- Jason Lytle has been the driving force behind Grandaddy for nearly two decades, a solo artist (his most recent release was last year’s "Arthur King Presents Jason Lytle: NYLONANDJUNO"), a producer (Band Of Horses) and a collaborator (with an assortment of cronies such as Danger Mouse and M. Ward). Lytle’s most recent projects include co-writing, playing on and producing Malojian’s Humm (also featuring Gerard Love and Joey Waronker), concert video "Live From The Astroturf" (Dangerbird) and a new single by Admiral Radley (Lytle and members of Earlimart, this time “covering” Malojian), with the possibility of more music to come.

Just recently found grandaddy about a month ago and now I'm obsessed. Lytle seems so down to earth and sweet.

I went and got a degree in music. I really prefer Grandaddy over other modern music. They focus in on painting the perfect backdrops to highlight perfect musical novelties like chromaticism, bends, and color mixing. Love it. Jason, I can’t wait to hear the next project when you are happy that you’ve achieved your self-imposed ELO standard.
