I cannot overstate just how much of a profound impact Sophtware Slump had on me. I still listen to it now. It had such a massive imapct on me as a youth, forever a fan of Grandaddy.
I saw Grandaddy on the Sophtware Slump tour and they finished with AM180, which segued into So You'll Aim Towards The Sky. I don't mind admitting that I cried my eyes out. Utterly beautiful.
So much described in Jed's poem is rooted in Modesto, the hometown I've shared with this artist, Jason can make this dilapidated seedy old agricultural town romantic and almost magical, I've also found myself staring at the floor of the tiki and it's like that.
I’m so happy to hear you playing this so ,,, still… I used to listen to your song when I was in 20 which was 20 years ago,,, BeeeeeaUtiful… I love all of your songs coz they are beyond of time. Thank you for great songs and more💕
Grandaddy have be come one my favorite bands of all time .love them. Bison o n the plain and covers - blindness play everyday love them from Blackpool England lent me mates software slump and someday and they love it
I've listened more often to Grandaddy's masterpieces than to Mozart's Requiem. This is what I think of Jason and Grandaddy's massively underrated talent. They're to Radiohead what the Pixies were to Nirvana.
The version from the movie LAWLESS ain't bad either for those who are really into this track. Of course it will never beat GRANDDADDY's version. But yea, that soundtrack is def worth a listen. I believe Nick Cave is in charge of the soundtrack or score-I forget which one it is. But hopefully that'd be enough for someone to wanna scope it.
Sophtware Slump and OK Computer defined an age
Same as your likes
The sophtware slump will always go down as one of my favourite albums, great days of nostalgia 😥
You are right, sir.
You are correct
Just beautiful. Richard Curtis.
Yes it will. and one of our proudest moments as their radio promotion firm. ..
Imagine if you lived on the other side of that wall and just randomly got acoustic Grandaddy concerts throughout the day.
Criminally underrated artist - so few views in 3 weeks 😞
Yeah, he deserves/deserved better
Yes, but Grandaddy did get a lot of critical praise.

Jason and Grandaddy have been the friend in my headphones for many a lone walk home. Long live the independents!

Grandaddy is one of my all time favorite bands, and Jason Lytle is a beautiful human soul.
Beautiful Ground made me cry again

"I'll pass through your world with ease, like wind blowing through the trees"
I forget how much that one means to me
Purchasing a few cd's from Grandaddy to listen to in my 2001 Mitsubishi Galant while delivering food right out of high school was a gr8 investment.
