In Indonesia it's sold out everywhere, some dealer has up to 250 orders, and the wait time is 4 years. I don't get why they don't just shift the production to Indonesia or India where they have a big plant.
WOW i am really impressed by the teacher who is so sympathic and really emphatic and you are such a cool calm and serious guy big congrats to you to your girlsfriend and your skills i felt so included to the harmony of your lesson and the fun while doin offroad one word great !
Well done Natalie! You did great. I did the L1 training in March. First time ever I was behind the wheel doing everything. Nice too see more ladies doing the driving.
This video shows what the new Jimny is capable of, even in standard spec, a superb little offroader and okay on the highway too, ordered my Jimny in England in the first week of January 2019 and collected it in the first week of February 2020,certainly a lot more civilised on the road than my previous Land Rovers, it was worth the wait.
I booked a 5 door Jimny in India… it’s more a heart vs brain choice… Every time I get second thoughts I just come here watch this video. Your Jimny, flexing on those axle twisters, looks like an unstoppable brute !
Awesome Jimmy ! ! Have ordered one in february... will be delivered march 2020. My Jimny2013 was hit by another car in january. Decided to wait for a new Jimmy, just love this car.
I wish we have a good training ground & faculty for 4x4 driving here in the Philippines! And if we have, I'll matriculate. This a 4x4 for is a good skill set esp. during rescue missions since we are hit by about 20 typhoons a year.
@Valhallaaaa As someone who lives in Rural England at the mo...40 grand for a base unit is insane. I imagine when the commercial comes out it will have to be 10k less...minium
pj tren yes ,old defender is the ultimate military workhorse ! Not all defenders are unreliable! The Land Rover wolf which is the military grade defender is the most capable military 4x4 which had won many wars along with Toyota 4x4s in terror hit nations of the gulf and Persian countries!
Wonderful training!! The procedure of first walking through the course is good. It's gives an idea of the inclination. Jimny capability is really awesome 👌👌👌.🤩🤩
Amazing that they offer these courses! Considering that I'm getting my Jimny this week (first time owner), do you know if anyone offers courses like these in KZN? There are plenty of 4x4 training courses, but none that I've found that are specific to Jimnys. Otherwise it's a road trip to Gauteng for me :-)
Love how the music changed when you took over the wheel, because your missus was to scared to finish the hill, kinda like "this is how is done babe" moment ... Nah but in all seriousness awesome man. Love your ride
as no diff locks are yet available i therefore remind you that the m/t bfg km3 option will minimize the issues of grip and spin, without compromising blacktop performance or consumption can't wait to personally testing them on snow soon, even though I've seen them perform extremely well
Not sure what you mean - there are diff locks available for Jimny. Maybe not on your market? For example this channel has them for ages: ua-cam.com/video/rr5W3F5Vxs0/v-deo.html
I absolutely love the look of the Jimny! Makes me consider one whenever I see it. Only issue for me is it’s impractical storage capacity (though I love the minimalist size), but mostly the weak engine. I test drove one and, although the manual transmission is smooth, it’s super high revving and quite underwhelming on takeoffs and high speeds. They should’ve made a 1.6L engine at least.
Have you done a video where you sit down and explain your setup? I like your videos but you always have a lot of extras in them. As someone who is getting a jimny for their first 4x4 car i did enjoy this video but i would also love one that gives a good explanation into the gear and brands everyone uses as Australia does not have to much gear for the new jimny.
There is a comparison from unsealed 4x4 on UA-cam featuring some modded Australian Jimny’s. The Roam Jimny’s bumpers are 👌 but unfortunately probably not available in Australia.
Hey Rob, I am just waiting to settle my decisions on the vehicle build before I go out and tell people about it, I also want to make sure I have used and tested everything properly before giving you feedback 👍🏻
Jimnys are sweet.. I just wish they had a little more horsepower. I have a 2 door 1989 2 door Jeep Cherokee that weighs 3,300 pounds and has a 178 hp 220 lb ft torque engine and the Jimny weighs 3100 lbs with 80 horsepower engine.. The wheelbase is the most attractive thing to me about this vehicle.. you could go up and over just about anything with a little more juice I think. Reminds me a lot of my 2 door Jeep Cherokee.. shame Jeep hasn't made a worthwhile Cherokee since 2001 when they stopped the 4.0L Inline 6
I saw a 2 door Cherokee the other day, parked right next to my Jimny, and it was so awesome! Not much wider or longer, so very interesting vehicle! Would be a very fun build!
Hi, started loving the suzuki Jimny. I have one question, when you fold the rear seat for a child rear access, does the original driver position remains the same upon folding seat back or the driver needs to readjust seat constantly. A bit like Memory seat some vehicle have.
Hi, Thanks for your reply. In my country MU, we have it in GLX version. I was at first loving the renault Duster. Upon viewing all the videos of Suzuki Jimny, and its skills, i am unable to turn back to Duster. Part time 4WD is already available in jimny with LSD. In the duster AWD, the price would already jump high enough for me to take a 4x4 Mazda Bt50 2.2 Diesel Turbo. I have already made my choice. In terms of cargo space, it wont be a concern. I enjoy mild muddy, dry offroading and kayak fishing.
@@RoamOverlanding thanks mate. Awesome vid. I use mine on the cca same pressure on terrain but the tpms warning blinking continously. Is there any possibility to deactivate it till i goes on the off-road? Thanks
Hey. First I would like to thank you for your extremely well made, entertaining and educational content. I would like to know your opinion about lockers on the new Jimny. Are you ever missing lockers when you are off roading your jimny? Does the Jimny really need lockers? Do you think lockers is going to be a future upgrade on your jimny? Thanks. 😊
Thank you so much for the kind words Andreas! I don’t think the Jimny NEEDS lockers, but it would feel safer having lockers that’s for sure. Traction control tends to have a jerky nature to it, so it engages quite suddenly, and works well but I would prefer the control of a locker. If you have the money for one, then go for it, but I wouldn’t go out my way to install lockers
Roam Overlanding Thank you for your reply! I am still waiting for my Jimny, so for the moment I am deeply occupied with planing what mods to put on it from the start. You have provided lots of inspiration. 😄 Another question: The larger Eezi Awn Roof rack, with taller legs, was that a straight fit? What model was the rack/leg combination originally for?
You did the marketing for Suzuki Jimny better than Suzuki themselves. Now i really want this car
Already booked the 5 door version in India.. Excited
Hey guys!
I am Japanese.
Even if you order Jimny in Japan, you have to wait two years.
I have one in blue in UK 👍👍
Serious??
Readily available in jamaica
In Indonesia it's sold out everywhere, some dealer has up to 250 orders, and the wait time is 4 years. I don't get why they don't just shift the production to Indonesia or India where they have a big plant.
And in Japan we get the 660cc version too! 😜
The jimmy is capable of doing something which can be expected from Land Rover, Jeep, land cruiser,
Love to watch the videos.
Even it can do what Mercedes G wagon do....
....brilliant video buddy...you are really promoting this vehicle...
those two inclines looked steep as F.... barely walkable, amazing what can these things do

I love how happy she looked.
Me too! 😂
8:09 Sick! Excellent video. Properly enjoyed every second of it.
Fantastic! I’m so glad it was entertaining and and enjoyable bud!
8:12 - 8:27: Great commercial clip that you could to Suzuki. They could use in a commercial of theirs for this Jimmy.
All jimny owners are doing videos, that really is free advertising to Suzuki, and it's working ... I want it

I can't explain how bad I want a Jimny in the USA.
Give thanks to Consumer Reports and it’s fake campaign over Suzuki.
You would absolutely love it. Jimny and Suzuki bikes....the best.
I want one too. Bring it here
Just tell Suzuki to build a plant in the US. Donald will support it.
Canada as well!

It's gonna be launched pretty soon here in Pakistan, so glad to see your video. It's an amazing vehicle 👌🏻
And now its officially launched in pakistan
U guys have suzuki in pakistan? Aren't u guys having a war there?
this is awesome. the video is underated, should

Better than the new Defender
Wait wait let the new defender come in the market and then give your verdict. For me both are good.
