Thanks a lot for checking the video out. I want to do more but I'm a bit strapped for time. I am working on it though and hopefully I can offer a Patreon once I have good enough content on there.
@@terr20114 Maybe upload a short of the squid game part only (the part at the beginning of this tutorial) and not include any behind the scenes stuff. Then on the description you can link this tutorial.
I prefer the workflow in fusion a lot more than blender. If I composite real footage it gives me more and easier tools to composite, edit, color grade, do sound design etc. I can use VST audio effects on the fairlight page. The whole process is more streamlined.
I've seen people track the scene in Davinci and export the tracking data to blender. Or just bring the 3d character into Davinci and track the scene. I haven't tried it myself yet. I'm curious what workflow you think works best.
I have seen it before but never played with the 3D viewport in resolve before. I have use the tracker for 2D. It’s a very good one but I’ve never played with its 3D tracking and solving capabilities. This is interesting. I’ll surely be looking into it. Thanks Kyle.
If the camera moves in a way that changes the perspective on the object a lot then you need to track it in Blender so you can render that perspective change of the model.
I've never considered private lessons but I could help you with any questions you have if you run into a roadblock. I'm planning on launching a Patreon and a Discord where likeminded folks can all meet, chat and solve Editing and VFX issues.
The scale metrics tip and the garage door for matching shadows was great

Could you please explain why you prefer to use davinci for compositing than blender ?
Thanks :-)
