Hi Johnny! This is Dan Pitzonka aka. Pitzony… I’m thrilled to see you re-share my CP in the 4K reshade I noticed this morning upon waking up and I was insanely excited. Even more honored that I can be such a historic part of your channel! The past few months I’ve been really pondering of completely rebuilding the park to next years update in 2024 with the re-imagining of Dragster. I think this is a project I will embark on this winter to pass the winter months. Thank you so incredibly much for the exposure you’ve given my project. This one was truly for all the coaster fanatics who love coaster games. And a huge Thank you to all the incredible folks who helped me create this via the workshop! Hope to share with you again someday soon!
Glad to see you back Pitzony! You're a legend. Come join us on Discord and share your updates as you build the 2024 version! Also fun fact! Now with the scenario mode editor you can EXPAND the boarders of the park for even larger maps! :D
This is incredible. I just came back from a 3 day trip at Cedar Point. My first time there. What an amazing park and what a super accurate recreation on your part. Everything is still fresh in my mind and the placing (with the scale limitations of the game) are near perfect. It all matches my memories of walking around. I wish there was someone with your dedication building my homepark of Six Flag over Texas. Seems less people make recreations of real parks in this game than they did for the RCT series. People seem more into building these crazy fantasy parks. If I had tons of extra cash I would pay you handsomely to recreate SFOT.
Wow absolutely incredible. I’ve been going there my whole life and I even worked there for two years. This is the most faithful and detailed recreation I’ve ever seen. My question though is how did you get the midway paths to be so big and connected like that? Also why did you dig a giant trench for the park? Was that just to make it easier to see the boundaries of the park?
As a Cleveland, Ohio native (I’m only about 40 minutes from Cedar Point), this entire video feels like I’m sitting in my chair and experiencing the park. Every detail is so deliberately placed and so accurate to the real thing that’s it’s hard to believe it’s not some AI trick. 😂 Amazing park!
Took a couple year break from this game. Came back recently and honestly love to see the community still thriving! Good to be back Johnnie! Cant wait to get cracking a some new submissions! See yall in the cord!!
This is Dan Pitzony the creator of this park. I definitely anticipate to start a complete rebuild update to the parks future vision of 2024 with TT2. I’ve been walking the fence on this idea for months. But it will be the perfect project to embark on this coming winter!
@@Themeparkmisfits that's awesome! I don't remember, but I swear the chair lift doesn't exist anymore at cedar point? I never been in person, but have seen videos of vloggers at the park
@@TheBlueBunnyKen Thanks so much, I cannot believe how huge this blew up on channel 5 like one of his top planet coaster videos of all time I’m just so humbled to be a part of this all!
I just went there last month. The details are amazing, like the theming for the coasters, the hotel buildings at the edge of the peninsula, and the faithful rendition of the entrance. Like I was there, without the sunburn or spending a hundred bucks.
I can't believe to hear that people skip the walkthroughs. The walkthroughs are actually my favorite part. The coasters are fun and all, but something about seeing the way that people build and create an entire park and the layout and everything like that is just so cool and impressive to me
YES!!! So glad you chose this as one of your first Johnny5-Revives! :D AND it's Feature Length! Made my WEEK!!! EDIT: IRL the Gemini is "a little out of sync" too. Not QUITE by this much, but strangely this is closer to accurate than a well-sync'd one would have been. lol Basically they have to use excessive trim brakes on blue train, just to make it SEEM close... even though it really isn't. ;) PS: I'm not your standard analytics. I actually quite enjoy the walk-arounds. But that's because I'm REALLY interested in landscaping IRL... thanks in large part to theme parks in general, and RollerCoaster Tycoon and Zoo Tycoon as well. My current volunteer job is all about landscaping. So I quite enjoy the vistas, the gardens, and the way things are tied together by themes. As a matter of fact, I kind of wish you looked around a little more while ON rides, because a lot of those are designed to draw your line of site to interesting landmarks, or to tell stories along the rides. But to be fair, you've gotten WAY better at that over the years, so I'm not really complaining. Besides I'm not the one providing entertainment to masses, just by being a good presenter with a lot of energy; you are. And clearly you're doing it right. lol
I've never been that far east from Nevada to have gone to this amusement park but this was most excellent, every ride was awesome and still love the commentary to Wiki Johnny! 😁 All the coasters were a major rush. Thank you for even the ones like me, the visitors to be a part of this adventure.
Man, I haven't been to Cedar Point in 20 years...I think it's time for a revisit. The one thing I learned about Millennium Force is don't ride front row at night. Your face will be covered in dead mosquitoes and you can feel them pelting your face throughout the ride, it's disgusting haha. Anyway, great park recreation!!!
I love, love, LOVE when you walk around the park and the queues so I can enjoy all the tiny details these creators spent a painstaking amount of hours and sometimes years to complete. That is why I think you should do full tours of the parks you revisits out of respect to the creators so we can see everything without lag. You said your earlier videos are cringe (not true btw) but this would also give you the opportunity to make a spotlight that is up to your current standards. Thanks, Johnny! Love you buddy!
Glad I found this. My six year old loves coasters and as soon as he is tall enough to ride these coasters I plan on taking a trip to Cedar Point and spend a week there. We live an hour north of Philly so I think it’s a seven hour drive. Until then, he will probably watch this a million times.
Hey Everyone in the Channel5 Gaming community sorry to hear that Xaphor passed away. I've been watching you for awhile now and have gotten a chance to see a lot of his creations and they're great. R.I.P Xaphor. Have a great time riding the best rollercoaster in the world.
This park is incredible. I used to visit CP multiple times each year and have since moved across the country and this brought back some serious nostalgia.
I’ve probably been on raptor more than any other coaster in my life, and it was a very strange feeling to see the POV from the moment it starts pulling out of that station. I swear I could feel it. The details were absolutely perfect
So good honestly. As a former season pass holder of 10+ years this is incredible. Would've been neat to see a shot at disaster transport but everything is just spot on.
1:20:04 red baron doesn’t actually exist in real life, it was a heavily rumored future addition to Cedar Point that the creator must’ve thrown in at the time. Instead a Zamperla wild mouse sits in this plot in a boardwalk themed area, with Wicked Twister now being a 2 story restaurant.
As somebody who knows quite a bit about theme parks, Cedar Point is known to have a capacity around 52,000 guests or so. As a frame of reference, Disney World has a capacity of about 100,000 guests in the park at a time.
Fun fact valravns mid course brake run is flat (or slighty uphill i cant remember which) so if it block checks with passengers on it they have to evac instead of just resuming once the next section is clear. Hey Johnny, I think you should do a re-respotlight of Park Spotlight on Kings Island here in Mason, Ohio! I love this recreation and I’ll eventually get to visit Cedar Point in real life sometime. I do have a question, what’s a way to download this and have it for my Planet Coaster….is there a way to download people’s creations and play them on my Planet Coaster?
I would like to see re-creations of all the roller coasters that's ever been at Kings Island and Cedar Point. I've actually been fortunate enough to have ridden every roller coaster that's ever been at Kings Island. Yes, that includes the Bavarian Beetle and the original Bat, which is probably the two that's been ridden by the least amount of people. To be honest, I don't really remember much of the Bavarian beetle because I was pretty young (7 years old). I vaguely remember it. I do remember being barely tall enough to ride it and I remember the hills and stuff but I can't remember the full layout. I wrote it its last season there which was the first time I'd gone to Kings Island (1978). I have a better memory of the bat even though it's only 3 years later when I wrote it. The bad open in 1981 I believe I did ride it the first year it was open. But every other time I went over that three-year. 1981 through 1983 it was closed due to maintenance. The rest of the coasters I have gotten multiple rides on so I have better memories of them Plus I was a few years older on the rest. I love your Recreation of Cedar Point it looks really good and really accurate
Red Baron is actually not a coaster at cedar point. There are 2 kiddy areas at cedar point. There is Kiddy Kingdom at the front of the park which has no coasters, and Camp Snoopy back by Gemini which includes 2 coasters, a vecoma family coaster called Woodstock express and the first ever Intiman Wilderness Run.

I personally like to hear your "annoying" 😉😁 voice. Just the POV not really my thing, but complety understandable, since it takes way more time to edit videos with voice over
based on community feedback if I do Ch5 revive episodes of parks I will redo the commentary. However for the "best coasters of all time" where I re-feature a singular coaster, I will go straight to the POV for that!
if you could provide a link. I searched the workshop and nothing by his name comes up: steamcommunity.com/workshop/browse/?appid=493340&searchtext=cedar+point&childpublishedfileid=0&browsesort=textsearch§ion=readytouseitems&created_date_range_filter_start=0&created_date_range_filter_end=0&updated_date_range_filter_start=0&updated_date_range_filter_end=0
I actually love the walktrhoughs more than the actual coasters. But I do skip them in scenarios like this where I know the park. But if it's a completely new and made up part from a player.... PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE OUT THE WALKTHROUGHS!!!!!
the data on ttd isnt 100% true. buddy and I where on it when it 130. there was no hesitation when we went over the top hat. after we got off it broke down
Roller coaster names don't all need a 'the' in front of them. It's kinda cringe - kinda like when old people say 'the Facebook' or 'the instagram.' If the part wants a 'the' in the name, it'll be there - otherwise just 'Steel Vengeance' or 'Millennium Force' is good. Just FYI. Cool to see this park again!

I kinda hope at some point you get a really nice map like this of king's island next. So you van have both ohio super parks.

Way better, this park needs alot of power to run good. What's the specs on your new PC?

I personally like to hear your "annoying" 😉😁 voice. Just the POV not really my thing, but complety understandable, since it takes way more time to edit videos with voice over
based on community feedback if I do Ch5 revive episodes of parks I will redo the commentary. However for the "best coasters of all time" where I re-feature a singular coaster, I will go straight to the POV for that!
if you ever feel useless, remember that the advanced settings option for roller coasters exist
Check out the one built by frazcoaster
if you could provide a link. I searched the workshop and nothing by his name comes up: steamcommunity.com/workshop/browse/?appid=493340&searchtext=cedar+point&childpublishedfileid=0&browsesort=textsearch§ion=readytouseitems&created_date_range_filter_start=0&created_date_range_filter_end=0&updated_date_range_filter_start=0&updated_date_range_filter_end=0
Someone needs to remake Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
I hope the guests didn't swallow too many bugs
Looks 1;1 real ngl
Except for polygon hands lmao
I actually love the walktrhoughs more than the actual coasters. But I do skip them in scenarios like this where I know the park. But if it's a completely new and made up part from a player.... PLEASE DO NOT LEAVE OUT THE WALKTHROUGHS!!!!!
I’ve ridden Steel Vengeance at least 50+times and I can tell you there’s no recreation that can do it justice. I can’t see how RMC can top it.
Rougarou, aka Headbang Express.
Red Baron? 🤔
Jonny, check the ride spotlight submissions
the data on ttd isnt 100% true. buddy and I where on it when it 130. there was no hesitation when we went over the top hat. after we got off it broke down
Do not just show the coasters PLEASE... or make two videos, one where it's just coasters, one with the rest. I love the walkthroughs
should have recorded at a lower resolution for 60fps most people dont have 4k monitors
the red baron isnt a rollercoaster??? what thats not even in the park
Wish this didn't have the framerate of an atari
Jonny, I've added more pictures to what i submitted to you
You have talked about the new computer enough man.....
I don’t know why he doesn’t smooth the coasters
😳😳😳
Yukon striker is taller than valraven
Unfortunately Top Thrill has not been updated in this recreation
thats because this is 4 years old. Top Thrill 2 is planned for 2024 isn't it?
Upload the map for planet coaster 2🫡
Power Tower is wrong........
The Red Baron is NOT a ride at Cedar Point.
Mantis was better then Rougarou
0/10
