A little tip, practice dragging the rear brake. NEVER EVER touch the front brake at low speeds, only the rear brake. It stabilizes the bike and makes it much, much easier to maneuver at low speeds. The front brake will make you tip the bike over. Counter lean in low speeds, lean in at high speeds :)
@@Kelsey.390 You are welcome! 😊 I hope you get to have a lot of fun riding! I myself don’t own a bike, I’m too scared I’ll get myself into trouble haha. But I’ve watched videos and had a few biker friends in the past and from what they told me it’s just so liberating and fun to ride out and just take it all in. I’m sure it’ll be a lot of fun! 👍 Enjoy. By the way new subscriber here! You earned it. Hoping to see your channel grow!
Motorcycle licenses in the US let you ride anything considered a motorcycle, no size limit. Most people that actually get their license take a MSF course that goes classroom, written test, practice riding then road test to get you your license over a weekend but you don't have to take the course and can just do it through the DMV. I think some states require the MSF or similar course if you want to get your license under a certain age though.
@@smokeystriperDifferent here in Germany. We have to take at least 10 driving lessons with an instructor. Plus some theoretical lessons. And we have to pass a theoretical and a practical test. Very expensive to get a licence here. Costs about 1000 to 1500 Euros 😪
I was wondering the same thing. In NJ the permit only lets us ride with a licensed rider on their own bike. We can't ride alone on just the permit. You also can't register your own bike until you get your license, so you have to borrow someone's bike and they have to come with you to the test. Even if you bought a bike and trailered it to the test site, they won't let you use it for the test if it's not registered and insured which you can't do until you have your license. lol I paid a guy to show up to my test site with a scooter (they are considered motorcycles here) for me to take my test on.
depends on the state... no learners permit when I did it in Tennessee. If you want to take the test that way, someone else has to get the bike there legally. Its easiest to take a MSF course like I did, and they do the test, then when I went to get my license, I just gave them the MSF certificate and done... no more test.

This is what a qualified instructor would have taught her for sure
Congratulations!
Why did you have to tell the truck to move? lol If it's their site shouldn't they have been the ones to go tell the guy to move?
Let’s goooo number 300!!
Also congratulations!
Thank you!!! You rock
You left him hanging at 4:07!

Tip for the next time you want to do a "figure 8". DON'T!!! Instead, do 2 consecutive (back to back ) "U" turns in opposite directions.
So do a figure 8 lol😅
@@cheaterfeet331 that's what I said. Just have to change the mindset a little bit to a less difficult thing.
what state is this? that test was so weird.
PA!
this is scary how easy it is.
What do you mean... it's a bike..
You are allowed to ride your bike to the license test? On public roads without a motorcycle license? That's funny ;-)
Enjoy your bike
Ahaha yeah once you have a permit you can ride! It’s weird compared to car rules
