Jacob’s smiles and laughs are motivational to me. Love the videos! God continually bless you and your family.✝️
Pinks home of the snapping dog.Good video cool place.
My home park. Best park ever. I love it.
ROLLER COASTER CAPITAL OF THE WORLD! '
gets on a carousel'
😂😂😂😂
Boneville was the coolest thing ever! Now we know why you never see it raining people from Ferris wheels - no single riders. Learn something new every day...
It was actually the Cuyahoga River that caught fire in the 70’s but they cleaned it up since then. Love Cedar Point, went there all the time as a kid.
I LOVE cedar point!
Love cedar point! Hubby and son love the coasters. Me not so much, but I still love it.
Grew up in Lima,Ohio been to cedar point lots of time. Now live in s.c. You visited a remarkable park! Miss it a lot! 1st time for me in 1975!
Wow, I was there today
And the day u were there.
This looks amazing, you can spend a few days there!
That place is on my BUCKET LIST
Been to cedar point many times. Have ridden every roller coaster there. Never gets old. Nice living in Ohio your not too far from there.
A different view of CP, thanks.
Cedar Point is really fun. I go every year. The coasters there are incredible
This is my Favorite Theme parks to visit
I love this park this is the best park in the world best roller coasters
18:05 lmao that is hilarious. I have actually never heard that particular reasoning for no solo passengers 😂😮
Yay my home town.
so glad you didn't jump!!!
It's on my theme park bucket list. Hope I make it someday. I love coasters.
Oh God my anxiety watching those people on the coasters
Hysterical!.... suicide ferriswheel.... now that would be original!!!!!!
The sheer amount of times I've been to cedar point (bc I'm a michigander) makes his reactions to the roller coasters that much better
6:34 that's the Millennium Force! It was revolutionary when it was built in 2000, and still remains one of the top coasters in the world. The Statue Of Liberty could fit under that incline right there! It's definitely top 3 in my favorite coasters. It's even better at night when it's all lit up!
I'm going in 20 days!! ♡♡♡
Enjoyed going to Cedarpoint with you via your video. looks like a lot of fun for families with children! I lived close to there in Pittsburgh area, but never got to go. We enjoyed Westview Park via my Father's work picnics, it was a lot of fun & very good memories. No longer there. My family also grew up going to Kennywood Park, Baldwin Day, just family outings ,picnics, & a ton of fun! We loved the potato patch fries w/ cheese, the funnel cake, lemonade, skeetball, entertainment, to name a few. It is a wonderful place to go& visit if you never been. Just go by & see for yourself. You are close. The Thunderbolt use to be roller coaster capitol of the world. The new coaster this year is The Steel Curtain. Awesome!
I have a season pass to there, so fun!
A park can NEVER have too many roller coasters.
I really liked Bonevill as a kid. Also the riverboat ride and pirate ride which aren't there anymore. Remember going way back in 1992 when Magnum was still the tallest and fastest roller coaster in the world. Also remember doing that shooting gallery but it was like 5x as big back then.
Cool video Jacob...neat theme park
Cedar Point. Where the blasts don't end in the park. When you go back to your car, you'll find your ride was blasted by hundreds of seagulls.
6 flags great adventure in new jersey had the most and best roller coasters have been to ceder point very nice as well
Not too far from my old stomping ground.. CEDAR POINT IS MY FAVORITE PLACE IN THE W0RLD! Hope you enjoyed yourself..
Small section of the cuyahoga river near cleveland caught on fire. The was almost 50 years ago.
Welcome to Ohio, Jacob!!!! 😊
That worker with the horn was playing your "tut"
Maverick is the best coaster on the planet! Front row!
Dude, you didn't give Cedar Point its justice. It didn't look all that impressive. But, it is impressive. It's an awesome park. You where 10 miles from Edison s birth place.
yeah it is pretty much a 2 day park ....plus there are some really cool things to see right across the bay. Jacob would probably like the Carrousel museum (is that still there?)
vickie chandler yes. There's one in Mansfield too. But, I think that one's an actual carousel.
@@notgivennotgiven7776 i went to the one across the bay years ago...loved it. I think my daughter rode the carousel inside about 10 times...LOL She had to try ALLLLLL the horses..LOL
It has zero Dark Rides. It is all roller coaster. No fun if you aren't into that. And Edison was a sadist who tortured animals to experiment with electricity. So piss on him.
Never before have I heard of a waterfall described as "sloppy".
Thanks for going to Cedar Point, haven't been there for 20 some years and miss it like crazy. Used to go multiple times a year with season passes as a kid but can no longer due to health, and feel tickets are too expensive just for a stroll around to see things. It's nice to see most of it hasn't changed since I've been there. Like a time warp! I loved the rollercoasters, that was my main draw, but I get that some people don't like them. Still fun to watch and remember.
I love this place!!
7:52 This was probably the nicest camel you've met.... lol
"Oh my lord. What serial killer designed that roller coaster?" Classic line sir. Im using that one thank you. LOL
How to scare Jacob: spray compressed air everywhere
OMG I LOVE MONSTER JAM
Hey! I was there today!
Cool cedar point been there. Been along time! Thanks for showing.
Great to see you finally made it to Cedar Point! I live about 30 mins from Cedar Point. BTW Lake Erie didn't catch on fire. That was the Cuyahoga river
John Alferio Howdy, neighbor. I’m an hour out. :)
@@ashleybutler6831 same
Miss the Pirate Ride and Earthquake!!
The flying bike guy used to be on the boat excursion ride... miss my animatronic rides
He's paid his coaster dues. Watch some of the other vids, he goes on almost all of them! Geesh.... he's a brave guy!
I haven’t been to Cedar Point in 20 years. It’s definitely fun to see what it looks like now. I’m not as fond of rides as when I was in my 20s. 🤪
Love cedar point
I’m from Akron, Ohio. I love Cedar point!!
So many of my childhood memories center around this place. Living an hour away, went here over and over with my friends as a teenager.
You missed the best ride in the park the Racing Horses “carousel “
1. Lake Erie is known for some incredible fishing. Walleye and Perch are both delicious!
2. Cuyahoga River caught on fire, not Lake Erie.
my favorite one is the raptor and steel vengeance
Top Thrill Dragster is the biz
I'm dying laughing at the suicidal ferris wheel!
DUDE, i live at CP, i have a boat in CP Marina, i was there all weekend!
This is funny!
Cedar point is on a peninsula. Lake Erie is fresh water and the fish are fine. You were thinking of The Cuyahoga River which caught on fire but is healthier than ever. Cedar Point one of the roller coaster capitals of the world.
Omg I saw you at cedar point when you were recording
Second most rollercoasters in the US....goes on a carousel and sky lift hahaha classic Jacob
Don't forget the train!
He didn't want that coaster smoke 😂😂
quote of the day 14:00 "cold lips don't work well on the Bugle"
Hope ypu had a good time! Its our family tradition for decades to go to CP best place on Earth! Since you're so now visit Put in Bay!
7:26 that is the first time I have ever seen that outhouse actually open. It’s not supposed to lmao. Supposed to have several different funny phrases every time you try to open it. 🤣
I’m actually going to go here July and as a coaster enthusiast I am actually exited
Rollercoasters are so much fun!
That place looks like a lot of fun.
Awesome video Jacob!
Ah!! My home state! Been to cedar point countless times. Amazing, but best for thrill seekers. I love kings island too because they have great theming
My friends and I have come to the conclusion that Cedar Point's theming is roller coasters.
@@getmeinplz ha! That's a good way to put it! 😂
Honestly the only things you rode on were the sky ride, the train and Giant Wheel?? 😮😮 that’s crazy!! Lol
🎢🙌💙
You're like me, Carpetbagger. I will ride any Dark Ride and go into haunted houses, but I will not go on roller coasters or ride anything suicidal, lol.
Lol just kidding on the last comment I made! You made it to CP! 🙏🙏🙏🙏 best place ever!
9:35 thats not a wooden roller coaster, thats a hybrid. It has steel track and a few steel supports, but keeps its wooden skeleton. It used top be a wooden coaster but CP hired a company called RMC (rocky mountain construction) to upgrade it into what it is now. Im glad you finally visited my home park😀
Technically Steel Vengeance is a
hyper-hybrid coaster 🤷♀️😁
You finally made it to CP! It was cuyahoga river in cleveland appeared to catch on fire after sparks from train caught the wooden beams on fire thrn fell into river from bridge because they were covered in oil tar etc so oil spread to water and fire spread that way that happened around 1968 or so. Yes sinve the fire that bridge was decommissioned from use and beem cleaned up since.
I really wanted to see you ride Top Thrill Dragster!! My favorite ride there.
I went there last summer
Watch out for the suicide ferris wheel!
Whoop whoop, ohhhioo
You should come back during halloweekends!!
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you Jacob! It has been ages since I've been to Cedar Point. Brought back a lot of memories. Was hoping to see 👀 you on one of the coasters 😝 but understand that it's kind of hard to hold the camera and puke all while going like a bat out of the country. Thanks again!!
Grew up going there. Sadly last visit was in the early 90s, but I want to go back so bad. Was cool to see a lot of what I remember is still there along with lots of new stuff. I remember the part of Boneville that's behind the Mine Ride (you can see it when you're going up the lift hill). Never knew there was WAY more than that scene. Sad you didn't show the horse race carousel, Cedar Downs. One of my faves. My friends and I would bet quarters when we were kids on which of our horses would "win" and I had a particular horse I had to ride every time (black one with the green & yellow saddle).
Grew up going there, still try to go once a year. Thanks for making this. They did fix Lake Erie!
suicide reasons?? so it's a stranger's responsibility to save you if you decide to end your life? that's just an absurd reason lol i still believe it's because it slows the line down, great video jacob!
Best amusement park on earth💗💗💖
When I used to go to Cedar Point in the 80s and early 90s the train ride through Boneville had a lot of trees hiding the rides. Then for some crazy reason in the mid 90s they removed the trees killing the ambience. Also it's a shame they removed the paddle boat ride for dinosaurs
I promise 10-12 years ago.. all the stuff was soo much more western & better!
This park has been open since the 1800’s. The coasters are the best!!
You should come to Columbus
Im going this Saturday lets goo
My family used to go every year, and we stayed after dark to ride the train, when Boneville gets all lit up and the haunting music plays. Good times!
Cedar Point is the roller coaster capital of the world.
Ferris Wheel Suicide is a great name for a metal band.
G'day, Jacob! Great to see you at Cedar Point! What! (the roller coaster capital of the world) And No, Coaster's?! Well... You'll notice, theme parks have engaged in a dizzying quest for height in recent years that has spawned a number of roller coasters as tall as skyscrapers. Altitude rather than velocity has become such a defining characteristic that rides that take advantage of their soaring heights have been given a name befitting a mammoth frame: the giga coaster.
Enthusiasts use the term to apply to a roller coaster with a drop of 300 to 399 feet, meaning that its riders fall the length of a football field. (Anything beyond 400 feet and you’re in strata coaster terrain.) Four of the five giga coasters in the world are in North America, at theme parks all owned by the same chain, Cedar Fair Entertainment (the fifth is in Japan). “We want the biggest ball of twine,” said Rob Decker, senior vice president for planning and design at Cedar Fair Entertainment.
Being hurtled down a dramatic descent may seem like the same experience regardless of the ride, but each of these four giga coasters has its own appeal.
Note: As you climb to 310 feet, on (Millennium Force) to your left are stunning views of Lake Erie and to the right is an equally inviting overview of the park.
A cable lift pulls the train up to this height rather than the traditional chain lift. Cables are lighter, faster and quieter, making the ride up Millennium Force a smooth and speedy experience. There’s less time to anticipate what’s coming, but just enough to give you butterflies.
They won’t dissipate at the peak, when you realize that you can’t see the path of the coaster. Though you won’t know exactly where you’re going, you can be assured you’ll be getting there fast.
The drop is an intense plunge (80 degrees straight down) and then, just after the descent, the track veers sharply right at speeds up to 93 m.p.h. Next is a dark tunnel during which you can contemplate your existence before emerging to go up, then down, a 182-foot hill that provides one of the most thrilling moments of airtime on the ride. You truly feel as if you’re floating.
Once you’ve landed - that’s what it really feels like - a bundle of tracks you see ahead is something of a feint. It tricks you into thinking you’re heading one way but the ride sends you another, through trees, around through another tunnel. This ride goes easy on the brakes until the end, allowing you to speed through it with abandon. It may have been the first giga coaster, but it is still one of the best. Ride on!
Cheers!
Aww don't feel bad about the mean single rider girls, there are 195,000 people right here who would love to go on with you 😃
Kennywood is one of 2 amusement parks designated as a National Historic Landmark for its history and its historic rides. It's 1 of 13 trolley parks still operating today.
You should head down to Kings Island
