On one hand, yeah. On the other hand, tiberium is still a valuable resource to be collected, and every site that's built up and secured from further possible aggression means more funding for the Brotherhood, as well as a bonus to propaganda by doing what GDI should be doing in the first place.

19:59 Unexpected Ross Scott I’m impressed you’re able to do all this without losing even one unit. Hell, I’m impressed *anyone* can beat *any* RTS game without losing any of their units. lol
Holy shit, I love the way you use memes in the middle of these videos, just not stopping the narration and dropping them on me from nowhere, always catches me off-guard which makes them even funnier. Keep it up with these vids you make, good work. Also based choice of poland reference (and music), i commend lmao.

You have no idea how much that means to hear, thank you! It's a hard balance but I'm glad I was able to introduce one of my favourite games to a new audience 😋
Great video. Your approach actually makes Kane's promises and Nod propaganda sound quite close to truth. At least for african continent. Avoiding collateral damage, pursuing safety of your troops even going as far as using improvised combat vehicles(harvester tanking and ramming), doing your best to remove and contain tiberium wherever possible, preserving all possible resources by repurposing enemy production facilities and finally also giving jobs to tens of thousands of locals(even if as Nod soldiers, construction workers and mechanics). Truly a cause worth fighting for. A united African Union aiming for well being of its populace, no matter their standing, race or religion/beliefs, because there is only one true prophet, Kane 😅 I would also like to point out that Kane first appeared as one of Stalin's advisors in altered timeline, so Nod geography of appearances and equipment usage isn't coincidental. Kane was siphoning out funds, minds and equipment from USSR, Warsaw Pact, Yugoslavia and PRC. And he likely would have stayed in the shadows had the tiberium not landed on Earth. Kane knew about the Scrin, so he likely knew what would happen to the planet and how long humanity had left. He had to act to save at least someone. Nod light tank is likely a derivative of T-54, be it Type 59/69, T-62, T-55AM, Tiran or some other part of said bloodline. A tank family that was produced in numbers of over 100k units worldwide so it would likely persist into 2100's irl😅 Given that Nod delivers vehicles instead of producing them, it makes sense. Compared to it usage of Abrams is a bit weird, but given the divided state of Europe, I'd say GDI was forced to import equipment from "safe heaven" of US. So given that you need to capture their factories to produce medium and heavy tanks, I'd assume that Abrams and Apocalypse... woops, sorry, Mammoth tanks are destroyed GDI tanks from previous missions that you were able to restore to working condition. As for Mammoth, clearly based on Apocalypse... Stalin likely died much later in that reality then irl thanks to Kane's help, as alternate WWII happened at least in 1960's given all the tech. So without Khrushev axing all heavy tank developments to pursue high complexity projects like space program and development of guided precision weaponry, USSR likely kept on with their gigantimania of heavy tanks like ST-2(the only known to me project to seriously consider twin cannons instead of bigger cannon), Object 279(four tracks in different arrangement) and so on up to somehow coming up with the idea of Object 490 two decades earlier(again, quad tracks and gun big enough to justify two barrel. Why? Because at 150+mm caliber autoloader becomes such a massive investment that you might as well do it). No idea what that abomination ended up being designed for, but here it was. And GDI commissioned South Africa to update the design before likely rushing hundreds of them from Russia to frontlines. And south african G6 SPG that became mainstay of Nod artillery late into thos war as seen in Renegade is a testament to your success and a nice continuity _nod_ I would also recommend channel called Jethild for C&C lore, with whom I sometimes disagree on technical details of military vehicles, but whom overall does a great job of collecting all possible lore for the series.
This trully is a rare gem, while a true Nod believer will sacrifice his life without thinking, can we trully afford to waste such valuable assets? No we say, in the future the Nod is planning for humanity, every single life has a value that cannot and shall not be underestimated. this video's presentation is so weird that i didnt even understand that it was a "can you beat C&C as nod without losing a single unit" video until about 8 minutes in. that's not totally a bad thing, though, the presentation is SUPER cool and VERY immersive :D
@jessegd6306 the majority of strategy games are not real time and often have an active pause feature, though we do see some RTS games now most are made by small indie ish teams with large ambitions and small budgets. Unfortunately, as a genre, there's just not enough blood in the veins to get the games of old anymore. Sadly, we've replaced innovation with simplification, which is awful for a RTS. There's something sad about knowing that your children will never know the way these games felt to you that the best you can hope for is they'll play a butchered corpse animated by nanomachines and smile about it. You know, this series has inspired me to think of a game idea involving allied and civilian NPCs, wanting to make them properly useful and rewarding players for saving them. Recreating that whole feeling of keeping the Marines (and allies) alive in Halo.
I suppose XCOM kind of does that, off the top of my head. And Empire at War has civilian NPCs that can fight alongside you and potentially capture important objectives (turrets, command posts, etc).
Anyone else with the chill background music and his storytelling save these for a saturday morning with a bowl of cereal? Oddly reminds me those kinda weekend cartoon vibes and i love it.😅
Please god do some sort of challenge run for Renegade, hearing you mention it and how good it was brought back so many memories for me, from rerunning the campaign over and over to loading multiplayer games with bots and rolling over the GDI as General Mendoza. God I loved that game
I really enjoy this style of video. I’ve never seen a campaign walkthrough thats tutorialesque tied in with the in game lore done this well! Usually it’s a mess but this is clean concise and most importantly, not 6 hours long lmao Definitely gonna check out some of your other videos
This is the first video in a LONG time that i was able to just sit down and watch all the way through without stopping (especially one this long). Well done, I love completing games like this.
Man, doing that kind of immersive emergent gameplay stuff takes me back so much. As a kid in RA2 I used to use transport helicopters to pick up the freed miners when you destroyed a yuri ore miner, and drop them off in a fenced off refugee camp I built in my base.
This game has a fantastic plot, excellent work explaining this story and really diving deep into the gameplay and truly capturing the best experience of your capabilities given the tools. Awesome videos dude
I love that your videos are both pleasant from the conceptual point, for people without any in-game experience, and for people that actually played the game, cause you might learn something new - tricks, strategies or facts, unknown for the average player. You *are* a saint.
You have added an additional MASS into this storyline and gameplay. I enjoyed this so much and am in AWE of the work put into it. Commentary, story telling, and overall gameplay WELLDONE! I truly enjoyed this hidden gem! Congrats
the little roleplay stuff you do at the end of missions is how i used to play old rts games too, like wc2, id make little towns or military camps all over, give them some backstory and interactions, brings me so far back
Yet again, you amaze us with your videos. The way you go into detail about the plot and the way you give us a new view and take on things makes us want to fight the good fight and fight for what is right! You inspire us all! Not only that, but you inspired me to go back and play DOOM 3: BFG Edition, play on hard, with its expansions, and use the SaintJam Stratagem. :) Saving your co-workers, saving data, NOT wasting fuel etc. I have dubbed it Saving The Mars Base in DOOM 3. Maybe you could turn it into a video?
Love your “Save every X character” series so fun to watch since I try to treat my soldiers like they are alive and save as many as I can in my games ❤️
dealing with the airstirkes must have been a PAIN. they are constant, everywhere, insta-kill MANY things (all infantry, hum-vees/buggies), are SUPER fast (sometimes SAMs cant even kill them), and QUITE tanky. MASSIVE props for successfully not losing any units to those
So happy to see that there are other people who played this game like I did as a kid. I was hell-bent on not losing any of my troops. I was responsible for their lives, so all the wounded got sent back to base just like that. I'd also contain all the tiberium fields as well.
genuinely so happy that you chose to do this, i love your videos and get so hype seeing a new one has come out, watched all the saving videos you have, hopefully youre able to do some more soon!
I loved playing this game as a kid! The set piece videos between missions, the actors making me feel like I was actually a key player. I had none of the background you relate - I wish I'd been more switched on to the data on tiberian deaths etc you touch on. That would have made my playing even more involved haha! 45:10 oh my GOD I loved that soundtrack. Brilliant video, man. Thanks.
2:57 Haha! You used my shitpost! Never thought it would've gotten the reach it did, but I'm glad it made its circles throughout the C&C fanbase. I really need to get back into editing stuff like this :)
Never played a C&C game or even had any idea what it was about. The concept immediately got me invested enough to check how much it was on steam and immediately bought the Remastered Collection when I saw it was on sale for $5.
By how you roleplay the campaign makes me remember how i would create and design the layout of my bases in many RTS such as generals and down of war. Glad I'm not the only one! I hope you do one for other RTS games such as generals. You're videos are very entertaining
This is really well made and I liked seeing you plan out the missions not just to win but to make sure those gains were protected. I'd love to see you cover the next war in Tiberian Sun
Absolutely l9ove how much effort you're putting into this - actual in-universe set-up for future people, building up an army that isn't needed for gameplay just because it makes sense, I love that shit.

Usually it’s a mess but this is clean concise and most importantly, not 6 hours long lmao
Definitely gonna check out some of your other videos
Glad you think so! Yeah juggling story, lore and gameplay is a tightrope, but feels BEYOND cathartic when it's done juuust right 😄
Hey man I appreciate your content and would love to see more in the future take care SaintJam
Absolute legend, Thanks to you just watching my content, pushes me to make more stuff in the future, cheers 😄
Oh snap! A C&C video? Heck yea
(I'm a massive C&C fan)
These videos get me into series I never really thought about before like command and conqueror or dawn of war
Please never change the intro. I rewatch these videos just for it. Especially the Dawn of War videos! Don't get rid of Scarlet Fire either! :D
I love the setup of all your videos. Keep up the good work, and I can't wait for more.
LETS GOOOO! ANOTHER FIRE UPLOAD!!!!
keep going man. Videos are fire and you deserve more than what you have here.
I literally finished watching the video about saving every marine in Dawn of War less than an hour ago. Cheers!
AHah your welcome man! This was cooked up just for you 😌
43:49 _"We slowly make short work of them."_
I love oxymorons.
I miss pre-EA C&C so much
I love that your videos are both pleasant from the conceptual point, for people without any in-game experience, and for people that actually played the game, cause you might learn something new - tricks, strategies or facts, unknown for the average player. You *are* a saint.
I love that, honestly these videos are a love letter to the games and I'm glad both fans and new people can experience the full thing 😄
I love playing games with a narrative slant, this was super sick! The setting of the CnC games is suprisingly deep. Thanks for your hard work.
You have added an additional MASS into this storyline and gameplay. I enjoyed this so much and am in AWE of the work put into it. Commentary, story telling, and overall gameplay WELLDONE! I truly enjoyed this hidden gem! Congrats
I just want to say, great work really, and....
DOWN WITH THE GDI !!!
Imagine saving civilians in GLA campaign xD
the little roleplay stuff you do at the end of missions is how i used to play old rts games too, like wc2, id make little towns or military camps all over, give them some backstory and interactions, brings me so far back
Yet again, you amaze us with your videos.
Maybe you could turn it into a video?
yeah man! Every time I see you upload I immediately watch it because this is my favorite series ever!
7:39 Hey, hey people, Sseth here
I loved playing this game as a kid! Thanks.
By the way, love the little cameo vids you edit into this video too. Makes me chuckle.
You earned yourself a subscriber. C&C is one of my favorite series.
2:57
Haha! You used my shitpost! Never thought it would've gotten the reach it did, but I'm glad it made its circles throughout the C&C fanbase. I really need to get back into editing stuff like this :)
your content is actually incredible man, i cant count how many times ive rewatched all of these videos, keep it up man :)
Never played a C&C game or even had any idea what it was about. The concept immediately got me invested enough to check how much it was on steam and immediately bought the Remastered Collection when I saw it was on sale for $5.
i love how all your videos carry that feels like ten minutes is actually and hour typa vibe flawlessly
Wholesome purpose combined with masterful execution and artisan-grade memecraft. Great video.
I used to build nice bases with concrete walls on the same template as the AI's with the opening boxes lol.
Ross Scott as Kane, I love it 😂
Absolutely l9ove how much effort you're putting into this - actual in-universe set-up for future people, building up an army that isn't needed for gameplay just because it makes sense, I love that shit.
