    Thanks for all these reviews.
I've only thrown about 1000 darts so far, so about 335 rounds.
I just got in some Robson Flights and were checking them out playing against DartBot.
I had to come in here and tell you I hit my second lifetime 180 just now lol.
BOOM! My odds seem to be about 1 in every 160 rounds.
I'm looking to purchase your top five favorites if possible as some of them are discontinued.
    Keep up the Great Work!

I recently switched to condors from the traditional system and i really like them but the price is steep. Just wish the companies would put designs on the flight itself instead of leaving them a solid color. That’s the only thing i miss about my traditional setup

I recently switched to Condor Axe's myself. Love them. I think the price will balance out with there longevity. tossed over 10k darts with them so far and there barely nicked up. With the regular aluminum shafts and poly flight I used to use, easily would have went threw a few sets of each by now

I can't believe this video is from a year ago but I am going to comment on it anyways. I recently bought some Winmau stealth flights and stems, although I really like the way they look they certainly are not for my throw. I use Red Dragon Javelin 20 gram darts. Every time I throw with the Winmau Stealth Flights my darts go into the board tail down. Way down. Even when I put the flights on my One80 Ice Dragon 26 gram darts the tail points down. So far my favourite flight system is the Cosmo Fit Flights. I am working my way through the different brands like the Harrows Clik system and the K Flex ones. I have a ways to go but the Cosmo Fit Flights seem to work the best for me. In over a year of play with them I have only broken one stem and changed a couple of flights due to wear and tear. Another great review WW.

Killer intro! Before switching to punched flights and nylon stems, I used the 8 flight spin system (I know, I know) with my soft tip darts. I liked them because they were light, one thing drove me up the wall though. See how the stem isn’t threaded down the whole length? When you add an o-ring and tighten it down, it causes the stem to lean off center.

Thanks Zolto! Maybe try some kitchen cling wrap or something other than an o-ring.

Great review as always. For me personally after seeing this I wouldn’t try either setup. I don’t like the aspect of thread on flights even though they worked well for you. The price point is too high and I would expect the fins to rip at the bottom. The Winmau setup looked nicer with the built in point protector but the weight issue totally turned me off. I currently use Cosmo fixed shafts and Air Flights. I also use nylon stems with standard folding flights. Some of my sets have Aluminum shafts with folding flights. The Aluminum shafts work OK but cannot handle a Robin Hood without getting destroyed. They can also bend.

I'm a Cosmo Fit Pro guy myself... and I love them... They hold up to a lot of abuse... and only through pure luck, did I actually robin hood my flights. It was crazy! But overall... I like them a lot!

I've been using cosmo fit flight airs for the last 4 months on my Sabotage Onyx 21 match darts and they still perform great. intermediate stem and shape 5 flight (the kite equivalent).
I also went for the freeflo points to limit the wear and tear and it seems to work.
As for the price point let me put it this way, in 4 months I used to go through several sets of normal stems and flights, no matter what brand, o'rings, pierced, carbon, you name it.
A robin hood, a pierced flight or a broken stem on a match when you try to group them tight is always a bummer and ruins the flow. That's what you save with that kind of sets, your nerves...
Anyway, as always love the content WWD!

I’ve acquired 4 x sets of these with some Winmau Fusion and Condors. 3 x throw I hit a 180 and like the way they went in, I agree that the speed they go in isn’t great but they are smooth and precise. Thanks for your video and a different opinion. BTW love your throw, I would call it the gunslinger…….

It seems a combination of the 2 would be a winner if only the WSS had thinner less chunky fins on the flights it would easily be better the the 8FS.
Cheaper Price/Assembles together better/appears more durable.
I’m interested to see if the 8FS break
Or you get used to throwing the WSS over a short period of time.
    Fascinating review

I am 💯 percent sold on Target Pro Grip EVOs. Ring grip aluminum varing base with fixed length nylon tops with locking shaft flight rings to secure your dart flights! Come in various colors that don't break the bank. They come in short, intermediate and medium shaft lengths. They come in gold/black combo, all black, red, blue, green and silver/white combo. Once the base is purchased in a full shaft set the tops are available in packs of 9 tops. Three aluminum base lengths with fixed top lengths combine to give you the three shaft lengths. You can mix the color tops with the base color to provide great shaft color combinations. The part of the shaft that gets damaged during use is replaceable. This system doesn't break the bank and gives added grip area to the overall dart! I use these shafts with mostly Harrows Velo Flights which provide for a somewhat fast flying dart with a good flexible flight for overall great performance! I'm a rear dart gripper which fits perfectly for my throw!! IMO great price to performance option!!

I used the 8 Flights for about a year. I noticed they were so soft that I was getting weird "bounce-offs" on my softer throws. (Heck, the 8 Flights actually helped me to throw firmer darts!) But in the end, it was the COST that turned me off. Keeping different lengths of shafts (in different colors) as well as different flight shapes (in different colors) was ridiculously expensive! I mean, shafts still snapped and flights did rip at base/get chewed up edges after all.
It's also worth noting that the clear 8 Flight flights are made of a different plastic, much stiffer, less likely to rip but more likely to crack.
I'm back to cheap Harrows SuperGrips and folded flights that I just consider disposable.

May want to give condor axes a go.. ya there pricey but really durable. thrown over 10k darts with them and there barely nicked up. Robin Hoods are pretty much impossible, bad deflections are way down. If I was using my old Alum. shafts and poly flights would have gone threw a few sets of each by now easy. Have a hard time to say anything bad about them.

I have never became friends with any type of moulded plastic flights. Maybe it's a psychological thing more than anything, but I feel that there is more drag during flight than with standard nylon/fabric flights. I love both the look and application of my Robson flights, but I don't like how those things fly through the air.

    • @WorldwideDarts
      @WorldwideDarts  2 роки тому +1

I think you can tell the quality (performance wise) of these systems by how many pro players use them. The only player I can think of that uses 8 flights is Luke Littler, and that's partially down to sponsorship. I think Willie Borland and Nathan Rafferty use the Stealth system, and as you said Peter Wright has used it occasionally.
The number of pros that use L-Style or Condor is far higher which must mean they perform more favourably. Probably comes down to weight cos I believe L-Style and Condor are comparable to a normal stem and folded flight, whereas these seem a little heavier (much heavier in the Stealth system's case).

Think the target 8-flights are the worst out of all the flights/stem systems out there. Ripping way too easily. The harrows clic look pretty much the same but lasting way longer due to the better set-up between flight and stem.
The stealth are too heavy, but work so well with lighter darts. I use them on my 12g buntings and 14g hankeys.
