What a great video 👏🏻 Very interesting for me personally, because i throw 21g or lighter darts. So definitely worth taking a closer look to some of those darts 👍🏻
great video again :) you were talking about your unusual way of throwing as a result of dartitis, was wondering if you could make a video about dartitis and how you developed your throw.
I've probably got 30-40 sets from 16g-26g and costing from $30 to $110, and you're absolutely correct...cost isn't a factor. I throw exactly the same, no matter the cost...like shit. Of course, I'm only being half-serious (my throw has been garbage for almost a year now), but I still only go back to certain sets to play matches with. The best throwing set I've ever had was purchased in the 80s. 25g Piranhas, and I played with them until a year ago when I got mad at the way I was playing and actually broke one of the barrels. Wish I could find a replacement. My 2nd best are the Harrows 22g Spina, followed by a set of Shot!'s Tribal Weapon 4, Harrows Predator 24g, then my Target Agoras at 18 g. All over the place, I know.
Piranha's are one of those grossly overpriced American darts. Very basic and tons of knurl. Don't get me wrong, they're nice darts but they come with the typical American dart price tag. I'll take a guess and say that hopefully you've discovered UK dart shops and some of the brands they carry? My new favorite brand are the KOTO's from Dartshopper. Super nice darts starting in the $30 range up to $40. As nice as anything else I've seen on the market. Over on Darts Corner they have a ton of Designa darts that replicate the Piranha line and best of all they cost in the $20 to $30 range. There's such a huge selection from the UK shops that it's a bit overwhelming to be honest. So much to pick from
@@WorldwideDarts oh, you're absolutely correct, and all I bought, for years, were those, Great Whites, etc. (never got the whole hammerhead thing) Then I discovered Perfectdarts, and then darts corner and the rest (thanks to this channel and darts review channel). All three have many great ranges and some of the cheapest darts.
@@WorldwideDarts Now that I've thought about it, the Dark Thunder range, the Spectre and a number of others by Designa are not only the cheapest, but, honestly, as good or better than any other range on the market. Thanks for the comment Eric. I think the RD 4 packs are a thing of the past. I had a theory on them and I think I was spot on. I believe that Nodor was trying to raise a bunch of cash for the MvG signing last year so for 6-8 prior to that they were selling off 10's of 1000's of old stock darts at a VERY affordable price. They then used that money to buy Michael van Gerwen. By the way, in case you didn't know, Nodor owns Winmau and Red Dragon so they're basically all the same company. MvG's paychecks come from Nodor.
@@WorldwideDarts yeah I knew it was all Nodor, makes total sense though, got more invested into darts after those deals went up I think, that’s a shame but hey, won’t stop me from loving the game and buying darts lol.

So now im looking for a Chris Thompson dart haha but they are hard to find. Do you have another dart you can reccomend that gives that has that 'dense' feeling?
Hmm. There's been a couple that I can think of. Surprisingly one of them is the Unicorn Harry Ward darts. They certainly have a dense feeling to them. Also the only Unicorn dart I own. A few One80 darts have felt the same way too. The most affordable dart with that feeling are the V180 James Richardson darts at Darts Corner. Around $20usd and 23g.
