Extremely disappointing. Men from the scandal should be avoided like the plague. They showed what kind of people they are and that shouldn’t be forgotten. I'm not excusing what he did. I am truly disgusted. My question is for how long should he or a person pay for their mistakes? Is redemption ever a possibility? And it involved sex trafficking, non-consenting sex. There were different chatrooms where videos, and pictures would be posted. The people in those chatrooms would often comment disturbing things. There were videos and pictures of unconscious women being taken advantage of. Now Burning Sun is the name of a club, where a lot of this stuff was happening. Everyone in the chatrooms, and the CEOs who had shares in Burning Sun, were implicated. There are some screenshots of some chatrooms online that are translated as well. Not everyone involved in this case saw repercussions, and some are even making their way back into the entertainment industry.

In the face of opression, if you choose to remain silent or "neutral", then you have chosen the side of oppressor. Period. Same rule applies when you witness crimes or bullying or in this case specifically SA. I don't think she was ever doing well. I'm not disappointed in her because she's an idol, she gets paid to entertain, not to be perfect. Everyone in the chatrooms, and the CEOs who had shares in Burning Sun, were implicated.
There are some screenshots of some chatrooms online that are translated as well.
Not everyone involved in this case saw repercussions, and some are even making their way back into the entertainment industry.

This quote has been stuck in my head because it's actually true. If you put it in a situation, it actually make sense. Being "neutral" about something like this is just benefiting the suspects and not the victims. He's not even being neutral, he said that he "thought" that it wasn't a big deal. How is r*pe videos not a big deal? He knew and didn't said anything. He's an accomplice.

Watching a video of a woman get SA’d and not reporting it makes you complicit. He has no moral compass, the fact that he turned a blind eye on a such a horrific thing says so much about what kind of person he is and I can understand why her fans are disappointed. It’s our duty to report a crime if we witness it, he didn’t and thought it was no big deal… as a woman how do you look past that? Specially when you sing about feminist causes? Isn’t that hypocritical?

What worries me is that there's a possibility that Hyuna is in a vulnerable situation and she's being used or manipulated (to explain myself: Hyuna has always being known for her close relationships with her fans and how she listen to them when they have opinions, and in this situation she seems "blinded").
It should also be remembered that Hyuna has been in this industry for many years, since she was a kid and the reality she have experienced on first hand, all the hate we can't imagine, mistreated for a company when she was the biggest artist and one making the money for them, she even had abortion and pregnancy gossip, which brings to her more hate, living and hearing negative thoughts ALL THE TIME, i can imagine that there's a big possibility that she has already normalized so many negative things.
Like, she possibly have and believes another version of what her "new boyfriend" is like; they were from the same company, same kpop era, they were friends long before their relationship and who knows their past?
He is one of the "least involved" in the case of the golden phone chats and burning sun (i DON'T defend or support him), and sadly she can imagine that the media over exaggerated the news (she have already experienced thar) 🤷🏻♀️ also there's a tiny tiny option that we are wrong and he "already" understand what he did wrong and he's now a "new man" (he already said to different news that he now understands that even when we "wasn't" evolved directly with all the aggression he was wrong).
ALSO a little remainder that hyuna have the complex of being like a mom to her partners, also happened with her members... You know like "i can't fix/help/save this person", and that's a mental health issue... So i don't support her new boyfriend, her new relationship, but i will not put my finger against a women who i don't know her situation and the most important thing i had never being in her position on in a similar situation, so i don't have the right to complain about it, i'm just really hoping and praying that SHE'S SAFE in this relationship.
Hyuna is a grown woman who definitely has enough money to seek therapy for her issues. If she chooses to ignore the multiple red flags to seek happiness in people who are obviously wrong for her people don’t have to coddle that by not voicing their opinions

I am disappointed in her, but i cant stop feeling bad for dawn. That guy left his group at the peak of their career just because he loved her, and even then he was only known as hyuna's bf, he never spoke up about it. Hes insanely talented and it hurts me to see her going from such a nice person to THAT. Her biggest fan sign shut down because of this. Absolutely disgusting.

the tone of this vid is a bit odd 🧐 not enough emphasis on the scandal or the fact that the guy knew AND watched those videos, replied to the videos in the group chat etc. hyuna is BEYOND weird for doing this shit. zero conscience. so odd that the guy still has a career, fans and plays concerts. korea and its stance on crimes against women is something that will forever baffle the world.
