I did have a chance to use your suggested settings for the SDR picture mode...and it worked great. Better than any other settings I have been able to come up with. The Clarity - TruMotion setting to User Selection makes a big difference.... Also, your suggested settings for Dolby Cinema are very good and similar to what I have been using for the past 5+ months I have had the TV. As you know the LG G2 defaults to many of the Dolby Cinema settings so not that much to change once you select Cinema in the Dolby format... Thanks again for a great video and helping with the SDR settings...

Bought 7 weeks ago. LG C2 65inch OLED in early Jan 2023. Best tv ever. Perfect for movies & high quality tv series. I come from a television production background so I was looking for perfect reproduction of what the creatives intended and LG C2 does this!!! Works well in a moderately bright room. Coupled with a good surround sound system (5.1 AV receiver) and you don’t get a better experience. I couldn’t be happier.
How’s the picture quality for night scenes in hdr/Dolby vision? I’m a big fan of Game of Thrones content and want to make sure I’m getting the right television.
Just unboxed my 77'' C2 very dark picture out of the box. I am so glad I found this video and I can't wait to see "the best TV of 2022". I wish LG or someone would also make a tutorial on best handling practices for these very fragile panels. I'm terrified of moving it and I'm mounting it on the wall this weekend.
Thanks for the feedback. Glad it helped. Follow LG’s handling/installation advice found in the leaflet. Also make sure you have some help and I’m sure you’ll be fine. There are a few videos out there where people have wall mounted these TVs. Good luck!
Thank you so much! I’ve watched other “recommended settings” videos where the host is flying in and out of menus so rapidly that I can’t follow what they’re changing, and what’s on the screen doesn’t match what they’re saying. Your video is very helpful.

I appreciate your advice. My C2 77" will be here on Monday. I am writing this on Wednesday at 11 PM. I'm very excited to get this tv and I haven't had a new one in several years. I'll try your settings as a start. For me it was between the LG C2 77" and the Samsung S95B. 65". If Samsung had a 77" model or if it was between two 65" tv's I may have chosen the Samsung, The Sony A95K was a little more than I wanted to spend but it is a great tv - maybe the best this year, There are so many great tv's this year it would be hard to make a really bad choice. I can make my room very dark, so I am not really worried about ambient lighting, I wish I could have seen the Hisense U8H in person. If their blacks are good in a dark room I might have been able to save a lot of money. But in the last week or so the prices of the 75 or 77 inch model has gone crazy. I think that one is a great choice if the room is bright much or the time. The LG G2 is also too expensive for an apparently small improvement over the C2, Of course I don't know yet if I made the right choice, but if not I can return it. Thanks!
Sorry guys...I have been trying out a number of different settings from Classy and trying some of my own...and haven't gotten these tested just yet! Based upon some of the other G2 videos and testing some of the options these tips look good to me. But if you're interested in my comments - STAY TUNED...I'll be trying them out within the next few days.
I just purchased a 77" C2 and this is exactly what I needed to get the picture dialed in. It's a great TV and this video was perfect! Thanks so much for taking the time to walk us through the settings - very helpful! Great job - sincerely appreciate the help!
HI. Just set up my LG 42" C2 tv. Was disappointed with SDR quality but since adjusted settings you suggested, quality is much much improved!! HDR content also fabulous. Thanks v much
Thanks for sharing this. I just ordered the 55 C1 for my bedroom and the 65 C2 for my living room. Best Buy out here had an amazing sale and I had to pick them up. They'll be here next weekend can't wait.
Thank you so much for making this video! It's incredibly informative. I wanted to find out if and how to set custom picture modes. You've shown me even more than I thought I needed to know. My old LG TV had a very different customisable picture mode selection menu to what they have now. I'm sure I'll get used to it, when I buy my new T.V. though.
Best picture settings calibration and settings explanation I've seen by far. A little too bright for me. But easily tweaked along with color. I would start with your settings as a rock solid starting point. Then play around with it. Too bad your settings aren't the default...lol
Thank you. Your comments are much appreciated. Yes I now have the brightness lower, around 85 for SDR content. It could go lower too, depending on the environment and lighting levels etc. Thanks again.
Thank you so much. New sub and like here. I just picked up my LGC2 42 inch for my gaming setup and its phenomenal. The settings you have helped me out alot. I too dont worry too much about burn in as for me im a total tech member at best buy and I will forever have a warranty on this tv which is awesome. I also have a c8 and sold my cx 48 because it was just a tad bit to big for my gaming set up. This 42 is the sweet spot for my pc, ps5, series x and switch. everything is hooked up and works very well. I have an addtional lap top and 27 inch 1440p display for all my work and other pc needs o not worried about that. Keep up the great content. Very calm and pleasing and easy to follow esp with the time stamps.
Thank you for this very helpful video. My C2 48" has just arrived today and I'm very pleased with it. Just one thing, under OLED panel care , you said set Adjust logo brightness to 'Low'. Have just watched a video about this from The Tech Giant, who advises this refers to the amount of adjustment for the logo. Off being no adjustment, Low being small adjustment and High being the largest adjustment. Therefore to help prevent burn in it should be set to High. This is obviously confusing and counter intuitive but LG website seems to confirm this and many people in the comments section also confirm High should be the setting. Thought you'd like to know. Apologies for the long comment and thanks again.
Hi and I hope you’re enjoying your new TV. I have a dedicated video on Logo brightness. As it does cause confusion. The best protection is to set it to high but it can dim the entire screen when gaming or watching UA-cam for example. So LG give you other options to turn it off or reduce the aggressive screen dimming (if causing issues). See my video here and thanks for the comment: ua-cam.com/video/o6SbydwpD3U/v-deo.html
New C255 arrives Wednesday, my 1st oled. I appreciate your settings recommendations and while I’ll undoubtedly play around with some a bit I suspect I’ll likely end up with your suggestions. Thanks
I just purchased this TV, and I’m waiting on it, as I’m writing this? I’m not a big gamer, so I’ll be using this TV, just as it is intended. Thanks for the settings info. This is my first OLED, and I’m sure I won’t be disappointed? I hear, quite possibly, this is the TV to beat? Can’t wait until it arrives, and I set it up? 👍Thanks again for your knowledge.
I bought an LG G2 4 weeks ago. I have a Roku Ultra connected via Ethernet cable to my router, HDMI cable from my Roku to my Onkyo receiver, and a HDMI cable from the ARC output on the receiver to the ARC input on my TV. I set the display type in my Roku settings to Automatic (4K Dolby Vision). The Dolby Vision settings in this video helped me dial in my TV for Netflix. I'm still experiencing some blotchy backgrounds and annoying eye twinkle when watching live TV on UA-cam TV through my Roku. Are there any adjustments I can make to resolve these issues or could it be the source material? Thanks for providing this video and any advice you can give me.
Thanks for the feedback. I’d say the source material is most likely the culprit. Particularly UA-cam content which is compressed to death. There are so many streaming sources, all using different technology, it can be a bit hit and miss with quality. I find Netflix, Amazon and Apple TV to be good benchmarks for image quality.
Your voice is too unrealistically soothing my friend, vary nice sounding. For the first couple of seconds I thought it was a computer. Great video 👍🏿👍🏿
On my C2, the sweet spot for color gamut was "Warm 25". If I go warmer than that, the white started to become noticeable yellowish. And I disabled the logo dimming, I don't watch TV and I play videogames for an hour tops, so I never display static content for long periods. The only problem is the frame rate: I use a MiBox, if I set the resolution to 4k 24 hz with Cinematic Movement setting, movies look great indeed, but if I set 4k 60hz (for UA-cam), I can see a terrible soap opera effect in the movies, even with TrueMotion disabled! I wish there was one good setting for everything, I don't want to change settings before watching something. Anyway, great video. 👏👏👏👏
I have a new 77" C2 and have question. When I am watching a Dolby Vision movie on Apple TV library, why can't I see Dolby Vision in my settings? Thank you in advance for help. I really appreciate your videos!
Hi there. Somebody asked a similar question recently and it was their streaming device that was the issue. If you stream Dolby Vision content from the LG Apple TV app, you should see the settings. I’d also test using another LG TV app that supports Dolby Vision such as Netflix or Amazon.
Very easy to follow instructions...will try out the settings when I get my new LG 65 C2 oled up and running next week. Thank you for making this video. Cheers
Hey TRF, let me say this .... thank you, thank you, thank you ☺️ I've just purchased the LG G2 77" and was pulling my hair out regarding settings. I'd tried other UA-camrs settings and they were rubbish. Thank God I saw your channel 🙏 my oled is singing, literally singing. In sdr the only thing I changed but using your settings was that I used Standard instead of Expert etc, but you did suggest that as an alternative too. Having spent a big chunk of money I thought I'd messed up big time. Now I'm so happy. I've set all other settings you suggested for HDR etc and now it's jaw droppingly good. Thank you again....I've subscribed too. Guys, forget all other UA-camr recommendations if you have a C2/G2, this is the channel for your settings and try Standard if you don't like either of the Expert ones. You da man, sir 🤗🤗
You’re very welcome and thank you so much for such a glowing review and feedback. I very much appreciated your comment and thanks also for subscribing.
Bought my Mum a C2. It arrives Wednesday. Will be following this. Question for anyone who knows. I bought a Sonos ray for my Mum as she is slightly deaf. Can you adjust the volume of the Ray with the C2’s remote or the Sky Q remote. Adjusting volume on an app is a bit beyond my Mum
Thanks for such informative information the settings you provide helped a lot when setting up my new LG oled c2 65 haven't tried my xbox series X yet but will try your recommend settings thanks...
Just set these up apart from game mode settings which I used another vid for ,was looking for Netflix and Amazon settings and these look great ,rings of power looks amazing and also now have my bang and Olufsen headphones connected as well so game room is now complete ,thanks for the info as things like this can get swamped
Hi nice video can u please help me how do i know when i Watch hdr or sdr or dolby vision content when i Watch Netflix, Amazon or UA-cam for example i couldnt find a Setting were i can Switch between them
The TV auto detects SDR, HD, and HDR content and uses the appropriate settings (or the settings you have set yourself). So there is no need to manually switch between them, as the TV automatically displays the quality of the source (for Netflix it might be HD or Dolby Vision for example).
So, I have had my tv now for 24hours, it’s amazing, your picture settings really make the picture sing. Disney Plus content like the new Avatar look incredible. My only gripe is that when switching the tv on it defaults to the tuner page and says no signal, I have no way of booting up to the home page, it seems a common complaint on Google. I’m thinking of buying an Apple set too box to connect to HDMI 1 as it always defaults to the last input on switch on. One more question, do you leave your tv on standby 24/7 ?
Thanks for the feedback. I’ve got some other videos that deal with default startup ports. Check them out they might help. I never leave anything on standby when I’m out or go to bed. I do during the day if I’m home.
I got it sorted, all I had to do was press the red button on the remote when it displayed the message about I signal and now it does not display the no signal messages and then switches to the home page.
@@TheReviewFella the 48 inch isn't as high spec as the larger ones. The 55 c2 really is incredible, I always thought samsung tv's were the best in the past but this c2 is incredible. In 4k its just stunning. I bought a qled last year but the colours were awful, with the c2 55, it really is as good as looking out if the window. Also I only paid £900 for it which was a great deal over black friday.
Thank you so much for this very helpful fix it, 42C2 is my new PC daily driver. The menu is tricky, some settings gray out a bunch of other settings without telling you. Gaming 3090 is flawless@120Hz 4K Ultra settings. Buy this on Black Fri guys, no regerts ;-)
Control over hdmi is dramatic. I have two devices connected. when I turn on the tv, they both turn on 😥 on the previous tv, only the one I wanted, e.g. ps5, turned on.

What is the picture quality like when viewing SD channels on the aerial? Not all content down the aerial is HD. Some of the larger TV's do not display standard definition channels well at all. In addition does the satellite connector support a motorized dish and DISEQ 1.2? I would imagine the answer is yes as my older 38 inch samsung TV has this feature. Finally have you tried the voice control on the TV handset without an internet connection. According to the user manual it supports voice recognition without an internet connection, not sure how good this feature is.
Standard channels (non HD), via free aerial services never seem to look very good to me on any TVs I’ve had. I only ever watch HD though where possible. Can’t help you with the satellite question (sorry). I’ve mainly used cable TV and streaming services. I’ve not tried voice control without Wi-Fi. A quick search on LG’s website seems to suggest you do need Wi-Fi for voice recognition/voice control.
@@TheReviewFella Thank you for your help. Luckily I've seen this TV working on an aerial and the 42 inch version does a fair job of lower quality SD channels, the larger screens, may not be so good. The remote voice control does work without an internet connection providing you speak slow and clear. With a connection translation is done in the cloud.
55 inch is a nice size. I guess it depends on your room size and what you need it for. In the video is the 48 inch, as I bought it on day one and it was the biggest size available in the UK at the time.
@@TheReviewFella Nice video mate. i have the lg cx65 inch. is it a big step forward to go for the c2 or g2? wich do you recommended, c2 or g2? and can i buy here in europe also the large feetstand for the lg g2?
Thank you. The CX was succeeded by the C1, so the C2 is a step up again. You get a better processor, improved panel, new version of WebOS and a boost in peak brightness with the C2. The G2 costs more than the C2, but it’s basically the same TV. Difference is you have a slimmer panel for wall mounting, better heat dissipation so a small boost in peak brightness over the C2. You only get the wall mounting kit with G2, the foot usually costs extra. I think the C2 is the Best Buy for the money. I’m in the UK and both models will be available.
I noticed that most of all your settings are the same that you had with the lg C1. The only difference is in HDR. This time you prefer cinema home and on the C1 you like standard. Is there a reason for the change?
Good question. Two things here. First when making the C1 video it was early days and I perhaps didn’t understand quite as much as I do now (about picture settings). Secondly I don’t look back too much when new TVs come out. I choose what looks best to me on the TV I’m reviewing or setting up in the moment. I hope that helps. Thank you.
For sdr content it is better to set the oled light at 34-37 and gamma at 2.4 for 55 , 65 and more inches, and for 48 and 42" oled light should be at 45 . It's probably weird for the average person to reduce the brightness of their TV, but sdr content is grounded for 100-120 nits))
Would you mind clarifying? 55in: Oled light 34-37 gamma 2.4 48in: Oled light 45 gamma ? 42in: Oled light 45 gamma ? What would be good for a 77in? Thanks inadvance!
C1 is much cheaper now. The C2 has next gen processor, improved panel, new version of WebOS and a boost in peak brightness. But I still have the 65 inch C1 as it’s a great TV.
hello I am using your Calibrations settings on my LG g2 oled television, what settings should I use for sdr football, ifs brightness settings are too yellow (hot 50-30) which one is suitable for football, Can you help?
@@TheReviewFella sports mode is infamous unreal, hot 50-30 very yellow is ideal for film, but tv broadcast becomes dirty screen for documentary sports so what setting should I use for sports (soccer) for a correct and clear picture without getting away from reality?
I noticed in your gaming settings you said you leave everything at default settings. I also noticed you were talking about hdr settings. Do you ever play games that are only in standard mode? I find those to be less vibrant. Do you also leave those at default as well or do you adjust your settings that aren’t in HDR?
@@TheReviewFella I understand thats probably because you have only played games that are in HDR. I have a few that aren’t in HDR. I usually put those in native or change the mode to RPG mode. I was curious if you had games that weren’t in HDR.

You’re very welcome and thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. Enjoy your new TV!
Looks brilliant now. Warm 30 really makes it pop
Great 👍🏻
Bought my 48" c2 a few days ago, it looks amazing thanks to this great tutorial!! Thank you 👍
Good choice and you’re welcome!
Ordered the 77inch model waiting for delivery Great explanation will update
Thanks and enjoy your new TV!
Thank you. I have just pulled the trigger on the lg c2 77in. I will be using this video to set it up. Thanks again!
Glad it helped and that's a nice size. Thanks for your comment/feedback.
Yes very good information in the video just received delivery of my C2 77 inch today.
Thank you and enjoy. It’s a great TV!
HI. Just set up my LG 42" C2 tv. Was disappointed with SDR quality but since adjusted settings you suggested, quality is much much improved!! HDR content also fabulous. Thanks v much
You’re welcome and thanks for the feedback!
Thanks for sharing this. I just ordered the 55 C1 for my bedroom and the 65 C2 for my living room. Best Buy out here had an amazing sale and I had to pick them up. They'll be here next weekend can't wait.
Good choices. Enjoy!
Just got myself a C2 and felt overwhelmed with so many options. Used your HDR adjustmentes to use my Xiaomi Box and works like a charm.
Great! Thanks for the feedback.
AMAZING AND THANK YOU. JUST BOUGHT THE C2 65 PARTIALLY BECAUSE OF YOUR REVIEW
Thanks for the feedback. Enjoy your new TV!
Thnx just set up my lg 55" c2 tv
Adjusted settings you suggested, is much improved thanks v much 👌
Thank you and you’re welcome.
Thank you so much for making this video! It's incredibly informative. I wanted to find out if and how to set custom picture modes. You've shown me even more than I thought I needed to know.
My old LG TV had a very different customisable picture mode selection menu to what they have now. I'm sure I'll get used to it, when I buy my new T.V. though.
You’re very welcome!
.....is there any further prospect of your reviews such as the lg g3-c3 as you announced at an earlier stage?thank you..
Sadly not at the moment due to health issues. It is my next video. I just can’t put a date on it yet. Sorry.
@@TheReviewFella ok sorry, wishing you a speedy recovery....
Very clear and not too fast. Another video the guy talked way to fast this is much better, thanks.
You're welcome!
How do I get rid of the firework screen saver? I have Spotify play and it goes to the screensaver after a few minutes. Can this be turned off?
Just got this TV, needed some calibration. Found you, used your suggestions and gave you a sub. Good voice, nice video mate 🙌
Thank you so much!
I just purchased a LG CS OLED 65" and used your settings, looks fantastic 🙌
Thank you and yep, these settings should work great for the CS too. That's a nice TV and size. Enjoy!
@@TheReviewFella thanks mate!, I got it on Black Friday sale for an awesome price.
@@TheReviewFella I still need to update my AV Receiver, looking at the ONKYO TX-NR7100.
OLED Brightness at 95 is very high, my calibrated C1 is on 75 and it’s more than bright enough! And you’re right, warm 50 is closest to accurate
95 seems to work best for me in my environment. However, anything from 75 upwards usually works well. Thanks for your comment.
Peak Brightness is off for SDR?
C2 ordered yesterday. First 4k TV. Find it all a bit daunting if I'm honest. This guide will prove to be very helpful. Thank you.
It’s a great TV. Good choice!
@@TheReviewFella didn't see the S95B until after I ordered but I'm still comfortable with my purchase. New subscriber 👍
Thank you and welcome. Good to have you on board.
This is really Awesome and the best video pictures
Thanks for your feedback.
Thank you so much. Glad to have you on board!
Is this also effective on the LG C3 55?
Getting the g2. Very informative video.
Good choice. That’s a great TV. Enjoy, and thanks for the comment.
I plan on the same. I'll wait till June for prime day and hope it goes down 100 or 200. What size? I'm going for the 55 inch
If you can wait until Black Friday/Cyber Monday, you’ll save a ton of money. But the price will dip in the summer too.
@@TheReviewFella Thank you very much for the info and explanation. Great channel, just subscribed.

New C255 arrives Wednesday, my 1st oled. I appreciate your settings recommendations and while I’ll undoubtedly play around with some a bit I suspect I’ll likely end up with your suggestions. Thanks
You’re welcome.
You’re very welcome. You’ve chosen a fantastic TV. Enjoy!
@@TheReviewFella Thanks for getting back to me. Are there any live TV platforms that don't compress their content to death?
They all use compression. As they have to cater for folks with all speeds of internet. Some seem to stream better quality than others in my opinion.
Next week C2 83'' will knock to my doors. Can't wait :D
Wow that’s a big TV. Enjoy!
Thanks I don’t even have this tv but a dif lg one and these are great
Your voice is too unrealistically soothing my friend, vary nice sounding. For the first couple of seconds I thought it was a computer.
Great video 👍🏿👍🏿
Thank you for your comment. It sure is my voice.
Just bought the C2 65" THANK YOU for your thoughts and suggestions.
Great TV and you’re welcome!
Thanks!
Hi, thanks for this infor. one question, 1080p looks kind of terrible on my C2. very grainy and noisy. are there any settings i should be aware of?
I only change what’s in the video and 1080p looks great. Depends on your source of course. Streaming services look better than cable TV for example.
Excellent detail
Thank you.
❤❤❤ where is the pause button I watch UA-cam a lot, and sometimes put it on pause. Can’t find it on the remote.😮
The scroll/ball to operate the pointer is also a button that can be pressed for ok/pause etc.
Thank u! With your settings my OLED C2 42 inch I just bought looks amazing! I tried to do it myself and the ish looked terrible lol
You’re very welcome. Thank you.
Great video. Bought a 48" Friday. Looking forward to trying some of the settings.
Good choice!
Any advice for sports settings
I just leave it as in the video. But you could also try Sport Mode.
Very easy to follow instructions...will try out the settings when I get my new LG 65 C2 oled up and running next week.
Thank you for making this video.
Cheers
Thank you.

Hope you find the settings useful.

In the begging the video of the car driving through the mountain side and the camping video. Where did you stream that from?
It’s a 4K demo on UA-cam.

Good video, there isn’t a Cinema Home setting for my new C2 65”(Canada) only Cinema.
It should be available when you stream HDR content?
I just ordered the B2. Do you think these settings would somewhat carry over despite being a different panel?
Those settings should work fine. The B2 is very similar to the C2. I believe the main difference is the processor and panel type.
@@TheReviewFella awesome. Thanks for the quick response!
You’re welcome.
Gotta say I bought the 55" C2 and it us utterly amazing. The dogs bollocks as they say.
It’s a great TV. I’d love the 77 inch. Currently have the 65 inch C1 and 48 inch C2.
Glad you’re liking your TV. Thanks for the feedback.
What’s the best motion option if you watch mainly sports on the LG C2? Thanks!
I just leave the settings as in the video.
Control over hdmi is dramatic. I have two devices connected. when I turn on the tv, they both turn on 😥 on the previous tv, only the one I wanted, e.g. ps5, turned on.
Where did you get the LG demo video that you show at the beginning? Thanks
UA-cam. Search for LG 4K demo. It’s one made available by LG Global. Can’t remember the exact name sorry.
@@TheReviewFella thanks a lot for replying. I got the C2 65'' 2 days ago and I'm amazed. I'll try your settings, it's very well explained, I'm not an expert 😜 Regards
Fantastic TV, and a good size too. I hope you find the settings useful. Feel free to ask any questions if you’re unsure of anything.
I feel "standard" picture mode is the only mode that has smooth motion.. I dont know why tho
You could make any mode smooth if you want. Standard is just set to a higher smoothness that's all.
I have the C2& really it's great TV
Totally agree!
According to the user manual it supports voice recognition without an internet connection,
not sure how good this feature is.
@@TheReviewFella
Thank you for your help. Luckily I've seen this TV working on an aerial and the 42 inch version does a fair job of lower quality SD channels, the larger screens, may not be so good. The remote voice control does work without an internet connection providing you speak slow and clear. With a connection translation is done in the cloud.
Thanks for the settings. I’m debating between the 48’ and 55’ C2, that brightness boost in the bigger sizes is tempting
@@TheReviewFella maybe the 10 percent extra brightness is false marketing? When you do a comparisson between the 65 or 55 inch c2 and g2?
@@TheReviewFella did you have seen the c2 and g2 next to each other? you seen difference in brightness ?
I noticed that most of all your settings are the same that you had with the lg C1. The only difference is in HDR. This time you prefer cinema home and on the C1 you like standard. Is there a reason for the change?
Good question. Two things here. First when making the C1 video it was early days and I perhaps didn’t understand quite as much as I do now (about picture settings). Secondly I don’t look back too much when new TVs come out. I choose what looks best to me on the TV I’m reviewing or setting up in the moment. I hope that helps. Thank you.
Why expert setting doesnt show in my tv c2?
It’s one of the default settings out of the box for SDR content. It might depend on your source as to whether it’s available.
Are these settings also recommended for the B2 model? Getting my B2 delivered next week.
Yes for sure. These settings will work fine.
@@TheReviewFella Thank you!
Thanks for the info.
What brightness would you set for HDR and Dolby Vision?
Would you mind clarifying?
55in: Oled light 34-37 gamma 2.4
48in: Oled light 45 gamma ?
42in: Oled light 45 gamma ?
What would be good for a 77in? Thanks inadvance!
HI,
What is difference in between C1 and C2 because I am willing to buy LG C1? Let me know about it.
Thanks a lot.
C1 is much cheaper now. The C2 has next gen processor, improved panel, new version of WebOS and a boost in peak brightness. But I still have the 65 inch C1 as it’s a great TV.
Why won't you do your research instead of asking questions good is your friend
hello I am using your Calibrations settings on my LG g2 oled television, what settings should I use for sdr football, ifs brightness settings are too yellow (hot 50-30) which one is suitable for football, Can you help?
I don’t change anything for sport. I just have picture set at Expert Bright Space Daytime. You could try Sport mode? It might help?
@@TheReviewFella sports mode is infamous unreal, hot 50-30 very yellow is ideal for film, but tv broadcast becomes dirty screen for documentary sports so what setting should I use for sports (soccer) for a correct and clear picture without getting away from reality?
I don’t think I can help you on that one sorry. I don’t set the TV different for sport and it looks great on my C1 and C2.
@@TheReviewFella ok, thank you
I noticed in your gaming settings you said you leave everything at default settings. I also noticed you were talking about hdr settings. Do you ever play games that are only in standard mode? I find those to be less vibrant. Do you also leave those at default as well or do you adjust your settings that aren’t in HDR?
When playing my PS5 the TV goes into HDR mode automatically for HDR games. So I don’t need to change anything.
@@TheReviewFella I understand thats probably because you have only played games that are in HDR. I have a few that aren’t in HDR. I usually put those in native or change the mode to RPG mode. I was curious if you had games that weren’t in HDR.
