Yes.... his concerts were always sold out.... Always. Elvis had more command of the stage, the band and the audience than any other entertainer I have ever seen in my 76 years. There will never be another Elvis. The King....
Elvis uses his whole body to direct his band, music runs through him,he cannot help but move when music starts. That is part of hat made him so entertaining.
As someone who’s loved him all of my life it was too young to ever have seen him live, I hope these people know how amazingly lucky they are. He’s been gone for almost all of my 47 yrs. Well, I’ll be 47 on the 2nd of October. I had to settle for impersonators, some much better than others. The new movie will now tell the WORLD what his fans already knew about him, his character, personality, talent and humanity. Everyone deserves love and that’s what he stood for and is what he taught me, growing up soaking in anything about him I could. #BeLikeElvis
His concerts were epic. I went to 2 of them as a kid. When he stepped on stage it was like the building inhaled and didn't exhale till he walked off. It was electrifying. This performance in Vegas was tame compared to his concerts. The audience reaction was too...lol. Unless you watch him live, even on video, you don't understand the charisma of Elvis. Over the radio the emotion in his songs grabbed you. In person, his personality, charm, his emotion and charisma did.
Elvis had some stage presence. No one like him. His humor between his performances was so endearing. Love how some girl passed her number to him,he stops to examine it,and passes it over to one of his band. 😄 That little moment goes over everyone's head. Like, what's he doing reading middle of his singing? 😄 He was always playful. But,he was also gangsta like. He had noooooo problem throwing a punch. He wasn't a bully but he was far from a coward. My dad's first 4 years in a America as an immigrant from Europe was his dream come true seeing Elvis in Madison Square garden. To this day, Elvis' Christmas songs are played in our home.
I went to two of Elvis Concerts both at the same place a year apart. It was Mobile Alabama. It was 1975 and 1976. I was on the USS Lexington CVT- 16 in Pensacola so it was a short drive. He wore two different outfits each concert. A blue and a white one. The sound quality was excellent and he put his all into every song. The women were wild over him. And he would kiss a bunch of them. And throw scarfs to them. It was electric from start to finish. His last number he would knell down unhook a cape that he was wearing with all those jewels and throw it to the women in the crowd. Turn and left the stage and moments later a announcement was made Elvis-has left the building.
There were no tickets. It was an enormous stage in a gigantic room. You had to tip the headwaiter to get near the front. At first, they were afraid no young girls wouldn't show up, so they'd seat us next to the stage.... till the whole world started making the trek to Elvis.
The energy he had to do two shows a night in Las Vegas was amazing. And his 2nd shows were just as energetic and entertaining. A beautiful specimen of a man.
@@marionthompson3365 nope-that was a Colonel Tom Parker Special. “My boy, why do you need to go around the world? We can bring the world to you!” And that’s how the Aloha from Hawaii concert happened.
His voice was awesome but watching him was the greatest. The true King of Rock and Roll. Enjoyed your reaction as part of the “younger generation.” He was and is still one of the greatest entertainers we were fortunate enough to see during his career beginning to the end. RIP😥
Great reaction! The audience for this performance in Las Vegas was Hollywood A-listers. Everyone wanted to see Elvis perform. Some of his dance movements were directing the band/singers.
This man's personality was outta this world. Dadgum, looks, personality, charm, swagger and talent!! Whooooeee 😀 and I Love LOVE your accent ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ great reaction, thank you
Just complete control from beginning to end. Just oozing charisma, with infectious doses and an ability to draw you in to an unobtainable talent and will to entertain. An absolute perfect performer that can generate a totally impromptu performance. No two were ever alike. No movement was ever rehearsed. It was all just naturally gifted and he somehow, gifted back an even larger than imagined product. Who possibly could pull this performance off and make it look as a cool and as relevant and as entertaining to a fan base 51 years later? No one. Only the king.
He was truly one of a kind!!!l So glad we have these videos to watch and listen to Elvis!!! By having these its almost as though hes still with us. He'll live on forever in our hearts and minds.
One of my favorite covers of his! And the original artist/writer Tony Joe White was actually one of Elvis' buddies. The man most definitely had stage presence. The TCB Band (Takin' Care of Business) was one of the best live bands of the 70s. The drummer in this video is my cousin!
He SOLD OUT EVERY Concert from '69-'77!!! He SET ATTENDANCE RECORDS everywhere he played. The BIGGEST, I think, to this date is the '73 Aloha from Hawaii Concert --over 1 billion. No one else has even come close. Then in '75-- 100,000 !!!!!!!
Love your reactions! When Elvis was on stage You Knew you were in the presence of someone great! Another one that shows his voice and feelings is Bridge over Troubled Waters, in his white jump suit.
Great reaction! You are correct, everybody loved Elvis! And he loved his fans! He gave his fans his all in every performance. And we loved him for that! Like I said before if you want to see that charisma at its finest, and something you will never see today check out his live performance of " Love me tender". What he does and the admiration and respect he is shown while doing this says a lot. Thank you for your reaction! I'm enjoying watching your Elvis journey!

My blessed Mother finally got us tickets when I was 21 and even though he had just gotten out of the hospital it was a great show. Biggest thrill of my life and I am 66 now and have seen a lot of great concerts
Idk of another solo artist from the time that had his band, his choir and an orchestra on stage with him. That has to be 30-40 people all in tune with this man and watching him every second. Elvis loved to just extended or change the lyrics in any song he wanted and everybody had to follow along. He was the conductor of his own shows. Amazing person. Check out some gospel. He sang PEACE IN THE VALLEY on one of the old shows, maybe Ed Sullivan around 1957. It's a priceless performance imho ✌🏼✌🏼
I love your reactions, you are so joyful. 😊 Elvis was in a league of his own. Set the trend in everything from dance to hairstyle to sideburns, to attire, and not to mention that magnificent voice. I love his music. From South Africa.

All the songs are my favourites but this one is up there HE JUST HAD THAT SWAG THE ENTERTAINMENT WAS OFF THE RICHTER SCALE AND THE CHARISMA I feel sorry for anyone in the audience who had to go to the BATHROOM OH MY I have started to buy VINTAGE ELVIS VINYL ALBUMS. There is nothing like 50 + years of genuine sound
@Joanne Wheelwright Hello from Slovenia :) It seems that we have a lot in common. I became an Elvis fan when I was 11, and I was 12 when he died. His sudden death was too overwhelming for me. I was heartbroken... He still is my No.1 :)))
@@lechat8533 having watched lots of videos about ELVIS and his ‘backstory’ over the last 8-12 months it was 😞 that he never toured outside 🇺🇸. There are many ‘stories’ why In England we did not have any Coliseum’s, Arena’s or Civic Centres that had capacity of say 5,000 + till around 1981. Wembley Arena We had places that were more intimate like The London Palladium that would seat around 2000 and The Great Room at The Grosvenor House Hotel in central London that again would seat around 2000 Now a Marriott I am sure Elvis would have loved these venues ELVIS could have been shown around London by Tom Jones They would have had a ‘good time’ and plenty of ‘girls, girls, girls and you know what I mean🤩🤩🤩👍 👍 👍 🎤🎤🎤🙏🙏🇬🇧🇬🇧⚡️⚡️🇬🇧🇬🇧⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️❤️❤️❤️
I'm with you! I LOVE all the concert videos. He was an amazing performer. Polk Salad annie is def my fave live performance. This song, Can't help falling in love, and If I can Dream are my favorite Elvis songs!
With Elvis, I definitely say watch any Live version that is available. It's not like that with a lot of other artists, though. Some singers are great in a studio where they can do 100 takes and the best one becomes the record but put them on a stage with a live mic, and they're terrible. But Elvis was great in the studio and live. There's even footage of him in his car and breaking out into song and that's great too.
Mike he recorded a song in 77 in his motel room in Nashville with only a tape recorder and mike. The song has the word blue in the title..cannot recall the full title.
@@margarettaylor8107 You're not talking about Moody Blue, are you? If so, that was recorded in the Jungle Room at Graceland. It's definitely a great song.
@@31Mike I thought of it.It is Indescribably Blue..Sirius radio 24 hr Elvis told that story today. It was in 77 and Rl is was mad for some reason and he recorded it in a motel.

Yes, Elvis Presley SOLD OUT concerts in Las Vegas, NV. My mother (now 82) saw him in 1970 and proclaimed he was "THE BEST" period. Praise from a woman who had also seen Tom Jones, Paul McCartney, The Temptations, Righteous Brothers, Rick Nelson, Dean Martin, etc. Elvis Presley put 120% of himself into every song, literally felt every note of music and connected with his audience in a way very few performers have. Please keep listening (and watching) this phenomenal music artist!
I was good friends with Elvis’s first cousin for years, he grew up with him and was around him daily. He said when Elvis walked into a room, you didn’t have to even see him come in, the hair would stand up on the back of your neck.
Love, love Elvis! He is like no other! Always unique, modern and captivating! His charisma and electrifying performance in Polk Salad Annie only belong to the King! He is fascinating to watch on stage! He exudes so much Energy and sex appeal with his moves only unique To him. A category second to noone! Viva Elvis! Legends never die!🎉❤❤🎉❤❤

The day Elvis died was 2 days before my 12th birthday and i have been a FAN ever since. He is MY HERO. Yes this is a STRONG word to use but ITS TRUE.
All the songs are my favourites but this one is up there
HE JUST HAD THAT SWAG
THE ENTERTAINMENT WAS OFF THE RICHTER SCALE
AND THE CHARISMA
I feel sorry for anyone in the audience who had to go to the BATHROOM OH MY
I have started to buy VINTAGE ELVIS VINYL ALBUMS. There is nothing like 50 + years of genuine sound
@Joanne Wheelwright
Hello from Slovenia :)
It seems that we have a lot in common.
There are many ‘stories’ why
In England we did not have any Coliseum’s, Arena’s or Civic Centres that had capacity of say 5,000 + till around 1981. Wembley Arena
We had places that were more intimate like The London Palladium that would seat around 2000 and The Great Room at The Grosvenor House Hotel in central London that again would seat around 2000
Now a Marriott
I am sure Elvis would have loved these venues
ELVIS could have been shown around London by Tom Jones
They would have had a ‘good time’ and plenty of ‘girls, girls, girls and you know what I mean🤩🤩🤩👍 👍 👍 🎤🎤🎤🙏🙏🇬🇧🇬🇧⚡️⚡️🇬🇧🇬🇧⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️❤️❤️❤️
The King of Music (Rock and Roll, Rhythm and Blues, Country and Gospel and whatever else you could think of) bro 👍💯
I'm with you! I LOVE all the concert videos. He was an amazing performer. Polk Salad annie is def my fave live performance. This song, Can't help falling in love, and If I can Dream are my favorite Elvis songs!
There will never be another! Beautiful man!
ELVIS ON TOP OF HIS GAME
I love this one!......lmao👏🥰 Thanks Adogg for the reactions to Elvis!
The BEST concert ever!
When I used to go see him in concerts…I loved watching him sing this one…he always joked around in it!
@Jeanne Warrenfeltz
You have no idea how much I envy you!!
@@margarettaylor8107 That's interesting, of course today's the one day that I didn't have Elvis radio on because I wasn't in my vehicle. I'll have to see if I can find anything on it.
From this same concert, Love me tender is a must for the audience participation 😏
His concerts were always SOLD OUT !!!
He was the first performer to sell out 4 consecutive concerts in Madison Square Garden . Check out his Aloha From Hawaii concert. It was broadcast mostly live by Via Satellite . It was shown all over the world. It was the first time it was ever done. 1 billion people seen it at one time.
Saw him 3 times. Perfection.
Susan! You should be ashamed of yourself!
You actually saw him 3 times?????? And I`ve never ever even come close. SHAME ON YOU!

HE WAS AMAZING! HE WILL ALWAYS BE THE KING!!!!
He never raised the charge on tickets..highest charge was $17.00 to sit up front.
This was in Las Vegas..and many actors & actresses were there…including Sammy Davis Jr.
Please watch Hawaii 1972 (I think year) it is fantastic…First time Televised around the world by satellite 🛰
Elvis is wearing a jump suit that is total USA 🇺🇸
My mom used to look for Polk around where we lived way back in the day. She loved eating it. Just an instant memory seeing the song name 😂😆
Aint that the truth
The ONE & ONLY - Elvis the KING 👑
