Agreed. Most of the Exotics don't feel very exotic. You can only use one, and there aren't many that make it worth taking up that slot. I honestly don't think Gjallarhorn is going to be nerfed. There will be a serious outcry if it is. I've never seen a single person complain that Gjallarhorn is OP. Probably because nobody really uses it in PvP. Truth is better for that.

It would make sense if only they were hard to get :P, with how little effort it takes some people to get them through RNG the lower tier exotics are somewhat equal to the investment you make to get them. Still I wouldn't want Gjalahorn to get nerfed even though I don't personally have it. I wish getting exotics would involve a bit more difficult tasks sorta similar to the Thorn bounty or what seems like it's going to be really hard The Fate of All Fools bounty with the Trials of Osiris.

You should do a tier list for some of the legendary weapons
They shouldn't nerf Gjallarhorn, i personally have rarely killed someone in PvP with just wolfpack rounds (i'll chalk it up to bad luck), and to be honest in both PvE and PvP Gjallarhorn is nothing without wolfpack rounds and nerfing it might just make it obsolete in my opinion.
and Pocket infinity shouldn't be bumped up because i don't think it takes any skill to use, all you have to do is pull the trigger and watch the world burn, you don't have to pull the trigger again until the you reload.
Will you be doing this for legendaries as well?
Hey Datto you should do a similar list for legendaries...exept just make it a top 3 per weapon type, pve and pvp.
you should do a Taken King tier list. Mainly because of all the new weapons and because of all the changes to all other weapons.

I really want No Land Beyond to be good. I just don't know how. No matter how you change it there's not a very good chance that it'll be much better than most other exotics. I enjoyed the video Datto; it's nice to hear your opinions :) Keep up the great work! :D
What if it was a one shot in pvp. If they added a elemental damage to the weapon and allowed it to switch between primary and special. Then it would be an exotic. Not a very good one but at least it would be decent
Nahom Fikadu One shot? That would be way too broken. They just need to remove the ADS weapon sway, maybe change the sights, increase fire rate, and increase reserve size.

*New player* So I got a Coiled Hiss 1919 legendary I think it's a scout rifle, but I noticed it's got a symbol on top right that means you can upgrade it right? If so how and if not what is it for. Also should I buy dlc? Will it be worth it in the long run I personally enjoy the game, but am not sure if it's worth it at the momment. Also any tips on what I should do to increase level (reached 20 already). Thanks for your help.

The Red Death is amazing, after you get a kill you regen health and reload super fast, which can be very useful when there's more than one enemy or another enemy is coming to you.
i see a lot of ppl that use non-upgraded suros' in pvp, is it really that much better without the slow fire rate?
I kinda like Hard Light. The stability buff in the exotic balance patch make perfect balance definitely a choice and not a requirement, and with field scout you can definitely sneak a triple kill out of a magazine if the planets align properly. I'd bump it up a bit.
Can you do a exotic armor tier list?
The weapons we get in the raid are they random drops or is there a way to get them.

I think UR should be higher on the list for the utility of being able to run one of the best pvp shotguns with a sniper rifle. the UR/PR combo is a lethal one.
I disagree about Vex and UR. Vex is A-tier at best. Sure it's good at close range, but so is ANY Fusion rifle and other FR's kill even faster while still allowing you to have a versatile and reliable primary.
Universal Remote is just brokenly good in PvP if you know how to aim. The only thing holding it back from S-tier is the fact that it takes up a primary slot.

I'm really upset with what they did with Red Death. Before the stat changes, Red Death was the only weapon I used in PvP. Now it's just collecting dust in my vault :

So here I am watching this old video and I just got the comedian shotgun this morning. Then dismantled it about 30 mins before watching this. I said that because I'm curious why you said that you couldn't get it anymore lol. I think I got mine ranking up the gunsmith with my warlock. My favorite legendary shotgun right now is my last ditch 001 from dead orbit with smallbore, handloaded, and of course full auto.
I play a ton of Destiny PvE stuff but I have never played PvP. I am kind of getting bored of the PvE and need to take a break and was thinking of playing PvP. However, when I play PvP games I expect them to be balanced and I don't want to play a PvP game where whoever has the better gun wins. When I kill someone I want to know that it was because I was the better player not because I had a better gun. So my question is, how big of a difference does having a specific gun make? Can I win with just any gun or do I have to use S class guns to have a chance?
Not entirely because even S-Tier guns can be outplayed by a good player and the new patches make certain weapons shine

I hope Xur has thunderlord tomorrow. When I got ruin wings on my Titan my heavy essentially turned into my primary.
I agree with everything except the thunderlord rating. It is definitely S tier in the crucible. It is the only MG that doesn't have any trade offs. Fast ROF, great impact, good range, amazing stability, fast reload speed, and great clip size. Switch to field scout before you pick up heavy ammo and then switch back to perfect balance and you'll have a monster MG. Even better if you have heavy ammo perks. I've gone on multiple 15+ killstreaks with this beast.
I argue for red death to return to normal and maybe buff the regenerate health to be faster and maybe a slight recoil reduction (like no higher than 5%)
What's with the 4th horseman hate? I get that it's range is crap but it can be fixed with options in the tree. I have used it many a time in pvp and it's great for skirmish and rumble. I will conceded that it's not as good in other game modes but other whys it's good. I think it should be ranked at least a B and maybe a B+
I pretty much agree with all the weapons here.
Put the 4th horseman feels awesome to me. It lacks range for sure. But if you are running high speed and can get up close really quick. It owns. Even the reload speed feels better then invective to me. It just feels so powerful. I enjoy 4th horseman a lot in pvp.

You can one shot people with any fusion rifle, which is why Pocket Infinity doesn't really appeal as much in PvP. Pretty good at killing majors though.

Hmm...
- You can blast people out of Radiance/Arc Blade if you're aim is good enough.
- You can "snipe" with it easily because you're pumping out multiple shots per second.
- You don't have to perfectly land the first shot. You can literally run around a corner shooting and still kill someone.
I can tell you this much: A good Pocket Infinity user is more dangerous than a good Plan C user.

I've actually started running Monte Carlo in PVP and I've been out gunning people using SUROUS, this could just be that they are terrible players. I've noticed that's lethal when you can consistently land head shots it melts people. It was the first exotic weapon I found so I used it a lot before they buffed it and it has become a lots better. The only guns I find myself losing a gun fight badly to is hawkmoon, throne (because of DoT) and the last word.
i would've moved up no land beyond just because of the fun factor and if your a sniper from any other games like cod or halo its pretty decent

Bad juju and Pocket infinity are godlike. They compensate really well. Along with hard light. I believe they should be all at least A+. String of curses's instant reload along with the super can be pretty overpowered. Also, the pocket infinity ability is its best when used with the six round mag. Hard light can be upgraded to such a good stability that it dominates skirmish and rumble. Lastly, IB can be an S-Tier weapon in most opinions because it regenerates, does a bodily explosion and does a damage type. Low RoF? Ok, your point? If your sniping, the RoF shouldn't matter. A headshot should be ideal. Not a couple of body shots.
Why have I never played skyshock? Yes I have DLC and play control on DB playlist most of the time when I pvp

I agree with most of this except Hardlight I find even without fitted stock I feel the recoil is very controllable and at medium ranges this gun outclasses The Last Word very easily as long as u hit your shots having 40 shots per mag allows u to mis a few shots and still have enough to kill an entire team their are many better weapons yes but if i have to chose between a Hardlight Monte Carlo or Suros Regime I would pick hardlight because in my opinion I feel it is more versatile a weapon while Suros may outclass it at range anywhere from just shy of medium or closer I feel hardlight is better because u don't have to ADS to be deadly(even u upgraded Suros falls extremely short at non adsing because it's fire rate isn't all that good too begin with most of this is from personal experience(yes I have killed many suros users with the hardlight ) I won't deny this is all fact but if u are accurate(and on the good side of connection) I think hardlight is more viable than Suros

Datto, the Monte Carlo's upgrade is far better than you may believe. If a player has an Intilledt/Discipline build on their armor with 0 strength, then Monte Carlo is perfect. With this weapon, there is no need to have any Strength specs on your character because it refills your Melee so quickly that it's not necessary to have Strength.
I suggest you try an Intilledt/Discipline build on your armor and use the Monte Carlo to pick up the slack on your Strength. You will definitely see how well this weapon preforms then.
Even so there are better auto rifles out there that arent high rate of fire and low impact
That may be fine for pve and certain subclasses in pvp, but its not as well rounded as Suros, and even gets owned by legendary AR's in PvP too.
I love Universal Remote but it is very much for funsies rather than serious. I do so much better with Thorn but there is something ejoyable about being that Blink Shotgun Warlock that this weapon enables me to be without having to be inside your colon.

Sunsinger, because you can revive yourself which is very effective when doing raids etc.
ImVertyz Hell no! Fireborn and gift of the sun are the only good perks a sunsinger has. Nova bomb is so much better than radiance. A Sunsinger is meant to be a support character but it is so bad at being one while Voidwalker is more dps which it does great.The only time i ever switch to sunsinger is for, solar burn with non vex enemies and solo pve.
Warlocks are valued in the raid currently because they can cheese multiple parts. However, Hunters have a lot of utility if you're actually playing the game ;). Blade dancer is great for lanterns and first bridge, while gunslinger is very effective for death singer and Crota.
Of course Sunsinger can be better for both PvP and PvE but it all depends on your playstyle, if you love to rush then go Voidwalker but if you like playing on the defensive then go Sunsinger and I would say that a good Warlock would be slightly better than an average Hunter in PvP
The only exotic I went for in PvP was red death it has some good range until I got hawkmoon
I think they should cycle between the new and old crucible and vanguard weapons

What is everyone hoping for from Xur? I would love a Gjallarhorn, although honestly any exotic that I don't have would make me happy. Problem is, I have more than half of the exotics so it's more likely that I'll have what he's selling than I won't.
Pulse rifles in general need a buff, I would love to see them get some more impact. Also mida could get some more impact too.
I don't really use rocket launchers in pvp but you atleast picked the strongest 2 , them s tier weapons were all solid picks even though I personally can't stand fusion rifles
Deej said that the jellyhorn is never gonna be nerfed just b/c of how much a hunted gun it is for people who still need it (including myself) and it will be the ultimate reward or something like that. In all its not gonna be nerfed or buffed its gonna remain the freaking same.

I think Pocket Infinity is the best weapon in the game. If I get killed by someone using Plan C while I'm using Pocket Infinity, then I did something really wrong.
Please stop saying in your vids that the gjhallarhorn is going to be nerfed. "Thesy can hear you" :-) its my favorit exotic and i dont want it to be nerfed like the vex-shitoclast. otherwise i realy enjoy watching your vids and i realy

i love my hard light exotic.... fast reload and fire rate, plus high impact for an AR. just throw on the stabilty upgrade 'perfect balance' i think its called.
I had a game where I had 38 kills, all thanks to Universal Remote. While it may not be a weapon that you can just pick and use like pro it's fantastic on any close range room. I beat other shotgunners around 90% of the time. On some maps it's terrible, buts that's true for most exotics. This is not a novelty weapon, it's extremely competitive and deserves to be at a higher rank.
i'd rank pocket infinity higher because in the right hands, this gun destroys everything at close to mid range.
ALL Exotic's need to buffed. They should feel powerful in general, borderline OP in the hands of a skilled user. When Legendary weapons are more viable options (discounting Raid items), that tells you what needs fixing.
monte carlo and hardlight fall into the 88 fire rate 8 impact autorifle. The problem is all autorifles in this rating are mediocre at best. I say lower firerate to 85 increase impact to 12 or 16. That way it can be a middle of the road autorifle.
Bad Juju DOES DESERVE a better rank. It is my goto PVP gun if I'm pissed off. You can kill people very easily if you land 3 bursts. And when you get that kill, boom new fresh mag without reloading.
The point is, try it in mid-range and get those headshots! You might have a blast like me!

It's funny because I rarely blink with a shotgun :P and I use the Invective a lot
You are giving hawkmoon too much credit, it can be easily replace by devil you know (not in the store anymore) or any other legendary or rare handcannon.
Gallonhorn is okay in pvp but can be replace easily with other heavy weapon or more useful exotic weapon.
Hawkmoon is the best Handcannon in the game

Hawkmoon is 2 headshots or some times 1 head one body or 2 bodyshots
Fire Power thorn two shot and devil you know two shot ect.
Zero yeah but Hawkmoon does more damage with the extra 3 big bullets
And has a bigger mag
