Oof
Thats a life tip “stop avoiding, start taking aim of where you want to go” 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽💯💯💯
never have i once seen a comment with so many likes and 0 comments, i have now ruined it
Sure the only person that will stop you from achieving your goals is “Yourself” So if you desire Achievements and Winning then go for it🥰
My brother just yells at me and never explains how to stay in my lane. "oh you'll get the idea yourself" when it's just been 15 days since I've started learning it, he expects me to "get the idea" and be a perfect driver. Thank you so much, you're a life saver 😭❤️
I'm happy to hear I'm helping. I do have a video on supervising learners you may be interested in.
Ur brother does not fit to be an instructor at all... telling the learner:”yeah it’s ok u will learn it soon” instead of actually teaching you how to “do it” is pretty much the worst thing ever especially when it comes to driving..
My teacher is quite similar that’s why i’m here...
All the best, mate
P.s. my driving test was on the 18th of feb! I surprisingly passed on the first try lmfaoo
EXACTLY
@@Iwillfightcauseigotnothing same for me
So frustrating. It’s almost enough to make you want to give up :) hope you made it!
You are so incredible at teaching, honestly whoever gets taught by you is very very lucky. Thank you for the video, you have helped me solve my hardest problem with driving in just 6 minutes
I'm happy to be of service.
Thank you so much for the video. Useful tips, I learn to drive confident on the road the next day
Me too is my hardest problem with driving
Same with me😊
Exactly my thought! He is incredible! I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to have a teacher like him here in Greece. His students are VERY lucky! Even if I pass,I will still come back to his channel whenever I feel the need to find a solution.
"Thank you" is not enough, is too little for his life lessons.❤❤❤❤
This is a huge help as a beginner driver. Thank you!
You're welcome
You are a lifesaver ....my instructor keeps yelling at me without explaining to me how to keep on my lane
Thank you so much
He’s Not A Good Instructor If He’s Hollering At You.. You Might Need New Lessons
After 10 sessions of driving practice I lost the hope I can ever drive. Mostly when I was seeing other people that had perfect center sense in their first time. This is Real Issue for some people and I never thought someone had this explained. Great job 👍🏼
This is very true, some do it naturally, some take a bit of time and about 10% really struggle but get there with practise. As far as I can tell it's mostly fear that seems to get in the way and cause some to over think it.
I recommend pratice with a tube that have a withd equals to the withd of a car, 2 weeks and you will fine
I am also taking lessons but my instructor is not teaching these tips yesterday i went on road it was hell really as soon as i pressed gas pedal it seemed it will loose control over car so what to do for smooth driving on straight and curved road plz help me i need its video with clear depiction of your foot placement
It seems i cant ever drive its the toughest job in this world🙁
@@Zzk18 did u pass?
I'm teaching my teenager to drive and since I'm not a driving instructor I haven't put a lot of thought into things like "how do you know how to center the car?" I just do it after decades of driving, like instinct. So I turned to UA-cam for ideas and found these videos. Tips like the ones you share here are GOLD. So easy to give her something specific, easy, and which totally works instead of "you'll just know after a while" kinds of answers. Of course being across the pond in the USA I have to flip all the left/rights to the correct ones 😄 Well done, I'm actually watching these and thinking "oh, that's clever. I wish someone had said that to me when I was a learner".
I have been driving for years and 1:03 still breaks my relaxation. I keep the car in the center of the lane using your great technique but that moment when a car is coming quickly in a narrow road my brain just turns into survival mode for some reason and pushes me to focus on whether the oncoming car is crossing the line in the middle.
Thanks for the great tips.
The bit about the negative feedback loop is very true, at first I barely realized I’m swerving in the lane but then people started road raging at me and I started focusing only on not swerving which made it even worse and then it just spirals out of control where driving becomes a nightmare and everyone is road raging at me. Great tip about aiming to drive where you need to go instead of aiming to avoid everything on the road that’s super helpful. Avoiding everything just adds to the negative feedback loop and makes the swerving worse. It’s embarrassing to focus so much on keeping your lane only for the swerving to get worse, it’s all based on paranoia and fear about a car accident, better that then being one of these fearless drivers who have no regard for anyone on the road though 😂
After watching your videos i realise my instructor only taught me how to pass my test and not how to drive. I passed the first time by the way and I've been driving 2 years now. but I've been putting the information you give in your videos to practice and I feel more confident and safer in driving now. thanks
I'm happy to hear it's working.
I'm In my third week in driving class and my third time handling a car and anytime we would go for driving practicals this is usually my biggest challenge, staying aligned in the lane!! My instructor keeps telling me you have to stay in the middle but I don't know how,and for sure I knew there must be a hack thanks to this video, it's really helpful
@@beatricedillo1634 same here. Looking at where I want to go rather than avoiding.
I've already passed my test a few months ago but was still struggling with judging the width of my car. I'm overthinking wayyyy to much. I think what you said is the key to solve my problem "Dont think about the car too much and stay relaxed". Thank you.
That me buddy I'm an ovethinker too
We're professional overthinker. lol
Oh my frustrating days! I've been struggling with this thinking when will I ever know how to position the car correctly without being told "go left" "go right" every now & then... so now in my next lesson I shall test this out & see how it goes thanks so much for these tips. I'm a nervous wreck when driving I get so tense & I'm all sweaty by the end of it 🤦🏾♀️😩
I hope it helps.
This is exactly what I'm going through right now 😅
Me toooo 😭
My brother said most of this but ruder so didn’t learn a shit
Thanks for this vidoe
OMG! this is what I do.. I try avoiding hitting the car to the right., and end up almost scratching the parked cars on the left... Thank you for this. Gona try it
May God bless you.
My instructor didn’t tell me this, but after watching this video, I did better than before
My driver instructor quit on me cause I've had 10 hours lesson and still can't steer a car properly.
He said he can't teach slow learner as I'm a beginner. I find it difficult to steer a car in straight lines and always swerving to the kerb and other side of the road during the driving lessons.
This video has helped me a lot to understand how to steer a car properly and maintain a straight line.
You're a good driving instructor.
Thank you so much 🙏.
I just recommended this video in a reply to a comment on another video. I'm glad you found it yourself. I hope it helps.
That kinda instructor is the worst.! I feel for you
You out did yourself with this video Conquer’ this one is worthy of an award!🥇 Epic driving tips 💯✅🙏
Thank you so much!
Another problem with new drivers is that they will often overcorrect their position meaning they often end up in the wrong position again and have to correct again... what they should understand is that... unless you are very close to hitting something... you should steer very lightly and allow the car to drift in the position where you should be... the closer to the position you are the less steering angle you should have until at the very end you can take the steering angle off with a very short move
the left leg is such a good tip! ive been driving for 5 years and this has always been a problem for me, cant wait to try it out now!
I really need to get this in my head, my driving test was meant to be during COVID and was unfortunately cancelled but my instructor says my driving is really smooth and safe and I should pass but my biggest fault is still instinctively getting too close to parked cars
I hope it helps, good luck 🤞
Enjoyed the video. "Hands follow eyes" as they say, and yes it's so much harder when you are tense and nervous!
Thank you, there is trouble when the eyes follow the hands though 😄
I just had to come back and thank you for this video. The past 2 weeks I've been doing my lessons and my instructor was pleased that I'm now able to stay on my lane. Kudos for this video👏👏👏all the way from South Africa 🇿🇦
I see u here mate 🤭
Hi Richard, thank you making these videos! I failed my first test for swerving to the left too much and with your “left leg” tip, and your other useful content, I was calm, collected, and passed today with 3 minors! So thank you very much from the bottom my my heart, all the way from Australia!
That's awesome! Congratulations.
I’m always driving on both of lanes ,i’ll be try this out tomorrow
This guy never disappoints. Extremely helpful and interesting
Thank you. It really worked . Relax and drive you move smoothly. Have a great day. Stay safe
You’re such an amazing teacher, thanks for all of the videos! It’s helped me so much with starting driving again after 10 years of being too scared to drive since passing my test.
I first learned that concept of "look exactly where you want to get because its super important" while learning to skiing. Interesting that applies here as well. Loved this! Thanks!
Such good advice. It seems simple once you explain it but in practice it’s another story. Thank you for making it so clear.
I’m from the USA and found this very helpful. Thank you.
Lots of effort have been put into making this extremely useful video. Thank you so much for explaining how to keep our vehicle within lane and keep safe distance from others.
You guys (all the channels I have watched) has helped me so much. Thank you guys. I feel more confident in driving now. Once again: thank you!
Big hug from Hong Kong! Your videos have been super helpful, thank you Richard!
Thank you for the detailed teaching I can say I had watched many tutorials without results but I drove a manual car at once after watching one of your videos
Excellent explanation about keeping inside of the lane.
This helped me a lot today with the roundabouts. Your lessons are life savers for new drivers on the road ! Thanks so much😊😊😊😊😊
Thank you so much! Looking at where you are going rather than what to avoid, thanks for this tip!
You are the best driving teacher, I think.
Bro, I am a novice driver in South Africa. You have helped me a lot. Thanks
Thank you for helping me with this matter. It helped me more confident since I watched this video. And I finally passed it yesterday. 🎉
The best video of car driving ever, everything is easy now
been out of the drivers seat for a number of years for health reasons. just got back in the drivers seat not long ago and finding it a bit difficult judging where my car is. thanks for the tips. heres hoping my driving improves more now.
As someone that is learning to drive, I do struggle with this in general... but also on many other occasions. When I am changing gears or checking my left and center mirror which is about it and this really mainly happens when I am driving quicker.
I cant get enough of these videos! They make me feel more confident as a new driver
You're welcome ☺
You are the world's best teacher
Thank you for making these videos, I watch them all the time and help me a lot 🎉
This is really useful for me, I got the hand of turning really quickly it's just when I am driving in a straight lane is when I struggle.
Thank you,Hope this help me today and throughout my life🙏👏
This is such a better tip then people telling me to just stay on the lane.
Thanks for these videos. They re so helpful for beginner drivers such as myself.
Thank you very much - I really liked the idea of judging the middle lane using the left leg as "looking where you going" never worked for me, ha my mind keeps shifting to upcoming vehicles and the line in the middle. I will definitely try it in my next lesson and will see the outcome :D
I've been struggling with this, tried it in my lesson today and it helped a ton! Thank you :)
I love your demonstration.....and feel confident enough when i see your videos....thanks very much.
Hi all,
I have passed yesterday first time.
This channel taught me a lot
Especially staying in the middle of the lane, how much to steer and when to stop steering.
Thank you very much Richard for the helpful content.
I really really appeeciate this cuz currently i'm in learning phase and this was one of my hurdles and this helped a lot🙏
you are the best teacher l swear
I tried this today & it worked well.
Didnt hv to keep looking at my side mirrors.
Thank u so much! 💜
I binge all the videos man. I just love to learn how to be a better driver !
Nice video. Thank you for the perspective especially with where to focus when keeping straight.
Mad respect this guy is still responding. Thanks bro, I needed this!
You're welcome. I'll try my best to respond to as many as possible.
incredible teaching style. find myself learning the most from here than other channels.
Thank you!
I found I tend to steer towards something I'm staring at rather than away from it. (I'm the opposite of the video at 0:30)
That tendency affects my driving and my cycling. It was fun to play with that concept on a bicycle in an empty area: I'd try to go in a straight line but intentionally stare at something else. After a second or two, I saw how wildly off-centre I was from the line I wanted to follow. Of course even though it's less damage if you crash non-motorized wheels, do make sure it's safe to do weird things like that. You don't want to fall or run over someone's pet with your bicycle / scooter / etc.
Thanks for the video!
Thank you. Turning right was helpful.
I've been driving for years why am I watching this haha. Thanks for the good vid.
hi.... receive love all the way from Kenya... Your videos have helped me a lot!!! out here our driving instructors are rogue, they barely teach us any helpful road tips... all I learned was the road signs and how to maneuver on a model town board. meanwhile, the roads are the complete gheroooooo..... thank you for doing this.. you are saving lives!!!!! ❤💝
You are so good at explaining,I'm learning something new and practical every time.i watch
Thank you ☺
I think this can help me most. Let me try and come back with a positive result to update you. I've got your advice on this in another lesson on turning the car ... and I am feeling great finding a particular one on this topic which I am searching for. Thank you so much! Much love
Very helpful videos. Good instructor, keep up the good work. I got my licence today, thank you very much ❤🎉
This is a huge helpful video for me as a leaner
You gave a nice idea to drive confidently.
I took this video to be as how to stay in your lane in life and applied each of his sentences metaphorically to my life. Surprised to say it made sense
Passing through eyes 👀, love from Uganda 🇺🇬 East Africa
Thanks so much!!!I have really struggled to keep to my lane
you could also try putting the car in sport mode setting so the steering is tighter. This helped me when I started driving especially on the freeway.
Right from the beginning I knew I have gotten what I was looking for, thank you sir and So Help Me God
Greetings from Romania ✌🏼I have learned a lot from your tutorials even if I drive since 2016. Thank you for your work & keep it up !
Thank you!
I passed my test 8 years ago, I've been driving my parents car on and off since then but only recently got my own for the first time and now I'm constantly driving back and forwards to work. I'm on a single carriageway national speed limit road on the way home and this sort of lane weaving was a huge problem for me. Because of my lack of experience I'm always panicking about cars coming towards me quickly then the next minute trying to not go into a ditch. I was wondering why I couldn't just keep the car centred. This video is a huuuuuuge help. Thank you so much for this you don't know how appreciated it is. It makes my life so much easier. Hahaha
I learn a lot from the video. As a beginner I have trouble keeping my car centered in one lane. Now i'm gonna try this next driving lesson.
You may find my video on how to judge the width of your car helpful.
Thanks for your help, my instructor was fed up with me because of crossing, steering my wheel and about hitting the curve
Its will help me. Thanks for the video.
I'm struggling to keep the car straight on the road. And I feel like I am moving too much the steering wheel.
Your lectures are Very educating. I enjoy every bit...
Great tip on sharp bends!
doing my test in a week! watching every video i find to refresh my memoryyyy
Good luck!
Thanks a mil. You solved my a big problem that was holding me back. Though I drove few years before I wasn’t used to curbs that are not visible on the left. So I was struggling to understand how to estimate my left properly while keeping good space in my right. Your tips were fantastic and they immediately made sense. I did a drive after mapping it in my head and I was able to drive in the centre with ease. Really really appreciate these tips.
This video explain the key to driving! ❤
Great tips Richard. Thank you very much!
Amazing explanation, thank you. My instructor did not explain how to stay in the center and was annoyed when I didn't.
I felt so low after today's class. I have had 15 classes so far and am practising driving with my husband frequently. But still can't get it right. Both my husband and instructor yells at me for not keeping my car in lane. My instructor tells me the same "look at where u r going , you are looking too close that's why you are doing the snake thingy" but i couldn't understand what he was telling me. But I think I have a better idea now after seeing your video ,which I will put to practice.
I hope the video helps.
Thank you so much for this video - we just got a new (small) SUV when I drove it for the first time I did all the things you cautioned not to do when I got out I told my husband I can't drive this car it is too big and too wide I can't judge the width of the car in relation to the road lane. I will watch all your videos now. You are a brilliant teacher.
Got my license a while ago and i forgot this tip and found myself drifting into the other lane on the highway. I was so embarrassed. I knew i had to watch your videos again
Thanks for fixing all of my life problems
I’m 17 and just started learning and this is my only struggle, I still don’t get it :( but your recent video on blip upshifting was amazing and helped so much!!
Thank you and you're welcome!
Thank you this help me a lot
Thank you very much ,,am on lesson 5 today and am still struggling to remain on my lane. I will try this
@@cecilianthenya5758 this is me I just completed my lesson 5 and steer either too left or too right it’s so frustrating.
This is what I needed!!! Thank you. I always feel as though I’m too wide, turn too soon, over steer, and micromanage as my bf says by looking at the pavement directly in front causing me to weave. He gave me the same advice if looking ahead and aiming. But you put it in perspective for me. My aunt also gave me the tip of finding the hood ornament, center crease in the hood, or the little nub of radio antenna in the center of the dash, and slinging that with the outside line of the lane.
Aligning with the outside line of lane * not slinging :)
As an ageing new learner your vids are becoming invaluable, WD mate.
Thank you, I'm happy to hear you find them helpful.
Life changing tips. Thank you
Thanks dear staying centered my lane as been my problem and my husband does take it easy with me but Thanks for this video
Your videos are brilliant , thanks for sharing all the content 🤩
You are the master man, I passed my driving test with judging my car’s position confidently.
That's great news, congratulations on passing!
Thank you so much for this...I tried it today and my instructor who was disappointed by my driving said i improved today.😊
I'm happy to hear it helped.
