Nick Mason absolutely kills it. Brilliant performance.
😊
Thank you so much for watching and commenting ❤️
Thank you 😊😊
You really do get it , Even as a 73 year old this still gets me I've got to listen to this at least once a week, loved your reaction.❤❤❤
@@trevmb100 Thank you so much Eric. And thanks for watching
That's how I learned to play drums by feeling the time and the mood of the song. As you with your counting thumb snaps and swaying to the music automatically as if you were the song. INMO
Thank you so much for watching and commenting ❤️
It's really incredible that you could teach yourself how to drum 🤯
The real Pink Floyd🤘
Oh yes 😁 thank you for watching 😊
"Echoes" has a calming effect on autistic children.
It's one of their early ecology themed songs
at about 12 minutes Dave simulates whalesong with jis guitar
@@garyclouse4164 It also calms my spirit, this song is so special 💗. Thank you for watching and commenting ❤️
Pretty good volume on your channel. Keep that. Great band , great reaction. This is a Masterclass band. They have no bad songs and a Huge library.
Thank you so much 💓. And thank you for watching and commenting ❤️
I appreciated your reaction. This was filmed in 1971, released in 1972.
Thank you so much, your kind words means a lot to me. Thank you for watching 😊
David Gilmour was around 25 years old when this was filmed in 1971. 45 years later, in 2016, at age 70, he returned to Pompeii to perform in front of a live audience.
Oh wow, David Gilmour is literally the Best guitar player and singer ever 😍. Thank you so much for watching
One of those guys is still performing this song - Nick Mason and the Saucerful of Secrets, touring US, UK and Europe in 2024.
@@SuHo-bp1iy oh really, wow. Thank you for watching and commenting ❤️
@Keyrat1753 @Blessingsreacts 🤭 He's playing NYC and still 4 decades later, 🤗 I'll be late on Rent due to Pink Floyd again.... 😏 And I'm still not mad about having to do that. 😄 A late fee definitely worth a Gilmour ticket. 🤔 May be cheaper in NJ... 🤣 like when I saw the Pulse Tour at The NJ Meadowlands 🥰🐰
@@cityhonors1 oh my goodness, i love your spirit 😂 i will be late on rent too, if i had the opportunity to see them 😂. Thank you so much for watching and commenting 😊
I couldn’t properly dress myself at that age and these cats are producing this.
I know right 😊they're incredible and Thank you for watching
too much for u noob
This was too much for me and thanks for watching
🙋🏿♀️ May I suggest some Rush! Another band around for 4 decades, and like PF, has a decade for everyone. 🤔 Vibe wise, La Villa Strangiato, 2112, Cygnus X-1 Books (The Voyage & Hemispheres) are in the same vein as this PF long form song. ☺️ And like PF, Rush has 📻 'Radio Friendly Hits' like Tom Sawyer, New World Man, The Spirit of Radio & Free Will. They were the 1st 45' Rush singles I bought in JHS after seeing them open up for KISS! Dang, 😒 I feel real old now that KISS has entered the convo.... 😂🥰🐰
Thank you for watching and making this suggestions. I will check it out 😊
A Mega Masterpiece. Your analysis at the end was spot on, congrats!!!
Thank you so much for watching and commenting ❤️
3 of the 4 guys performing in Pompeii in 1971 also performed in the 1994 Pulse collection of songs (Mason, Wright, and Gilmour).
This is really amazing 👏. Thank you so much for this information ❤️
Thank you for including part 1 & 2 together in the same video. Some reactors do part 1 but neglect to follow up with part 2. Performing in Pompeii is an incredibly creative idea!
Thanks for checking out my channel and for commenting. I'm so grateful ❣️
What you said about the music was beautiful.
Brings joy to my heart.
Thank you so much 💓 and thanks for watching 😊
@@Photonface I'm glad i was able to do that 😊
Amazing what four talented musicians can do. Glad you did parts 1 and 2 it gives the song the full meaning
They're incredible and thank you for watching and commenting ❤️
Not sure if you know about the story of Pompeii so I'll give you some background.
Pompeii was a city in Italy back in the days of the Roman empire.
It was a magnificent place with all the modern amenities of the time.
It was only 5 miles from Mount Vesuvius and there were constant earth tremors. These are what we know today to be warning signs that something is going on with regards to an active volcano. Unfortunately they didn't have that knowledge back then.
In 79AD the volcano erupted in a massive explosion showering the city in hot, choking volcanic ash. Then the side of the mountain collapsed sending a pyroclastic flow onto the city and burying it along with most of its citizens. It was rediscovered in 1748 and to the astonishment of the people uncovering it they found hollow forms in the compacted ash.
These turned out to be where people were buried and although the remains had completely disappeared they were able to fill the holes with plaster and then remove the ash revealing the shapes of the people as they died.
It's a horrendous site to see whole families basically suffocated and baked in position.
So, all the steam and bubbling mud pools you see are from the volcanic ground.
The place they were playing in was the amphitheatre where games and plays were performed all that time ago.
I hope this was helpful.
✌🏻❤🇬🇧
Thank you so much for this incredible information ❤️ and thank you for watching 😊😊
Thanks for your profound reaction … you absolutely find the right words ,,
Thank you so much 💓 and thanks for watching 😍🥰
Echoes the greatest Pink Floyd song and album period
You're so right 😊. Thank you so much for watching and commenting ❤️
Another Pink Floyd epic that goes where no man has gone before, playing in an ancient place for the lost souls and their fans. No better tripping music back in the day, for sure. Amazing, see more of them ASAP, they have a incredible catalog. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎹🎶
Pink Floyd is an incredible band, you can check other pink Floyd videos on my channel. Thank you for watching and commenting ❤️
She is so right, this song WILL Last for Eternity! Pink Floyd forever, like Mozart, Beethoven, the Beatles and Led Zeppelin.
@@vicprovost2561 Thank you so much for watching and commenting ❤️
You missed a lot of the athmosphere by being not able to keep the eyes open, funny though... Yes, you are right this genius piece will last till eternity ❤
Thank you for watching and commenting 😊
Just a little song that seems to describe how all life on earth began in the depths of the oceans, how we are just echoes of that first spark of life, how we are all deeply related. It tells us, we should be better human beings.
"I am you and what I see is me", "and so I throw the windows wide and call to you across the sky"
Also many will recognise the main Riff.
This is the riff Sir Andrew Loyd Webber some years later stole for "The Phantom of the Opera" 😉
Oh wow, I'm so excited about what you just described. Thank you so much for watching and commenting ❤️
You need to be stoned to truly enjoy this album
Thank you so much for watching and commenting ❤️
why not the remaster version ?
This was a suggestion by my subscriber and he gave me this link.
As King David would play a stringed instrument to soothe the evil spirit of King Saul. So can David Gilmore soothe the evil spirits of us all on a stringed instrument.
You're so right, David Gilmour is so talented 👏 and Thank you so much for watching
Great choice Blessing love that mid part bass, unfortunately no one writes music like this anymore???
Thank you so much. Sadly no one writes music like this anymore . Thank you so much for watching and commenting ❤️
Another great reaction! It’s refreshing to see someone react that truly “ gets it”. Keep the Pink Floyd reactions coming. I look forward to to them/you.
Thank you so much 💓 and I will keep reacting to Pink Floyd , they're my favourite band . Also thank you for watching 😊
