That deadlift drill stepping up and down through 20kg plates to FOUR HUNDRED AND TWENTY kilos is one of the maddest things I’ve ever seen.

They are called burnouts, and are done often in powerlifting. More so in training than anything else, but they are common.
In fairness, not at that weight, but burnouts in general are common.

One of the funniest Eddie memes is when you cut out the pyramid and make it look like 1 rep of 60 kg wore him out completely.

Prime Eddie Hall is just absolutely ridiculous. Its a shame he wasn't abit taller so he could hold the weight better, in my opinion he is the strongest man ever! It's a shame we only had him for one worlds title!

Yeah the last few comps of Eddie definitely were up there as the strongest guy ever.
He is the best on static strength. And the 2017 WSM is most static WSM ever and Eddie just dominated it. The only weakness he had are the moving events. The rest he is an absolute beast.
everyone calls him the beast, he even is the king of deadlift, because he lifted half a ton and then in 2020 he set Loughbar record 750kg deadlift but everyone is saying it not counts i dont know why.

@@jacobsvetich8735 Not even close lmao. He won WSM that year and got second place at Europe's. Now compare that to Thor who in 2018 won the Arnold Classic, Europe's Strongest Man, World's Strongest Man and World's Ultimate Strongman

The squat Eddie does for 8 reps in this video is 345 kg, not 365 kg. He said this himself

The "760 pound" claim is correct. Someone confused the conversion, as 365 kg is over 800 pounds

Eddie is in a position of very few people in this world. He has the power of will that will over come an obstacle that he chooses. He is also a true showman that has made strength competitions so much better attended and followed then before. Go for your dreams Eddie, you work for what you want!!!
