I’ve been doing these 10-minute practices for about a year now, and they really do transform my mornings. I tend to wake up with spiraling depressing thoughts in the morning, but these videos reset my mind and allow me to start my day fresh. I burst into tears as soon as I heard today’s affirmation. really love how detailed you get with your instruction. I find other instructors don't explain the poses as well so i'm constantly looking at the tv instead of being able to just listen. Thanks Kassandra! You're really helping me fall in love with yoga

I'm enjoying every lesson, especially today - I noticed I can almost touch the floor with the entire feet during the facing dog pose, while at the beginning I definitely couldn't :D
when you first said the affirmation for today, one of my cats nuzzled into my towel while i stretched and when you said it again at close, my two cats and roommate were all playing on the bed. really felt it true and true :)

I’ve been practicing with your videos for a few days now, and I’m already noticing the subtle things such as smoother transitions between poses and more ease doing ones that I could hardly hold before. This is awesome, I love your videos!
I’m really terrible at this. I keep getting discouraged. I don’t have the balance or the flexibility to pull half of these poses off and I feel like I’m not doing any of them right. Is anyone else having this trouble? How did you get through it? I just gave up on the second dancers pose. I don’t know why this video is so hard, I’ve done dozens of others with her no problem.
One-legged poses are hard for me. I have my mat set up near a wall so I can reach out and steady myself. If I fall out of the pose, oh well! I’ll rewind the video and try again, or move on if I’m not feeling it. Also, I can’t do any of the seated folds nearly as well as Kassandra. I’d like to think that with enough practice I can achieve that flexibility some day, but if not, that’s ok and at least I’m moving my body. It’s ok if there are poses that are hard for you! And it’s totally ok to give up on a pose and come back to it another time. Try substituting a different pose that feels more comfortable for you: it may help with those feelings of frustration to do a pose that you enjoy when you feel discouragement coming on. Keep with it. You can do it!
My dancer pose was trash, and many of these poses aren't half as graceful as hers, but I just do them to my ability. With dancer pose specifically if you can't reach and extend your leg up, simply hold onto your foot and stretch your thigh while remaining upright. It's still a bit of balance and stretching. Just moving your body is the goal 🙂 Good luck!
I had trouble with the dancer's pose as well. I do wish she offered variations for people who aren't as flexible as she is. Yoga with Adriene is pretty good at giving those. But ultimately, it's not about getting it perfect, it's about finding a stretch and flow that feels good to you.
I had the same problem. And someone told me there's no right way to do yoga. Just do what you can. Don't push yourself too hard. And you'll get better.
I just try as hard as I can and if I lose balance I try to get to that pose again as fast as I can. Usually it's good to just focus your sight in front of you and flex your muscles to help and hold that position.
I do this challenge with my husband. Today we missed the morning routine, but got it in later in the day. We are so committed, we wouldn’t miss a day! Thanks for awesome yoga!! #morningyoga

The affirmations ping into my head throughout my day and have made me think of my decisions and my life a little differently. Today’s is great, appreciate those closest to me, because I know some days, I don’t appreciate others who are there everyday and do things for me or my family and I don’t even consider the kindness/brilliance they bring to my life.

Goodmorning! Really best yoga session, got me in 10 min positive and ready to start in total relax.Every time I take this lesson I am able to sit on my heels which is a real challenge for my right knee after a ski accident years ago. STill feels tight but no pain, my leg bends easily into the baby pose. So happy! Thanks again
I've just started earial yoga and my couch told me it's a hard one you've chosen. But it wasn't that much hard for me because I practice this and other UA-cam yogis class regularly. It was amazing how these short practice made big difference

No, definitely not just you. I felt the same way. 😩 I thought it was maybe because I didn’t have my yoga mat this time. It also seemed longer.
I think due to the dancer's pose after which we extend that same leg up front without touching the floor.
I agree lost my balance a couple of times 🤦🏾♂️😊
This one was definitely hard...I have to do it again tomorrow.
