ikr, there was a recent group called mamadol that was made up of former idols that had become moms. but even that didn't work out, i believe they disbanded very soon after debut. it's so sad especially given that male idols can continue in their careers after having children
They are having kids so young too. They are not mature enough to have children. You should not even think about having a child until you are financially stable, happy, in a good relationship that has lasted over 8 years, and own a home and car. If you don't have the money to pay for a child, a car, a house, medical bills, and their college, you do not need a child. A child is a tiny human, they are a lot of work and money, the majority of people are not prepared for that. I highly recommend fostering a child before you adopt one of have one.

But i always think about how especially during second gen how female idols would always warned the newer girl groups about talking to the older at male idols because I think they always knew that these dudes would pray on these women regardless of their age like people being like all 25 and 40 isn't that big of an age Gap or being a 20 year old who just debuted with someone who's been established at that point I'm pretty sure FT Island has been around for almost a decade not to mention they were a well-respected group / band and people fucking love them so like the idea of turning them down it's the same when I look back at like Dawn and HyunA. 😅 Like are you really going to sit there and try to deny these older seniors in the industry. Like I feel like most people would sit there and think about okay this can have bad repercussions and we know this for a fact because we've seen it whether we talked about idols or even acting. All it would take is that senior sitting there and talking about what a horrible Junior you are or that you were disrespectful or whatever even if no one freaking saw it and it would ruin your and your group's reputation.
Jesus, this is such an excellent point. With the superiority culture there (hierarchy? what's the term) you're so right that a senior talking bad about you is all anyone would believe or pay attention to. You'd be cooked. You may even like them, but it can't fail to be at the back of your mind that there's no real way out of it. That must be a culture shock to hear. There is a valid point that someone is too young to really be having any agency when they're 17 or 18, it's too young to marry, especially for a woman when it's so common for many cultures to view women as someone to be controlled rather than respected. Even 20 or 22, your life experience is not very broad and your brain isn't fully developed. that yulhee fancam isn't a "baby bump" that's just a woman with a uterus. Every cis woman has that "bump" because that's where our reproductive organs are.
Neither men nor fans understand the fact women have bumps without babies being present. There are men and some women who don't know women have three holes in their crotches and women don't menstruate from their urethras.
Love this comment. And even if she was 4 or 6 weeks along you don't show, the baby is so dang tiny at that point
To be far you wouldn’t even know you’re pregnant at 1 month. Most women don’t find out until after 2 months pregnant. It doesn’t even show up on pregnancy tests until then.
in fact, this is not true. u can find out that you are pregnant at least one week after fertilization. of course, you often only suspect it when your period is late and it is recommended to wait at least a while before taking the test for the beta-HCG hormone to actually be well detected. but saying it doesnt show up its a lie
So now, people get married because they are pregnant. No wonder many end up with divorce because marriage is now just a duty
I agree, I think marriage is really stupid and expensive and the custody battle is messy.

I wish they can all just marry when they're ready and have babies if they wish to.
Also, is it so difficult to return to activities after a baby in kpop? Their agencies need to help them. They can take a break maybe to get back in shape and then come back. Settling down is just another PHASE of life.

I feel like this is normally why you would hear like the stories of companies not only banning the idea of their idol dating.
That's just a toxic dynamic from the start, even if you're in love with them and eager to date them. People have to be more conscious of power imbalances and only ask out people when that power imbalance is gone.
broo what are you on. yulhee and minhwan hit it off after a blind date. I didn't want to say this but I see it often, parents who got pregnant early get kids who also got pregnant early which is the same with yulhee. maybe that's why yulhee might not think its a problem she even wanted to have a next kid but minhwan says 3 kids are already enough and got a vasectomy behind her back

As if leaping haphazardly into a marriage is better for the future of a child and family than taking time to truly think/work things out.
Does anyone know why yulhee’s ex husband has full custody? I watched clips of their show and they both looked really involved so I’m confused.
Yulhee gave up on custody of her kids to ensure they live in a good environment. She didn't have a stable income, and Korean law is kind of harsh on women.
