I made this for New Year's Eve dinner last night and it was absolutely delicious!! My hubby and I couldn't stop snacking on it. The grocery store was out of puff pastry sheets so we used two cans of reduced fat crescent rolls which worked well. Next time I might use low fat cream cheese and generally add less cheese and skip the butter with the spinach to make it a little healthier.
Made this last night. Massive success. Slight difference since I had a much more Salmon is I did a layer of Salmon, then the greens mixture, then the other piece of salmon on top. Had to cook a lot longer but it came out perfect.

I've been following you and your hubby since early this year and made several of your dishes. You are both so good at teaching and guiding us into making delicious meals. I just turned 60 and never felt more comfortable cooking until recently. The one benefit of this Pandemic for me is... it gave me time to learn to prepare and cook delicious meals. @@delimawalker2523 it was a while ago...but I think I did Italian mixed veggies - broccoli, cauliflower, & carrots, garlic mash potatoes and parmesan Texas toast. It was all so delicious. I think I may make it again this weekend. Try it... You'll love it!

I made this. This recipe was a no-brainer, fast and easy to make. Delicious! I reduced the seasoning amounts (low sodium preference) and I used garlic paste. I made it really quick because I was in a rush. I thought that it would come out ugly, (the pastry dough was a challenge, since I used a larger piece of fish, but i forked & egg-washed closed). It came out beautiful!
I just wanted to add: OH, YES! I've got to make this wonderful dish! When you got it out of the oven, it was as if I could smell that crispy puff pastry on top! So pretty!!! YUM!!!
We tried this for dinner this evening and it was delicious❣ Thank you for sharing. We put it in for another 10 minutes after it was done and brushed the top of it with some melted Unsalted Butter and sprinkled some Minced Garlic and it was soooo good 👍
Excellent recipe! I've done this before except I used pie crust. And for my egg wash, I use egg whites mixed with melted butter, then I sprinkle kosher salt on top before baking. 🙌🏽

I would have liked to see how you life the salmon and put it in the baking dish. Also, the camera is frequently on you while you are doing things. Then when you are done carrying out a step, then the camera is off you and back on the food. The food and its preparation is the star ⭐️ of the show.
I will try this beautiful dish. To mimic somewhat my fave lox and bagels,, I will sprinkle on a few capers b4 enclosing the salmon, to add a little tartness- balancing the richness of the cheese. Thank you!
