There is no increase in power trust me, this mod is more about throttle response. Which does make the car feel more peppy. if u want more power buy KTuner for your car. Best purchase i've made for my car other than the down pipe...
Mteixeira91 there should be a small increase only like 8-10 HP, not noticeable in feel. If you match it with an high flow exhaust you would notice a power increase though.
@@joshuasmith5933 you should try doing your research next time. K&N supposedly promises only a three horsepower increase on their website. I should know this because I have this exact filter, and also with a full exhaust. Also if you really want that 3 measly horsepower you need to get your car tuned. That's why I recommended K-tuner because it costes almost the same amount and you get a great increase of power 25hp+ depending on sea level.
Mteixeira91 that’s for a filter. I’m talking about a brand new cold air intake. I put my car on the Dyno after the installation and got 9.77 HP increase, and a 23.43 HP increase when matched with my magnaflow exhaust. So I did my research thanks.
Mteixeira91 the one in the video isn’t a true air intake system, just a filter with an adaptor. Go to k&n website and looks at any performance intake system and it will say in the specifications the horsepower gain.
Man that’s priceless the smile it put on his face he looks more happier than a kid on Christmas but yes it does sound very good it sounds so good some people might even think that you have a exhaust on it and yes cold air intakes reroutes to a cooler part of the engine bay to get more denser and cooler air upping the amount of air that enters your engine but like for a Honda Civic since it’s so light adding 5 hp on it feels a lot faster
