sunscreen. Outside of that if it smells and looks fine it’s free game.
I love that both my 7 year old daughter and I (37) love watching your videos! And if I’m being honest I pretty sure your mom has helped me heal from emotional traumas that my own mother instilled in me as a kid. Having her loving, bubbly caring energy around is something I used to be bitter about but now I’m excited to see her 💕 both of you are helping me to trust people again! Thank you 🙏 again and again!
"The shelf life of an unopened polish can last up to 5-8 years, and after opening the polishes last up to two years," Ling Lin says. Forgetting to screw on the top tightly or exposing your bottles to veritable temperatures can also speed up the expiration process.
I used to work at Walgreens for 10 years. It looks like a box of what were called "call ins". We would scan the products that went on clearance, but did not sell for credit back to the store to make room on the cosmetic wall for new items coming in for the year. We would put them in totes and send back to the warehouse and from there we were always told they would be sold to like Tj Maxx or a discount place like that.
The Maybelline Radiant is my absolute favorite. Most of this looked like overstock or items that didn't sell before a new stock or setup came through. I worked at Rite Aid and they returned makeup like this ALL THE TIME! The makeup would be perfectly fine. We actually had very little returned by customers.
I worked at Target and it was the same kind of situation. It was really nice working in the beauty department bc they’d give us overstock items for free to try it out, that way we could recommend to customers if we liked it. 😊

I agree on the expiration dates! I use makeup until it's bad, not until it 'expires', to me, it's too expensive to throw away while it's still fine, especially eyeshadow.
“Returned” does not necessarily mean that they were returned by customers a lot of stores return products to their distribution centers or to wherever they go because they’re making room for new products and they’re not gonna sell those anymore so my bet is that most of these never actually passed through customer hands. I used to work for Walgreens so I know for a fact we would do boxes and boxes of returns straight from the shelf to make room for new things.
I won a Milani box of $800 in 2013, and then another one of $400 the same year, I still have part of that makeup unopened. I haven't bought blushes, bronzers and nail polishes for years!
@@kaymo225 so let’s all think for a moment. The hazard of experience products is bacteria. If the product isn’t open can it become contaminated. No. Just like food has a sell by date (out of store), best by date (best results), and an entirely different date that’s variable for eating makeup doesn’t just expire especially if it don’t open.
@@kaymo225 Cosmetics expire after opening, not before. Which is why the expiration date isn't a date but instead a "6m, 12m, or 24m" meaning 6, 12, or 24 months after opening.
I've worked with food, I've also done a beauty therapy course. An expiry date is to protect the manufacturer not the consumer, if u eat something past that date & u get sick, u cannot sue them. That's the main reason they are there. Lots of people waste SO much food these days because of expiry dates, if its looks ok & smells ok, it should be fine, raw meat & fish u can tell when it's off cause of the smell. Too many starving people in the world & we all waste so much 😪
Um...yeah, just no for most fresh food.....while its true expired food is usually ok if its packaged, foods like chicken and milk, by the time their smell and/or texture have changed are WELL past the point where they can make you sick. NEVER ignore the use by date on meat or dairy.
@@heatherrowles9930 Yeah, I have to agree. Those are the most dangerous when they go bad, so any meat and dairy should be treated with precaution. Others may loose the enjoyment factor when they go past their expiration dates, but these can actually cause life threatening situations. So while we could eat dry pasta past their expiration date for example, we should not do that with meat and dairy. I don't even buy meat products if it's less than 2 days close to expiration, just in case. Maybe that is unnecessary precaution, but at least I feel safe.
LOL I have eaten cultured dairy products (greek yoghurt, sour cream etc) *months* after their best before date. If I have a slight doubt I use it cooked, like in baking. There is currently a forgotten product dated 25.11.2021 waiting for baking in my fridge😅😂 If it's pasteurised milk products it's pretty safe to trust your senses, raw milk is a bit more dangerous. We do have especially low bacterial count in raw milk in my country... by law less than 100 000 CFU/ml, in truth around 6 000 CFU/ml. Meat also depends on the standards of the industry just like milk... if for example _salmonella_ is a known danger in your country, it's a good idea to trust the expiracy dates on meat.
I know Mia sometimes starts a video talking right away, but when she starts with "Everyone" with her hands spread it gives me so much happiness because it reminds me of all the years we've been watching her and she still does it! 😭♥️ Here from 2018, and can't wait to see what else she achieve!
I used to carry airbrush legs in my kit when I worked in pageants because a lot of girls would have patchy fake tan and that product evened it out nicely. If you buff it in with a large soft body brush, it can look really lovely. But they did reformulate it about 10 years ago so it's not as orange as a lot of people remember. Edit: also I think most of these were overstock and not returns. Most returns get thrown away even if they don't appear to be opened. You should do a video trying some of the products (that don't appear to be opened!)
Majority of the time the expiration is for after opening, so as long as the seal is still there it’s should be fine. But separation doesn’t necessarily mean it’s gone bad. It usually happens with foundation and nail polish because the oils and stuff naturally don’t stay together. But once you open those things it’s safe to follow the date
Separated nail polish is totally fine. I have over 200 polishes in a collection and sometimes they separate within a month of owning them - its honestly can just be the way that particular color formula sits over time.
Ahhhh the leg makeup is THE BEST!! I've got bruisey, scarred legs, and absolutely swear by that stuff for fancy outings when I don't want to wear tights!!
I worked at Target (in the beauty department) and this is how we’d receive our trucks!! Just a million different brands/products smashed into one box 😂 It’s also really funny seeing all of the stuff you received is stuff we ALWAYS had in overstock 😂
Love this kind of videos!! Can’t wait for the full face. _Sidenote_ I use my makeup until it’s finished, usually way past the expiration date… so 🤣 no judgment, girl! Also, in my opinion, regular nail polish never expires, it just starts to dry out after a while, just add nail polish thinner (dunno if it’s the right name, but it’s something similar to acetone sold for this purpose) and it’s good as new.
Can confirm a good chunk of the stuff in these boxes went “salvage” essentially meaning a store isn’t selling it or it’s discontinued by the brand. With the stuff that’s opened and used it gets put into a different bin because you can’t sell/donate a used returned product. And when store reset their isles stuff typically goes clearance then salvage after a couple weeks to months
Would love to see you do a 'Recreating my old makeup look' using some of the products you recognised from when you first started doing makeup! Could do fashion too for extra nostalgia :)
Giiiirl the airbrush legs thing is actually amazing for summer!! I use self tanner but if it’s faded and going out wearing a skirt or dress is makes your legs look nice tan and hides any imperfections 🤩 wish I watched this sooner I would’ve taken them all🥹🤣
Hey Mia! Sometimes “returns” aren’t really customer returns. My husband worked for a shipping company and often if even 1 item in a full skid is damaged, the receiver will deny the load and “return” it to the supplier. Some suppliers would then sell the damaged loads to a wholesale liquidator.
I can confirm, stores sometimes refuse pallets of goods that were damaged during transport (if it's just a few products, they keep it and only return the damaged products, if it's large quantities, they refuse the entire pallet). At my job, we can buy these returned products at very very low prices, then the company donates the entire amount to charity (we also use them in the office, we sell hygiene/cleaning products).
I have so much old stuff! I do get rid of old mascara and anything that smalls off but some stuff still seems pretty fresh even years over the exp. date.
The whole day I was like "I really could use a Mia video right now", thank you Mia :3 (It's 7pm here) Btw, I don't check the expiration dates of my make up either. When the texture is getting weird, that's usually the moment I decide to throw something away.
same!! if it smells weird or the texture is strange it’s time to throw it out, however if it’s “expired” but still works great then why would i waste it 😭
The nail polish definitely isn't bad yet.. also, if your nail polish starts to get really clumpy and no longer smooth, all you need to do is add a drop or two of acetone (or nail polish remover) and viola! Thank you for this video Mia, hope your time with your family was memorable!! 💖 😊
Don't feel bad, Mia.. I have makeup that's super old too. They still get the job done, I'm the only one wearing it, I've never had a bad reaction to them and I hardly wear makeup anyway, so I really don't see the point in throwing it out.
I love that her intro is “hey everyone so today we are doing a very exciting video” 😂😂 it just shows she’s as excited for these videos as us 💕 we love you babeeeee💕
Sally Hanson airbrush legs is amazing!! Looks like something from the 80's but you need to try it. You get it as a spray too & it's the only thing I use on my legs to cover my scar & it's flawless 🦵
That airbrush legs product is actually great lol. But it’s like something you’d use once a year for a formal event or something. You should try it you’d like it! Mix it in with some moisturizer otherwise it looks too fake like Barbie legs.
If you ever wanna know how much a package weighs, look at the label! Here in the states alot of our labels state the shipping weight on the shipping label 🥰
Mia! Make Up doesn't have a specific expiration date. 😁 On the little open jar symbol is mostly written "3M, 6M or 12M" which means it's good for use for 3, 6 or 12 months after you opened it first or removed the seal.
I used to work for a company that did the rests for when brands changes their marketing. This box looks exactly like our discontinued or remove from display boxes would look like. It's the right time of year for refresh too!
Hey Mia! I was on a college dance team, and we all carried the Airbrush Legs with us for performances and games. We would used it spray tan touch ups and it actually works very well!! and you could even use it for a quick all over full body tan when you didn’t quite have time to get a spray love your videos💖
I work for Walgreens and these products came from our cosmetics wall reset. Also, the Loreal foundations were from a display shipper and non-basic to our store. Basically, these products were taken out of the planogram and will no longer be carried at Walgreens. We sent them out as a call-in and were shipped out of the store. Usually make-up containing sunscreen have expiration dates, most have lot numbers. If the bottle or package has a picture of a circle with an arrow inside look to the right of it. It will say 12 or 24 months, this means the make-up is good for that amount of time after it is opened . I hope this helps to explain that these are not customer returns but discontinued items.
That Rimmel product you sectioned with concealers is actually a liquid eyeshadow!! I have that product in a different shade but it’s actually a pretty good liquid eyeshadow not concealer!
Nice haul Mia, I would be interested to see how the air-brushed leg stuff works and if it's legit a good product especially for fairer-skinned people with bright blue veins lol. As for donation stuff, I probably wouldn't use anything that isn't in original packaging or anything that is open especially if it's items you use on your face, eyes, and lips.
The green cover girl mascara is my all time favorite, I literally have three in my possession at the moment 😂 mascara is all I ever wear though so I just keep one in my car, one in my bag, and one at home
FYI expiration dates on foundation typically relate to the sunscreen. You can typically use them past the expiration date and they will perform okay but the sunscreen will lose efficacy. At least, that’s what they told me when I worked at Sephora
Please try any of the products that are in your shade!! I’m so excited to see how different foundations/powders/blushes will look on you. You are so talented at makeup! Loved every second of this video, please do more makeup unboxing 😍😍

Thanks for bringing us such entertaining and wholesome content. Perfect way to relax after a long day at work 💚💜
Impress Nails are fabulous! I use them all the time. Prep is everything!! Use more than one alcohol pad to prep the nails and use nail glue under the adhesive already on the nail and it will stay for 1 to 2 weeks! 😁
I love the idea of buying used products, and especially makeup! I have bought so many exspensive products that did not fit my skin tone at all, and I can’t return it to get my money back either:’)
Leg makeup is great for dancers and stage performers! I use it when I have bruises or something I need to cover for a performance, or to even out a tan.
I completely understand your sensitive ears, Mia! My situation is the same. If I go for a walk on a windy day (or even just slightly breezy outside), I either have to wear ear muffs or place cotton balls in my ears. Otherwise, my ears hurt and even get infected. I know I look crazy wearing ear muffs in the summer, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do!

Oh and those Kiss Acrylic glue on nails are the best. I use them in the petite or real short size and they are awesome and so natural looking. By far my favorite.
I high key LOVE leg makeup. I’m super pale and don’t tan very easily, and I’m horrible with fake tanners. It helps give me confidence when wearing dresses or skirts that my legs look smooth and have a more even texture.
This looks like a box of discontinued make up. This is exactly what a return to the warehouse box looks like when we do a new reset in the cosmetic department. Twice a year they discontinue the lines or colors that don't sell well in order to make room for the new stuff.
If the makeup was an actual return(ie: was used) most companies throw it out after processing the return since it's unhygienic to resell the returned product. Most of this stuff looks like overstock/discontinued/seasonal product or products that slightly changed packaging/formula. Makeup is also good for 12-24 m depending on the little stamp on the back, it's only once air has hit it and "contaminated" it that it starts going bad.

Just came to comment this as well! I remembered from my days of Walgreens inventory
@@renr4056 how does that lead you to believe that? she didn’t purchase the shades available, she got a RETURNED products mystery box, there’s more shades they just aren’t there ? wtf
The BR is called Black Radiance. It was one of the first brands made with darker skin tones in mind. I used that powder when I first started wearing makeup in the early 2000s.
This comment needs to be at the top 👍🏻
Was just about to comment this, it’s probably not as common in Canada
I wondered if it’s only sold in certain areas, it’s sold like everywhere even in Targets in Baltimore, where I live
Interesting! I’ve never heard of it but I’m pale asf. Love that they were doing that early ❤️
I was going to say... Black Radiance lol!! I see it in drugstores a lot.
Whenever Mia talks about all her allergies and sensitivities (like today's ear infection), I get impressed she doesn't live in a bubble and still lives life to the fullest. 😅
I'm the same and I wonder sometimes too. 🤔 🤣🤣🤣
I’m the same ngl
I feel her tho cuz me too
I also don’t get rid of makeup unless it looks expired 🤣 I still have my first eyeshadow palette I bought from Too Faced in 2015. Still works like a charm!
OMG I think I have a 20 year old Chanel eye shadow palette. Like I'm ever getting rid of Chanel!
Mia: sensitive and reactive to literally everything
Also Mia: I don't mind putting 12 year old lipstick on my face
I have an eye shadow palette that is 35 years old, but I haven't used it in probably 30 years. It was my first palette so I'm too attached to throw it away. How crazy am I to keep that but I am really into make-up.
@@janejones7638 woah does it look the same as when you bought it I’m curious
@@janejones7638 that is amazing! Maybe put a label on it saying old af don’t use. I would have loved to see my moms old makeup
@@janejones7638 eye shadow (not the liquid or cream versions, of course) doesn't actually expire per se. It's gonna work just fine, even if it's like 15 yo. It usually does lose its quality and brightness over time, but not a whole lot. So as crazy as it may sound, you should be good to go, if you ever want to use it😅
I throw away my old make up when ever I get new so I don’t have to worry about !! I wear makeup sometimes but I am not a everyday makeup women !!
@@MichellePinsky We still have them at my US store!
My one coworker uses it on her face as well so she doesn’t have to use self tanner
Ive used it many times and its great! @brittanyault9084
I'm pretty sure the expiration dates only apply to opened products. If something is sealed I don't think it can go bad in a span of a couple of years
It definitely can depending on the ingredients. No makeup should be used after a year. I am sorry but no. Even if it's sealed. That doesn't rly apply to it, it's about if the ingredients decay even if it's sealed
Like have you seen unopened nail polish after a year? The ingredients are all messed up and work less idk man.
@@Atlasintokyohave to disagree on nail polish. I have polish I bought in the 80's and it still works fine. I have over 500 bottles collected over the years and a quick shake and they work fine. So with polish as long as it's stored in a cool dry place it is fine IMO.
@@Atlasintokyoyou can also use a tiny bit of acetone or thinner to revive dried nail polish.
That's so helpful.
Adding a drop or two of pure acetone (nail polish remover) can extend the shelf life and bring chunky dried nail polish back to life!
I NEED a podcast from you and your mom. It can be called “Mamma and Mia”
BRILLIANT
Omg yes!
Or just "MAMMA-MIA 🤌"
I used to work at Walgreens for 10 years. It looks like a box of what were called "call ins". We would scan the products that went on clearance, but did not sell for credit back to the store to make room on the cosmetic wall for new items coming in for the year. We would put them in totes and send back to the warehouse and from there we were always told they would be sold to like Tj Maxx or a discount place like that.
Walgreens gang! ❤
Were those products used?
The Maybelline Radiant is my absolute favorite. Most of this looked like overstock or items that didn't sell before a new stock or setup came through. I worked at Rite Aid and they returned makeup like this ALL THE TIME! The makeup would be perfectly fine. We actually had very little returned by customers.
I worked at Target and it was the same kind of situation. It was really nice working in the beauty department bc they’d give us overstock items for free to try it out, that way we could recommend to customers if we liked it. 😊
I’ve been watching this girl for so long and she’s definitely came a long way, keep going, keep showing your personality, keep being yourself . 🦋

That’s black radiance one of the first make up brands that was targeted for black girls. For a while it was the only inclusive brand other than covergirl. It’s like the Black girl version of elf and wet and wild ❤️ love those products too
I agree on the expiration dates! I use makeup until it's bad, not until it 'expires', to me, it's too expensive to throw away while it's still fine, especially eyeshadow.
You should try making clay earrings (: I’d love to see you make little fruit ones or cute little animals or something!
I agree! Or any clay jewelry. That would be fun to watch
you really manifested the Pinterest earrings video huh
“Returned” does not necessarily mean that they were returned by customers a lot of stores return products to their distribution centers or to wherever they go because they’re making room for new products and they’re not gonna sell those anymore so my bet is that most of these never actually passed through customer hands. I used to work for Walgreens so I know for a fact we would do boxes and boxes of returns straight from the shelf to make room for new things.
I won a Milani box of $800 in 2013, and then another one of $400 the same year, I still have part of that makeup unopened. I haven't bought blushes, bronzers and nail polishes for years!
You realize makeup expires right? You're using 8 year old makeup. That's disgusting.
@kaymo225 Judge yourself and mind YOUR business
@@kaymo225 so let’s all think for a moment. The hazard of experience products is bacteria. If the product isn’t open can it become contaminated. No. Just like food has a sell by date (out of store), best by date (best results), and an entirely different date that’s variable for eating makeup doesn’t just expire especially if it don’t open.
@@kaymo225 someone’s mad they didn’t win the giveaway and save themselves hundreds of dollars….
There is currently a forgotten product dated 25.11.2021 waiting for baking in my fridge😅😂
If it's pasteurised milk products it's pretty safe to trust your senses, raw milk is a bit more dangerous.
We need a podcast with you and Mama Maples! You can call it “Oh Mama-Mia”!

Just a million different brands/products smashed into one box 😂
It’s also really funny seeing all of the stuff you received is stuff we ALWAYS had in overstock 😂
Omg hiiii I work beauty in Target ! Also yeah this gave me anxiety bc I think I have to push it all out in time lmaooo
Love this kind of videos!! Can’t wait for the full face.
_Sidenote_
I use my makeup until it’s finished, usually way past the expiration date… so 🤣 no judgment, girl! Also, in my opinion, regular nail polish never expires, it just starts to dry out after a while, just add nail polish thinner (dunno if it’s the right name, but it’s something similar to acetone sold for this purpose) and it’s good as new.
I've done this with polish, chanel polish goes thick really quickly, but if u add too much it does go weird 😅
@@vanessamartin5522 I like to go a few drops at a time, shake it and decide if it needs more.
Don't add acetone lol it will dissolve it but polish thinner is a different product so you'll need that specifically but yes it usually does the job!
You work at target huh
Too bad no one told my Walmart this when I used to work Dairy by myself and would receive a palette of busted eggs to sift through 😭😭😂
“It’s awful and I’m not going to reward myself for bad behavior” 😂😂😂😂😂 babeee you’re so funny with out trying 😂

We would used it spray tan touch ups and it actually works very well!! and you could even use it for a quick all over full body tan when you didn’t quite have time to get a spray
love your videos💖
I used to use it in highschool hahaha anytime I wore a dress or even spray just where there were holes in my jeans being so pale 😂🥲

Hi Mia! I work at Ulta and a lot of these products are what we call RTVs or Return to Vendor. They are items that are either being discontinued by the brand or that store is no longer carrying them. Especially this covergirl mascaras and those L’Oreal True Match foundations. Just thought that might be a little tid bit of info. Great video as always. Love your channel, you, and your family.
I have bought so many exspensive products that did not fit my skin tone at all, and I can’t return it to get my money back either:’)
i feel like foundation is the most sensible return, because a lot of people(including me) don't know their shades and order the wrong one
i was hoping we’d get a beauty return box soon! mia always risking her skin with these expired products 😂
I know I look crazy wearing ear muffs in the summer, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do!
i actually really like the resale of returns and dead stock so hyper consumerism isn’t as wasteful, those products would’ve been thrown out
Completely agree with your take on makeup expiration. If it still works it never goes bad for me lol

When she said “it’s a really heavy box”
I was expecting a huge box 📦 😂😂😂
this would probably feel like Christmas for a women's shelter!
The airbrush legs is an amazing product! I uses it for pageants back in the day it never budged!
The BR brand is Black Radiance. It’s a brand for black women in drug stores because sometimes our colors are hard to find.
I’ve had new nail polishes that separated like those and they just needed a good shape. Even if it were old, what’s the worst that can happen?
