I've had these for a few days now. Upgraded from Fanatec V3i which I've been using since about 2018. I set up my Invictas in the same way, with brake and clutch inverted and throttle floor mounted. Had to make a custom mount to do this with my TR120. So far I'm absolutely loving them. I was running double green elastomers in thr fanatecs and being a measily 145lbs. The brake throw was modestly less than what I was used to already. I mostly run GT style cars and some LMP here and there these are great for both function and authenticity. So far I've landed in thr softest elastomers in the optional kit (light green), which allow me to hit the 2nd stage without over exerting and calibrating to only 30bar. They are a massive step up. Like... MASSIVE. I spent a good chunk of cash to set these things up the way I'm accustomed, but man has it been worth it.
I however did not like the cheese grater throttle plate. Very subjective. I tend to "reset my right foot on straights and the stick plate kept me from being able to do that ( I wear kart shoes). Borrowed the smooth placental came with the clutch and that works perfectly. I'll oribably need to order the Forte smooth throttle plate innthw future for heel toe though as the small plate isn't long enough.
Anyways, great pedals for race cars, probably not so great if you're wanting an authentic feeling pedal for a wider range of vehicles.

@@simracingden I enjoy what most people don't like, how stiff they are. I am no where near the 100 bar mark (45).

I really wanted to upgrade my fanatec elite v2 for the invicta-s to install on my asr-pro but the thing with these pedals is that all the influencers seems to have good things to say about them but they never keep them on the daily rig.
edit: so i decided to wait and save a little for the actives.

These pedals are either amazing or terrible, depending on your preference. They do exactly what Asetek want them to do, and they do that well, but the brake is barely adjustable at all so if you don't like the feel you are fucked. I hated my set, and had to eat a 20% restock fee to return them. Still glad I did, as my SImgrade VX-Pro pedals are just SO much better.
Stuff I didn't like about the Invictas:
    - Too stiff. I'm a fairly fit guy, I don't skip leg day, and hitting the second stage on these brakes is just unnecessarily tough.
    - Too little travel. There are tonnes of youtube videos from all manner of race cars showing that there is MUCH more travel in a real race car than Asetek are including in these pedals. Combine that with the fact that you don't have any g-forces giving you feedback on your braking pressure in a simrig and you end up with a very dead pedal.
    - Sticky hydraulic piston. If you do any racing where you are using the brakes for balance and not just slamming them in to 100% and trailing off then you will notice that the hydraulic piston has a slight sticky click to it as you go from say 20 to 60 to 20%. Asetek confirmed to me that there was nothing wrong with my set. Once you notice this it is hard to ignore it, and it even shows up on the brake trace.
Save yourself the hassle, get a set of highly adjustable pedals such as the Simgrade VX-Pro's. They can be set up harder than the Invictas if that is your cup of tea, they are smoother thanks to not having any elastomers in them, they have no sticktion in the travel, they are easier to mount, and they are much cheaper. I'm sure other high end load cell pedals will do the same.

Man I’m so conflicted. I got into sim racing just this year. I started with a Moza R5, and now that I’m sufficiently hooked, I’m at the buy once more cry once stage. I’m at the down for the Invicta wheelbase and Forte wheel (I race in VR) but I’m nervous to feel the same way about these pedals… I hear more polarizing great or awful with these pedals over any other pedal set…

Mate, Asetek pedals are great, but they're not the only option. Simagic make a couple of great sets with optional haptic feedback, that's a game changer! Other manufacturers like VRS, Heusinkveld etc make fantastic pedals, and with a tiny bit of work you can add the Simagic haptics to make the best pedals for you 😄

If you desire a pedal that is adjustable and has a real race car feel these pedals are great. I use them for drifting, rally and GT racing. It's all about how you set it up honestly. The spring the the gas pedal could be stiffer off the go but if you use multiple functions it's great!

@@Smokeyr67 yeah I’ve been looking hard at Simagic as well. An Alpha U, formula wheel and their P1000’s sit right around the same numbers. I feel like Asetek probably has the more refined wheelbase and wheel, and I want to love the idea of these pedals but I’m thinking about the P1000’s or the VRS set a lot too.

@@guitartube5822 I've been lucky enough to try the Invicta wheel base, Simagic Alpha and Alpha U and simucube sport, and to be honest if there was a difference I couldn't feel it. Pedals wise I tried the Invicta but only the 2 pedal set, they are nice, Heusinkveld sprints, they where fantastic, and the Simagic P1000s and 2000s. I own the Heusinkveld sprints, but to be honest the P1000s with haptics are overall the best I've used.

ill give you an example from my experience.. i have huesinkveld sprints. i love them.. only beef i have is i wish they were stiffer. that brick wall idea blew my mind how much faster i got and how quickly. i have modded them to be stiff like the asetek ones. (i mostly drive gt3)

They are great pedals, Ive just sold mine invicta pedals and got a set of p1000i, They are way better for me, i know racecars do have hard brakes and all that..
But the asetek are not ment for all kind of racing/ fun driving

I really hope Asetek drops the whole "race cars brakes are stiff" agenda. Multiple examples of huge brake travel ranges available on UA-cam. From GT3 cars to F1. It's a bit ridiculous at this point.
