My legs and feet started to move as soon as I heard this tune. Elvis was really awesome. Best looking man I ever seen. His singing can make you cry and dance with joy and laugh. Wunderbar.
So glad you love Elvis and his dancing..He's the best! Saw him live 3x plus went to his house 2x!If you think he's good lookin'...you should have seen him upclose live.....WOW!!!
I can see some of Elvis's influence in Jackson's dance moves. And the way Elvis moved on stage (at least in his early rock'n'roll period) became a defining feature of his persona (along with his voice of course), as was the case with Jackson two or three decades later.
@@sharon8015 Berry had the Duck walk (and it was great) but Elvis basically wrote the whole book on how to perform on stage as a rock artist. As a singer and as superstar. No other person in 20th century popular culture has had the same impact as him, and we should all be very grateful for what it gave us. Ask Lennon and Dylan etc.
Love those movies, and “Love me tender “ was really good , the worst thing to happen to his career is when his manager sighed him to a ten year movie contract. The first four or five, were awesome then they started getting stupid. Elvis hated making the stupid movies, if he was going act, he wanted real roles. Not satire comedy crap! I still watched them cause he as sooo pretty 🤩! Oh by the way, I read that in a book called (This is Elvis)! Great book by the way.
Great reaction! He had the looks, the voice and the moves! That's why he was and will always be an icon. You should watch some of Elvis's movies. He dances and sings in all of them but 1 or 2 of them. You should listen to and react to Suspicious Minds, Polk Salad Annie, Bridge Over Troubled Water so many more. It is like you said a deep rabbit hole. None of the songs you have to choose from are going to disappoint. A bit of trivia, his concert Aloha from Hawaii was the first televised concert broadcast around the world. It was groundbreaking for the 70's. Thank you for your reaction! Liked and watched whole video.
Hi there, it looks like Elvis not only helped bring about rock n roll, but, also had a hand in promoting pole dancing. Another brilliant video and reaction. I'd love to hear "Are you lonesome tonight, and Love me tender" thank you so much for sharing this video xx
This is a scene from the movie Jailhouse Rock, and is a different version of the song than the actual record, but this song was one of Elvis' biggest hits, a world wide #1. This is one of Elvis' five best films, along with King Creole, Loving You, Blue Hawaii & Viva Las Vegas.
Great reaction. These are Elvis' dance moves..He was the greatest e tertainer of all time. Saw him three times in concert. He could sing any type of music.Keep listening you won't be sorry ! !
😂😂😂 Who knew Elvis invented twerking! I love that man. Reverend W. Herbert Brewster said it best. "He was a bundle of energy set to music. And that echo will never die."
Love this man n his music, wish I could have been in this world when he was around so I could have went and seen him! My grandpa seen him n he said he was even better!!!
Yes, Cry Baby Elvis was the Inspiration. MJ also said in a interview when ask where his dancing style came from? He gave three names " Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire and Elvis"!
@@itsallgood4093 Jackson was under the influence of Elvis, no doubt! I did not hear him say that he was inspired by Elvis because he was very jealous of Elvis.
@@rosehoary8906 No singer can compare to Elvis before and after his time, he's the GOAT. He didn't proclaimed himself "king" like Michael, the name was given to him by his fans during one of his concert were fans were carrying a banner that reads, "Elvis, the King" and Elvis said "No I am only a singer, there's only one king and that's Jesus".
If you’re still checking out Elvis and you like his moves, “Got a lot of livin to do” is fun BUT he does it twice in the movie. For some moves, you should watch the one that’s indoors where he’s wearing a jacket. Not the one where is he is outside. His mom is also an extra in the audience in that one
This was Elvis’ 3rd movie, while filming this dance scene, he lost a crown off from one tooth and had to rushed to the hospital for a procedure to have the tooth removed from a lung. BTW he choreographed that dance scene. He was fantastic and completely unforgettable……..
Loved your reaction. I remember being a little girl, watching Elvis movies and having such a crush on him. I knew nothing about boys. I just knew he was special and I couldn't stop looking at him. LOL. Even a 6-yr-old knows when someone has charisma! I look forward to seeing more of your Elvis reactions. If you haven't seen his live performance of "Suspicious Minds," you really need to put it on your list. Which reminds me! You should check out "Treat Her Right" by Tom Jones. He's from Elvis era, but is still around. He's a coach on The Voice UK today, but used to have all the women swoon over him, too, back in the day. Cheers!
I remember a TV variety show called “The Ed Sullivan Show”. When he was booked to be a guest on the show singing & dancing, they refused to film him below the waist because they thought his moves were to vulgar. I’m 68 now and my how times have changed. If you haven’t already, I have to check, please listen to “In The Ghetto” by Elvis. It was a great song & still holds true today.
I was a little kid & saw him on Ed Sullivan. As with the Beatles later on, the world would never be the same. Would love to see you react to “Teddy Bear”. I love that you love The King.
I've seen clips of this performance so many times but never seen the whole thing until now! thank you! He really was a great dancer....I never gave him the credit he deserved for that. Just realized how little I have really seen because it was always fed to us in bits and pieces. So it felt like we were saturated but only selectively so. weird. anyway. wonderful reaction.
Jane H commenting …. I’m enjoying your enthusiastic Reactions to Elvis. For us long-time fans of Elvis, it’s really great to see a new generation appreciating & enjoying Elvis. This is one of my favourite Elvis songs. Dancing came as natural to him as breathing & singing. He was a great dancer, & Michael Jackson would watch these Elvis movies as a child, & he took some of Elvis’ dance movements & incorporated them into his own dance routines. Elvis hardly ever danced in choreographed routines. He wanted to dance as the music spoke to him, without even thinking about the movements, because dancing came so natural to him.
Yessssss my Elvis 😍😍😍😍 thank you for this reaction!👌 one of my favorites from him is Wonder of you live 1970 in Vegas or Just pretend live in Vegas 1970😍🥰🔥 and yes cry baby was definitely Johnny Depp lol great movie

Two very short songs from King Creole you could probably run together are Trouble and Crawfish. Both great songs and the women who sings Crawfish with him has a great voice. Her name is Kitty White.
In the 1950s this was pretty much unprecedented. And Elvis did not like the koreografi they were trying to give him so he talked them into just doing his own thing and in the end they reworked the choreography of the other dancers to match up with what he was doing. He was that revolutionary.
When you think that this was long before you were even born - in the 1950s! Just a decade after WW2! Elvis broke the mould and has never been equaled ❤
Those moves almost got him booted off of his first live TV appearance. They shot him from the waist up to avoid showing his "inappropriate" hip movements.
WHO ALL HIT THAT LIKE BUTTON AND WATCHED THE ENTIRE VIDEO?
You know I did! lol I love that I can see the Joy on your face reacting to new music. It’s written all over your face! Thank you for this

They didn't call him Elvis 'the pelvis' for nothing! LOL. Love from Kentucky ❤
"Those ain't tactics, honey. It's just the beast in me." Dear Lord! That scene is worth a rewatch.
My favorite scene from any of his movies . My daughter and I rewind and watch it over and over.......
Sexiest scene in the movie! Sighs!
my favorite Elvis movie saying ever
Elvis once said he just moved to the music he felt it. The G.O.A.T
Everything combined in one person!!!
ELVIS was a natural dancer! Simply perfect! I saw this Video many times and i love it! You are a very nice guy! Thank you!

Listen to Today, Tomorrow and forever ! It's a beautiful song!!
This is 64 years old. I’m 61. My mom wouldn’t let me watch Elvis. Haha…. So tame by today’s standards…. But he was a talent. Loved it.

He is dreamy! 🥰
He was the bomb !
Elvis always been my favorite. He choreographed this
Elvis was only 22 here. His talents were incredible. Have you reacted to Bosa Nova Baby or Return to Sender?
love Elvis 💜💜💕💕
This is by some, considered the first music video. The King!
wonderful dancer.
Just just so you know Michael Jackson idolized Elvis and really studied his dance moves
I didn't know that he studied his move but I've always said Michael got his dance moves from Elvis
That's where Mike got the tip top hold from

Little Sister is one my favorites by Elvis.
Elvis coordinated this scene. He knew how the dance sequence should be. Boy the man can dance as well as sing.

Love your reaction!!! Elvis was the greatest performer of all time IMO, Love & respect from TN
So easy on the eyes. He was also a kind and generous man. He didn't look at skin color. He looked at the heart
