Why is it about money? Lytle is known as one of the indie gods of the late 90’s early 2000’s. He’s completely about the music. When that’s all you care about. When that’s your passion, money becomes obsolete. Plus, let’s be honest, he’s probably pretty damn well off...
First! I got to hang out with Jason on multiple occasions. He's super quiet and has a dry sense of humor. Thanks for uploading this. Cant wait to see the rest of the interview
This kind of interview is usually hard to convey sincerely, unless the artist wants to be off the record about their records...ya know? I get the impression that this was one of Jason's friends interviewing him. It was just a humble chat about that time and feeling.
sumday is made for centurys in my eys. im just a little german but j.s.bach was also a little german from eisenach just around the corner from where i am from. I just wanna say... grandaddy is great music. sorry for this crazy english.
I was actually friends with Jason when he was a kid in California. Cool to see how his life turned out.
He shouldn't be so hard on Sumday. It's the most underrated album in all of indie-land. An absolute masterpiece.
Dude, I totally agree! Its Grandday's best album, hands down.
I listen to Jason's voice to relax =)
i agree i dont think he knows how fucking great he and his music is i wish he would tour the uk again
They will be there this summer!
He does seem like a top bloke. Love his music. Wish he would tour UK.
This summer its happening!
One of my heroes right there :) Saying Sopthware Slump "could have been better" !?!?!?!
This guy is great. It bums me out that he didn't really hit it bigger money-wise.
I don’t think he ever thought about that so much, more money usually means more fame,he seems genuinely happy which is a rare thing

I think people need to hear everything you're saying people might not need to hear. I did - thanks for sharing!
Genius !
check their tour dates, they're touring UK August/September
Seems like a really cool and genuine guy. You don't always get that with artists.
*THE GREAAAAT SOUTHERN TRENDKILL*
