I need to mention Brian Barczyk. He was a reptile enthusiast and the owner of a reptile zoo named the Reptarium and had over five million subscribers on UA-cam. I actually visited the Reptarium in 2020 and got to meet him and some of his team. They were all great people and the Reptarium is a really cool place. Brian passed away in January of this year at the age of 54 after his battle with pancreatic cancer. R.I.P. Brian Barczyk
@@WookieWoman It’s a terrible disease. My grandfather passed away a few weeks ago from inoperable pancreatic cancer only about a month or so after he was diagnosed with it. It kind of makes it more serious to me now that my grandfather also passed away from the same thing. Brian was like 20 years younger than my grandfather though so that makes his death quite tragic as he still had a lot more life to live.
Another one is Michigun. He was the best star grinder in geometry dash. He used to have the world record for most stars, having over 60000. He also was a great creator, making parts in beloved extreme demons, and creating his own levels. The cause of his death is unknown, but it was sad to see him go.
Nah, GD is not as popular, nor are people really invested in it's community, nor will they care, probably. Actually, I'm pretty sure every game has a person like Michi - popular, good at the game, genuinely a good person, that passed away, for Minecraft it was Techno for example. Listing those people will probably make the video twice as long.

I remember when Claire passed. It made huge waves in the CF Community. Every doctor and nurse that was caring for me was talking about her. Honestly sad to see her pass at like 21. Even with all the amazing tech and medicine and research it’s heartbreaking 💔
I still remember the day that Techno's death was announced I woke up on the morning of 1 July, scrolled through my subscription feed and saw a community post from Dream expressing that he was heartbroken after hearing the news about Techno losing his battle Keep in mind that I was half asleep when I read that post, it took a few moments to realise what I had just read, but I was fully awake once I realised Legends never die 👑🐷🖤

You're most certainly going to have to make a part two. Joseph Robert Wilson, or as he calls himself in his videos: Paul of Mitten Squad. The community he built is still strong, the things he did in defining a type of gameplay where the goal is a goofy challenge or a really hard one. He was struggling, yes, but the Fallout and Elder Scrolls community has lost a Legend. And damn, man. Joseph did the same thing apetor did. He made a community post about how he's "not dead, despite the rumors." And he died a short week or two after. Rest in piece to all the Legends who are lost. You will not be forgotten.
Wait Mitten Squad passed away??? I read this comment and was like, wait, this sounds like someone im subscribed to, i search up the channel just to see thats exactly who you’re talking about, wtf man :/
Another person I would like to add that I don’t see on these that often, Talia Joy. She was a little beauty guru with a popular channel in the early 2010’s. She was diagnosed with cancer when she was just 7 years old, and passed away at only 13. I remember she was so full of life and happiness despite everything she was going through. She was truly a beautiful soul.

I can relate to Claire whinley. I also have cystic fibrosis and it isn’t fun. Of course technology is advancing and they are coming out with better treatments for it such as trikafta. It slows down the effects of CF. Makes mucus less thick, improves lung function, etc. the thing is is that if you stop taking meds or doing the vest then it’s a death sentence. I’m currently 19 and doing fine. But I do realize some people with cf aren’t fortunate enough to get certain meds because of the certain gene mutation said person has.
One passing that caught my attention was Kitty0706. He was a gmod machinima maker for a few years, and had ties to DasBoSchitt. He passed away in 2015 due to Lukimea.
We need a second episode on this topic ! It is so nice to remember these great souls who passed away, man you brought up tears to my eyes, I was feeling nostalgic during the entire video, these guys were my child hood for most of them, and some others like Apetor were just so natural and nice as a person, true UA-camrs, here to entertain you and not here for clout, not begging for likes and subs, just casually drinking his little shots of Vodka and jumping into frozen water with a chainsaw , the kind of simple man we all loved. Anyway, I see a lot of names in the comments that weren't included in this video so honestly , I think we can all agree on the fact that we need to get a "Beloved UA-camrs Who Died As Legends Part 2"
Yeah, and Hobo Shoestring needs a spot on this list! He helped so. Many. People. Travelers and housed, too. Helped me know which trains to look for while I was riding freight, and still found the time to make great UA-cam videos.
Christina Grimmie’s best friend whos alias online is Diamond Eyes wrote a song about his experience with the loss of her, the song was so upbeat despite being about loss, its called “23” please listen to it
As someone who suffers from Cystic Fibrosis it’s definitely deliberating there’s good days there’s bad days. Fortunately for me I’ve never been in such bad health as Claire Winefield was. Only been hospitalized twice my junior and senior year of high school both times put an end to my plans for college. Rest in Peace Claire
Man, Laoshu was my most favorite channel ever, I would binge watch it constantly, and continue watching until someone told me the dude was gone. Damn, it was so unexpected too given how booming and funny his energy was.

This video, specifically tomii 11 getting a record breaking amount of subscribers reminds me of a similar case. A UA-camr known as Paul Harrell announced that he would be retiring due to a form of cancer. Due to this, multiple larger channels pushed to get him one million subscribers before he passed. It was truly a beautiful moment of human cooperation. From what I hear, Paul Harrell is still alive, but unfortunately, it doesn’t seem like he has long.
