I am actually so confused..im a new viewer in the last month or so but i am losing my mind trying to figure out if she lives with her family, has her own house or if she lives in an apartment. not that its any of my business but its very visually confusing seeing her hop to all these different rooms from seemingly different places and all calling them hers 😂. And the decorating videos only make me more confused. Like her room looks like a college teen's room in their parents house but she's married?????? So she has her own place but her family is always with her but not her husband???? Its driving me crazy i feel like im missing something and i need someone to explain 💀
@@ria_x_rose Mia said she owns that house and she's slowly doing up each room. I think she mentioned her mum and dad (maybe brother too) are staying with her and her new husband Stewart while they wait for their home to be finished or something. Hope this helps cause it would bug me too! 😅x

✨💖✨I can see guest rooms decorated just for her grandchildren. Blue skies with fluffy clouds, magic castles, happy, smiling flowers; or deep, dark blue skies with the constellations dotted in glow-in-the-dark paint, the solar system suspended from the ceiling with rocket ships suspended, flying saucers…. She will be the kind of grandmother I always wanted the chance to be. In the meantime, yes, let the girl get married. But I can’t wait to see the baby’s nursery.

Keeping the original fireplace was absolutely the best choice. It makes your house look so much more unique when comparing current trends. I think the original grout was also fine, but I loved the commitment

not going to lie, I was a bit iffy about the cloud ceiling and the green walls but once she painted the fireplace lighter it totally made those things work together. Also, I LOVE all of the furniture in that room and would gladly have all of those pieces in my own home! Basically I'm pleasantly surprised with the outcome and I honestly think Mia is so talented!

This is totally not my style, but holy crap! Mia without a doubt has a talent for pulling her visions together and decorating in perfectly! I LOVE videos like this and can appreciate all the effort she puts into months of work for one video. THIS IS AMAZING!

I cannot BELIEVE how much painting the fireplace grout line changed the look! I didn’t really like the stone before, but I absolutely LOVE it after!
When I heard you talk about how the mirror was from your wedding I got excited. Not that I’m expecting anything related to the wedding day or anything like that because I can totally respect if you want to or are keeping it more private. Yeah I caught that one too, “from” not “for” the wedding and use it afterwards, really makes me think that it already happened. We will probably get a video about it sometime this fall because I feel like she might have some more lead up videos still to post before the actual wedding video.

I really love Mia's taste in color. It's so lively and calming.
Not gonna lie, since the first renovation video started there were many times I was like "mmmm really, that color? that wallpaper?" but in the end you always make it work. Maybe not completely my style but I really like the colors and the whimsicality of it. It's really a trust the process moment, the results are amazing and you can see they scream "Mia"

My best advice is to find an app that lets you make interior design models! Some you can even put in the dimensions of the room and if you have furniture measurements you can see if you like the way it fits before you buy! It’s hard to visualize a end result!

If you want a plant that vines relatively quickly and is super easy to care for, I highly reccomend Pothos. There are several varieties depending on what shades of green you want and they are pretty tolerant to over/under watering.
Painting the grout was a fantastic idea! The fireplace looks so much better…definitely worth the time and effort!

while I wish she had indeed stripped it instead of repainting, it's okay that it has almost no value now as it's a family piece and not for resale, and I can begrudgingly accept that. the whole room came together nicely!

@@bathulhu no, mia said a dresser her grandma got for her wedding, i think the dresser was a gift for her grandma's wedding not mia's, that's why it's an antique, also as long as i remember mia actually got the dresser since renovating her grandma's apartment room long time ago, i've seen that dresser also mia mentioned it in that video
I am so in love with that shade of green. I absolutely love it! Also the pink you picked for the couch is so beautiful. And your grandmas antique furniture is a great added touch.
The mid century modern dress/sideboard is timeless, love the curved doors, just so iconic of that period. Your so lucky to have it. The repros of these pieces can go for over a £1000 here in the UK sometimes even £2000.
Very hard to find in charity furnishings shops now as people know their worth.
I would literally hire Mia to decorate my house. Her vibes are immaculate.

If you can find a Turkish furniture shop they usually have a lot of unique colour schemes for couches! We have a pink one (husbands choice funnily enough 😂)

I love how you tied in the antiques so well. Like I’d associate those colors and furniture with a more minimal, modern style but it looks amazing!! And the stone too, it all ties in so well :D
Next time you layout a gallery / picture wall, draw around all your frames onto cheap lining paper and blue tack them to your wall. You can see it all laid out in full without having to tag in and out holding up frames and bonus if you mark where the hanger is you can hammer in the nails straight through the mark and be correct first time x

It's amazing what a touch of light color to grout can do. It definitely makes the room more softer and attractive. I am totally going to need a Mia to come decorate my entire house because the vibe is 100% the best.
