This is how a biopic should be made. No unnecessary scenes or songs for commercialization of the movie were inforced. R Madhavan did complete justice in narrating the story of Nambi Sir. SRK in the climax on his knees apologizing Nambi Sir had me in tears.

Actually madhavan mentioned in an interview that this movie is to celebrate the man and his overall work and not just his vilification and the controversy. He wanted to show that there is a man beyond just the controversy and I feel he did that with this movie.

In India, people love SRK. He did a cameo in this film. If this is the reason some people step into theatre, there's no harm in that. Infact this is the whole purpose of a cameo. Madhavan already spoke about it ( and I agree with him!)...he says that whenever one talks about Nambi, the first thing that comes to the mind is the case and not his exemplary scientific accomplishments. Many even don't know why he got the Padma award. So, it seems he decided to focus more on that aspect of his life than the case itself.
It's a sad truth that India failed Nambi. He should have been celebrated like Kalam.

The sad reality is that when most people encounter someone who has next level ideas and a brilliant mind beyond their limited expertise they tend to suppress them or sideline them instead of encouraging them. The simple fact is that we are bound to meet people smarter and faster than us but that doesn't mean we should get insecure and see them as competition or as someone who will take away our place. Let's celebrate the best minds we meet instead of feeling jealous or threatened, that's the only way India can reach its full potential. If we stick to just traditional thinking and established stable procedures we can never get ahead of other developed countries, we need to do something out of the box to get ahead (as long as its ethical) , sooner we realise, the better!

People who have passionately followed the scandal will love the film. My parents for example. They loved the film. Others might find it boring. I mean, Indian audience is inclined to macho type materials like 'RRR,' 'KGF-2.'
Movie is meant to inspire millions, not make millions. 🤷🏽‍♀️ I have said in 83 review also, I don't think opening numbers in theatre should determine a film's success. Reviews and audience response is what matters.

The film is gripping and the run-time is just perfect. Neither more, nor less. All the other cast members have done an amazing job. At the end of the film, everyone in the theatre was applauding. This is a story that had to be told in a cinematic way and team Rocketry succeeds at it. Respect !

Another movie that fell into the unending loop of whether it should be an OTT release or Theatrical one. Ever since I watched the trailer, I knew it would receive such response in Theatres because audience goes to theatres for movies that are entertainment (drama, action, comedy) driven & not ones that focus on actual issues or stories (unless MEGASTAR cast).
Creators should now for at least an year, take this into concern whether the topics are an OTT suit or Theatres one.

The positive points or the good points (as mentioned by the reviewer of this video) of the film are extremely worthy & unbreakable; plus the motive of R. Madhavan to make this film overshadows its setbacks or "underwhelming" aspects. A person with sound & thoughtful mind would realise & respect the way R Madhvan has toiled for the research. Moreover, this film undoubtedly makes the audience think about our superficial mentality, fake liberalism which is prominent these days & need for true patriotism. Sorry, I could not see any "underwhelming aspects" in fact rocket boys (series) had more "underwhelming aspects" if observed with unbiased & non prejudice eye.

These were engaging to me along with the last 40 minutes as you pointed out ofcourse.
