I never really thought about the reason the citadel goes into full lockdown in the start of the game Lamarr really did just cause Gordon to teleport directly into the citadel
Infact if not for Lamarr, Gordon wouldn't teleport into Citadel, Combine and Breen wouldn't even know Gordon is alive, because you just teleport to Black Mesa East the Combine wouldn't raid it because you didn't use the air boat, Eli wouldn't be Captured, and you wouldn't have to storm Nova Prospekt, and with that never happening the Uprising wouldn't begin, and the Citadel might've never been destroyed. Without Lamarr, Half-life 2 wouldn't happen.

At 17:00, you can kill the second Hunter chopper by running through the gate on foot, spawning it, then running back and using the MG tower to shoot it down. Joseph Anderson did it in the trolley saga.

Gordon woke up and chose violence. His goal is to save as many citizens as possible, and nothing the Combine have to throw will stop him. The absolute rampage in the mission Our Benefactors was just amazing. It's always fun to just take off the kid gloves and unleash chaos on your enemies. And great job saving so many citizens, this was incredible. Humanity survives! But the fight is not over yet, Half Life 2 Episode 1 and 2 are left to complete, with many more lives to save and Combine to destroy in the mission to save Earth.

What i do is bring it with me into ravenholm and then use as bait for zombies, they come to closest enemy and cannot deal any damage to The Ball. It also serves as a great cannonball too. It can serve the just cause even when away from human bases.
While I wish its faction was set to that, but it’s actually named something different (like Matt) so it can’t attack. it’s pretty obvious that it tries to roll into you, and the other members of the resistance don’t like it. I still find him to be the best character, just correcting that statement.
One thing I did whenever I disarmed Spider-Mines was moving them to choke points and POIs. For example, I’d spread them out around doorways and supply caches. Along the coast, at each cleared outpost, I also leave a “table” built of scrap and stock with guns, meds, gasoline, ammo, etc. I also tried to make networks of platforms after the lighthouse, just in case anyone has to move through the area. It wasn’t perfect, but I hope it helped.
The way you put rifles on the table reminded me of my own playthrough of HL2, when i did tidying up of the whole halflife world. Meaning at every level, i kept putting every movable object into perfect order. For example when i enter a room, i put all the chairs and tables into normal positions, then gather all the weapons, ammo, cups, bottles, garbage etc, and place it perfectly onto shelves and tables, leaving perfectly clean and accurate room behind. And i did it EVERYWHERE. Whole world, when possible. Also when in Nova Prospect, i was carying every possible hacked turret with me, all the way till the final chamber. Combine were very unhappy to see the room being covered with 10 or 12 sentries in the end. But the way you managed to save the guy with an energy ball, deflecting the rocket, is a stroke of genius. Also clearing entire square without letting anyone die is truly the gem of this playthrough. Im looking forward for Ep1 and 2, but im afraird they are too short and dont have many survivors in them.
I really appreciate the comedic editing in this. It's frequent, but unobtrusive, meshed in with the gameplay footage and voiceover that would already be there.
The background lore and context is helpful, the little details like leaving medpacs and guns for the resistance add to the empathy and realism of the goal, and the memes are spot-on. Fucking bravo, Jam
There are very few videos of yours out here. And yet, I am able to safely say that every time I see a new one come up, I am excited. Roleplay is not something many people do, but more so when it comes to a challenge run. Especially where the run is not the norm of speedruns or 100% completions. I have a theory on saving the dying security guard at Surface Tension. My theory is that if you place a grenade somewhere able to hit his hitbox but not kill him. I think he would survive. In Entanglement, there are 8 turrets total. 2 from a control room, 3 from a prison block, and 3 in the teleportation room. There is NOTHING stopping you from slowly moving the first 5 turrets to the teleportation room. Not even the water. You just have to make sure the turrets go forwards before you do, as some doors permanently close once you pass them.
0:58 I remember hearing somewhere that the rocket may have been to close the Xen portal on Earth's side. There's a stark difference between the teleportations into Black Mesa before and after the launch. The ones before were uncoordinated, random, and mainly consisted of wildlife like headcrabs, squid wolves, sonic hounds. The moment where a squid wolf teleports onto a metal bridge that collapses and causes it to fall to its demise provides a prime example. However, after the launch, every teleportation is a sneak attack made by headcrabs, vortighaunts, and grunts. The rapid military incursion by Xen forces in the post-rocket chapters indicates a direct effort by the Nilianth to gain a foothold on Earth before it lost the chance, made especially intense by its struggle to keep the portal open on the Xen side. Bring up different possibilities, like, as an example: "If you want to save both sides, then leave your soldier partner behind, kick the rebel's gun away with Q (so that they cant kill you) then knock them out with the non-lethal stun stick and drag their unconscious body to a hidden corner behind a barricade where you put a bunch of supplies and weapons so that they can wake up and remain safe from other combines while well-equipped, and then go forward your combine soldier partner, but if you only care about saving the citizens then let your combine partner die to a barnacle earlier on the level (you get a game over if you're direct with your friendly fire) and then disarm the rebel and make them run towards the same corner from earlier"

There are very few videos of yours out here. And yet, I am able to safely say that every time I see a new one come up, I am excited. Roleplay is not something many people do, but more so when it comes to a challenge run. Especially where the run is not the norm of speedruns or 100% completions. Hey! Aquagamer26 here, never thought I'd be in a saintjam vid! I plan on making a video on trying to save EVERYONE who you thought was impossible to save. I have a theory on saving the dying security guard at Surface Tension. My theory is that if you place a grenade somewhere able to hit his hitbox but not kill him. I think he would survive. But enough of me rambling. Thanks man for the shoutout!

In Entanglement, there are 8 turrets total. 2 from a control room, 3 from a prison block, and 3 in the teleportation room.
There is NOTHING stopping you from slowly moving the first 5 turrets to the teleportation room. Not even the water. You just have to make sure the turrets go forwards before you do, as some doors permanently close once you pass them.

There's a stark difference between the teleportations into Black Mesa before and after the launch. The ones before were uncoordinated, random, and mainly consisted of wildlife like headcrabs, squid wolves, sonic hounds. The moment where a squid wolf teleports onto a metal bridge that collapses and causes it to fall to its demise provides a prime example. However, after the launch, every teleportation is a sneak attack made by headcrabs, vortighaunts, and grunts.
It seems as if the rocket launch had a direct impact on the state of teleportation between Xen and Black Mesa. The rapid military incursion by Xen forces in the post-rocket chapters indicates a direct effort by the Nilianth to gain a foothold on Earth before it lost the chance, made especially intense by its struggle to keep the portal open on the Xen side. Thus, perhaps the rocket was intended to nullify the Earthbound effects of the Resonance Cascade, and it just happened to escape satisfying explanation besides a single guard's line. At least they didn't rant about it all the time, like the train from Cod BO3.

with this massive slander on the combine it will be very unconformable to do a "saving everyone in Entropy Zero 2" video
He will either:
1. Do like the opposing forces vid and help the Combine anyways for the purposes of the vid
2. Bring up different possibilities, like, as an example: "If you want to save both sides, then leave your soldier partner behind, kick the rebel's gun away with Q (so that they cant kill you) then knock them out with the non-lethal stun stick and drag their unconscious body to a hidden corner behind a barricade where you put a bunch of supplies and weapons so that they can wake up and remain safe from other combines while well-equipped, and then go forward your combine soldier partner, but if you only care about saving the citizens then let your combine partner die to a barnacle earlier on the level (you get a game over if you're direct with your friendly fire) and then disarm the rebel and make them run towards the same corner from earlier"
