I have seen Floyd live a number of times, and they are ALWAYS great. But, I really wish that people listened to the studio (original) versions the first time they hear a song. Be amazed, then, if you liked the song, check out the live stuff (and be further amazed.)
Great reaction, - thank you for sharing it with us. I am sure you would enjoy other performances from this same "Pulse" concert; - especially classics like "Comfortably numb"; "Shine on you crazy diamond"; "The great gig in the sky" and others.... Pink Floyd began in the 1960's and their music is still fresh and full of emotion for me all these years later. I hope that you will continue your journey into the Pink Floyd experience Kaggwa, - and thank you once again.
Greetings from Canada. We can't. Tell you ALL about Pink Floyd- it would take far too long. Most of us who know will try to answer specific questions that you ask. Peace, love and bellbottoms.
Interesting fact: At the end of this show at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal, on my way to the parking lot, I passed behind the stadium and there were 3 trailers equipped with huge industrial generators. I spoke with a member of the staff, who told me that these generators were needed to provide enough electricity for the show, that the stadium could not meet this huge demand.
I wish it was filmed more closely but at the end of the song guy Pratt is playing the bass and running in place 100 miles an hour!! I just wish it was easier to see! Of course there are a few other things going on than him running in place!
@@Reactionswithkaggwa Try listening to Dark Side of the Moon in it's entirety. It's really one of the finest pieces of music ever recorded. You will have to listen to the entire album to listen to the story. Enjoy
If you want something different, but just as exceptional, take a look at: Pink Floyd - The Great Gig In The Sky (PULSE Restored & Re-Edited) I am convinced that the lyrics of this song will knock you off your chair.
Every single song at Pulse was a drop-the-mic-killer!!!
I agree with you.
Love this performance, such high energy, high intensity.
Awesome.
You can say that again.

Great privilege I must confess. Thanks for this.
@@Reactionswithkaggwa A;ways willing to help a budding Floydian in his/her journey. They were one of the Best.
The entire Pulse live concert is fire, excellent musicians at the top of their game. Pick any song they are all like this.

I am glad you enjoy them. Comfortably numb was the first song of theirs that I reacted to. You mind searching and watching? It’s up there.

Thank you.
This was the final song played at the Pulse concert. You have plenty of material to react to if you only do the songs from this concert.
Yup!
I think so. I may have to get ready for this rabbit hole I am planning to get into.
"One of these Days" from same show is a TREAT. Fun song, intense Pink Floyd live forever.
Sure. Thanks
I saw this tour (Division Bell) at the Hoosier Dome in '94, the lights were so bright on this song it made your eyes water.
Wow! That’s a rare privilege I guess.
I like your reacton to good music
Thank you.
brilliant reaction
Thanks.
In this song, they used ALL the lights to close out the show!
It was amazing!!!

@@thepragmatic6383wow!
Amazing
This song they use all the 200,000 watts of power. 3 power trucks outside. think about this was 1994.
That was a lot of energy there. Thanks for sharing.
great reaction, id recommend that you try "COMFORTABLY NUMB" from the same pulse concert
I did that reaction earlier. You could check it out on the playlist.

Pink Floyd is the greatest band to step on stage or studio. Time may never really catch up to their music.
They are really a great band.
