I passed my driving test with 4minor faults at first attempt here in Sheffield, your videos I watched almost daily. Thank you for being a shining light, I appreciate you. I’m happy 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
It is fhe first time you have made a video like this and it is one of those that are surely producing ardent drivers even without them authentically taking lessons with you. Keep it up sir.
1:30 This fact is what I understand very quickly as a new learner driving on the main road. I have put this tip or rule into practice and it work very well for me. I look way ahead to where I want to go and anticipate the size of the gap where I need to pass. As long as I perceive that the size of the gap is wide enough then I proceeded confidently. 😎💯💪🏿👍🏿

Hiya Chris, I just passed my manual driving test, 2 minors. I updated my license from automatic to manual😊 your videos really provide me with a wealth of information and increased my confidence. Thank you for your help!! Keep on doing what you doing. 🎉🎉🎉
@@worlddriving failed with 3 serious and that was getting close to a rear end of truck when changing lanes and handbrake was up but I didn’t know it was still on. Another was I hit the kerb 3m into the test and I didn’t even do it before in my lesson. And 11 minors and been driving for nearly a year doing lessons :/
A huge thank you for your videos, i finally passed on attempt 3 with 5 minors. Do you have a video for new drivers going alone for the first time?? ❤❤❤
Although I got 1 take passed two weeks ago, I still love to watch your videos, they are very informative. I remember I always watch your videos before attending driving test, i am not young but still got 1 take passed, thank you for your help.😊 By the way, can you do some videos on how to drive on motorway especially from sip road?? I have never got any experience on motorway when learning driving from my instructor.
I passed my theory test. I haven't started any driving lessons but I'm on a car driving simulator with steering wheel, pedals and VR. I struggle with staying center in lane without staring at my reference point.
I'm struggling so much I want to cry. I just had a driving lesson (after about 9 years since I had lessons - I stopped lessons because I struggled eith this staying centred issue) and I still don't know how to do it. The driving instructor doesn't seem to understand and puts it down to me "over analysing". I'm not. I just can't seem to understand hoe close or far away my car is from parked cars or oncoming traffic. I'm crying as I write this because I had 30+ hours of lessons 9 years ago and didnt make any progress in the positionings thing. I can change gears and everything fine but really struggle with the positioning. The instructor had to steer the wheel so many times. He had reference stickers in the middle but they were not helpful. Also I tried the "focus on where you want the car to go" thing but it didn't help. I can't learn to drive if I don't learn this.
Hi Chris, great video! I did my first drive on country roads today with my instructor and my positioning was wavering between too left and too right (incoming vehicles seemed very close). This added to when driving at faster speeds really increased my nerves and I felt I had less control of the car because I struggled to gauge proximity of space between my driver side and incoming cars (driving in the UK). I watched this video but do you have any tips which can help learners judge or feel more confident about the gap between drivers side of car, lane line and oncoming vehicles?
Watching this I feel like is me in that car doing all this faults, I’m at 18h of lessons and still struggle with position, lane discipline and steering, but not all the time, sometimes I feel overconfident and then is when I do mistakes…
That's why I feel like this advice is terrible. Basically telling learner drivers to ignore their surroundings and what's close to them but just drive wherever you feel like

For tyre pressure there's also sometimes a sticker in the fuel cap door as that's less likely to wear off like inside the door driver-side door

Correction: A roads not country roads
Thanks for the tip about left knee meaning roughly centre...what about right leg meaning roughly where your right wheel is or nah?
thanks ❤❤
You're welcome!
thank you so much 😍😍

Hey! How is it going now?
In my country..most of the roads where I traverse do not have lines on the road 😢
Can i get the link to those blinsspot mirrors

Awww. Having difficulty to keep me in the lane correct position :(
My instructor told me to watch these videos because I do stare and can’t drive straight 😢😂😂
Same i stare alot, i don't think thats good for people like us lol
My husband told me like that 🤣🤣🤣
Same problem 😂
Me too that's why I'm here😂
@@HisSacredLove..,so do I... that's caused failed my test.😢😢
I find that driving position is entirely dependent on pot holes.
Good point 😂
Where is that road at 6:13?
I always off road while driving
some parked cars are facing the wrong way.
I started looking further out and then didn’t notice a friggin parked lorry sticking out and then I smashed my rear view window….

That is not what he is saying. He has said to make sure you glance quickly
