@@SA4x4online I got the gray colour, quite like it! Germans buy only gray cars basically 😂. Man i have two more cars here, modern SUV stuff but i am having so much more fun with the jimny! Every time i get into the big cars it feels so numb and sad.. Have fun with your Jimny!

Great simple review. I guess I would kit this out and just take it on off-road adventures amazing value

Absolutely! Some of the greatest fun we've ever had off-road was in a Suzuki Jimny. Their SJ410 was one of our first ever review vehicles! I still remember cleaning out the carburetor after it went for a swim along the orange river :D :D #ToughAsNails

I made the mistake of buying this car with AT. Manual is the best way with this car. Great review btw.

Thank you Jay! its nice to know when our work is appreciated ;) We 100% agree with you that MT is absolutely the best way to go. You will feel more in control behind the wheel and the power is there for you at the "push of a foot". ;) For us personally..... describing the drive through sand, dunes, mud and rock faces.......its simply the most fun you can have with your clothes still on these days 🤣🤣

@@SA4x4online Lmao agreed! For me Jimny was a downgrade from a LC v8 and a Fj. I don't doubt the offroad capabilities of Jimny and I'm definitely not comparing it with bigger offroad vehicles. For me the Jimny was an upgraded to a 1.3L Yaris. The AT is not responsive. Car needs a lot of soundproofing and different set of tires (215/55) 16" rims for stability IMO. After the purchase I got to know that the car is made in India so I'm confused is the Japanese made Jimny better in quality. Would be interesting is someone makes a comparison video between the Japanese and indian made Jimny. To my Knowledge Jimny LCV will be made in Japan only for Australia.

@@Jsmashfq yeah! That would be a tough one to compare. Will see what we can do for you. 😉 why did you decide to get rid of the FJ?

@@SA4x4online didn't get rid of the Fj. Gave it to a young family member. I just grew out of desert driving. I realised there are many more adventures than off roading, how you said it... with your clothes on lol

Even with off roading would you still pick the manual? I choose the auto since I am mainly going off road, therefore don't want to stress the clutch as much

hahaha! Well, Jacques is over 6f tall and build like bakkies Botha. however in this instance... i think he may have struggled to pick a whole Jimny by himself. 🤣🤣🤣

if only they could improve the mileage, i want this car but fuel price in India has risen to 1.3 $ per litre and will continue to increase in price by 2$ by the end of this year. If I could install Cng kit that may help.

Thanks Willi. the Jimny 1.5GLX should be exceeding light on fuel. What speeds are your driving? and wat kind of revs are you getting? In our opinion the Jimny is built for capability - meaning it can do anything and go anywhere. Its certainly not a formula one roaster. ;) . We would suggest giving a humbling wave to others as they pass, apposed to driving with your accelerator glued to the footwell. Turn up your music, and enjoy your ride.
Remember...... you have low range ;) They dont.

they said the steering wheel is smooth or like, does not feel like heavy to turn in general. is it true?

hi Jan, correct. the steering in the Jimny is easy - as much as any vehicle nowadays because power and hydraulic steering assist is the seemingly the norm on newly manufactured vehicles. However, older vehicles may differ. if you are having any problems or have heard of any problems with steering, we encourage you to visit your nearest accredited Suzuki mechanic or fitment centers for testing. We have heard some users on our Forum that have applied many aftermarket accessories after their initial purchase all with variability. Some local DIY "experts" manage to service their vehicles easily and correctly, while others rely on partial "expert" advice from friends and family. This is usually where things either go very right, or very wrong. Suzuki's are somewhat easy to service yourself - but you need to know the basics of vehicle parts and accessories. Extremely easy if you've upgraded with the times from a Suzuki FJ410 - to current. In short, no, the Suzuki Jimny doesn't have any steering issues that we have heard of. However - it all depends on who tampers or modify's your vehicle. is it a qualified expert? or an online "expert". that is the difference. in our opinion, these are very affordable and fun vehicles to own. Especially if you want to travel anywhere.
Although - no Suzuki would ever break the quarter mile challenge. As they aren't built for speed. they are built for adventure ;)
