Man, everyone is riding the Established Titles is a scam train! But honestly, it's a good thing, warnings about scams need to be put on blast. Thank you very much sir. Love the snazzy 'stache.
More people have promoted established titles than those who called them out. Which "train" would you choose?
I had a feeling established titles was a scam. It makes no sense. And I’m husband asked can you build anything on that piece of land that I would supposedly buy. I was like yeah that’s a great question i dough it. It just sounds so sus. Love the ice berg. ❤❤❤😊😊😊
It'd be good for more people to ride it, to warn specially about that company and it's other fail ventures... And to cancel the 8$ monthly plant a tree pledge that established titles has autochecked by default on checkout (when the charities involved charge 25 cents to a dollar per tree), so people know to cancel / get a refund.
From the very beginning I felt it was a scam geared specifically for Americans because let’s be honest who would really think 1 foot of land would make you a lord or lady other than a stupid American?

Also, I'd say from looking into it, some thought it made them lords, but others more thought it gave them the legal right to use the title Lord/Lady that they'd otherwise not have (which course neither was the true).

I'd argue our mental health system is a scam. Even cancer treatment is little bit of a scam as well. 70 percent of our illness are due to our lifestyle and we can prevent. Even the way you train is wrong. It's not meant for health. It's not just NFTs.

those roblox scams sound, like, almost exactly like two different kinds of scams you'd see on Animal Jam. The 'Rarest Rare Contest' scam where someone pretends to hold a contest where you send them rare items and they give a prize to the person with the rarest, and the 'I Reject All Trades' scam. Wild.

I've got to agree with you on the iShowSpeed comment. I just don't think screaming and raging is always a good form of comedy. Sure, it can be ocassionally, but it gets old very very quickly, because after it's done so much, it's almost like an act. I agree with you. This was a well made video! As far as the established titles thing goes, I feel like it's a bit less black and white.
As far as I'm aware, the charity thing is 100% confirmed to be true. Many UA-camrs have been provided with literal receipts, and the confusion comes in because they both preserve existing forest and donate money to plant new trees, which made it seem as if the tree planting was taking place in already existing forests which is not the case.
The lordship claims are also a bit weird, because I think the company itself makes it clear that this is a novelty gift with no legal basis, but I think there is an argument to be made that they didn't the incentivize people from framing it as such in their advertisements.
I think it's the last that established titles is a scam, and more their marketing and legal department didn't do their due diligence. That being said, I think the original uploader mostly just wanted to name and shame UA-camrs rather than try to expose an actual scam.
It certainly complicated.

i feel like name shaming was both really good for calling attention to his video and making sure there is a public record of everyone who is sponsored by them so that theyre forced to pull the sponsor or have to publicly defend them.

Referring to DoubleBox’s Exit Scam, it may appear people are really gullible to send in their high value items, but there’s a tradition in the trading community for people to “rent” or borrow items like that, a lot of people are surprisingly very trusting.
Another great video! That paradox thing was hilarious to see him get called out and that fake Ronaldo 😂 That whole situation is a rabbit hole with how that guy threatens to kick guys teeth in.

Just like others, i always thought established title is a novelty sort of gag gift..like ooh look at this plaque saying im a lord and their main thing was planting trees
as a scotsperson, I always found the whole established titles thing really sketchy. not only that they were essentially just selling plaques, but because they lied about planting trees around Scotland to sustain the Scottish wilderness. as someone who is very proud of my country's natural beauty (at least in rural areas away from main cities and towns lol) I find it pretty offensive that they lied about that sort of thing.
still, I'm glad the scam has been exposed now and I hope all the creators who have been sponsored will denounce their involvement and remove any links from their video descriptions. would be nice.

Most of the world calls it football because that’s its name. You’re one of the only people that call it something different and call your own sport football. Which let’s be honest American football is like someone watched rugby or Australian football and didn’t understand the games at all. And was absolutely terrified of getting hurt so forced everyone to wear more armour than they wore during medieval England while jousting. It also seems like he got boxing mixed up in there at some point, literally the only way to explain the lightning rounds, mouth guards and jockstraps (something I’ve only ever heard of in reference to American football.) BTW this is a common opinion, I’m not alone 🤣

I S2G, everyone who thought it was anything other than a novelty title is dumb. I actually have one, my husband as well because we got them for our wedding (in costume at the RenFest ground, got it so we could jokingly be introduced as Laird and Lady) but from the company that actually started this and actually DOES do good with the money; Scottish Laird. The money for "your" plot goes to the restoration of Castle Dunan. They're very clear the title isn't legal and you have no rights over the plot, but they DO plane a tree and they keep you updated on their progress and plans for restoration. It also gives you rights to wear the Dunan's Rising Tartan. I've seen proposed blueprints, repair progress, and grounds photos. They also stage tours for you to physically go visit "your" plot and stay in the groundskeeper's cottage. If this was a gift you wanted to give someone or get yourself, I highly recommend them. I got ours pre-2015 and still get regular updates so I know the money is going to good things.

I'm actually really surprised that more people didn't realize that established titles was a novelty thing. I remember back whenever I was a kid someone bought a star and named it after me and even then I understood that if space travel were to be a thing I could not legally claim that star and it's solar system as mine it was just a novelty thing, but I feel like the part that even I didn't expect that is kind of what makes this really screwed up is the fact that they're not doing the tree planting efforts that they promised. Like it's one thing to try to fool foreigners or Americans into thinking that they can get a title by doing this (even though I believe you can change your title pretty easily legally in the majority of States just by going to a courthouse and paying a fee) but to claim that you're doing actual environmental work and that you're working with you know tree planting societies and efforts and other charities and not actually following through on that is really really crummy.

Can someone please explain how thumbnails can be scammed? But I like that he wasn't attacking all the creators that were unaware of Established Titles, but instead Schaffer lists these creators so those who used these creators' codes can be aware of the situation. But part of me figured it was the same novelty gift like when you buy a star or are "sponsoring" a specific endangered animal or sick child from a developing country. But the more I see Roblox stuff, as my 33 year old geriatric ass is in the "hello fellow kids" mode, I'm just waiting for the FortBlox Sims expansion. Personal experiences? How come some people choose to weigh 1000 (I am overweight asking this). I legit want to understand the mindset and life circumstances that lead to it. Do they have no diabetes? I am probably 60lbs overweight and I have diabetes.
I have major depression and I binge sometimes, but isn't it kind of scary to get there? I have a great fear of being immobile. Did these people maybe get waited on growing up instead of doing much for themselves?
I also have a degree in psychology so this subject is something I truly want to learn about with zero distain or judgment towards them.
I feel bad for them and if you think about it, they're kind of like objects to make other people feel better about their weight.
