1994, Tampa, Fl. 3rd row, front and center. The fireballs blasted out from Dogs of War song, almost burnt our eyebrows! LOL. saw them in Orlando, Fl in 1988. Best show ever ❤….A different time. At 53 now, I’m fortunate to have seen live concerts back in the day. Pink Floyd always the best live ever. Eye candy, love to the ears ❤
Right near the end of the song bass player guy Pratt running in place always cracks me up!! Talk about having a great time as a musician I think it comes out through Mr Pratt!!
Greetings from Canada. To replicate what they've done in studio, live they have to add a guitarist (here, Tim Renwick of Quiver), keys (Jon Carin) and percussion (Gary Wallis) to the core of Gilmour, Mason, Wright and Guy Pratt. Peace, love and bellbottoms.
Loving your journey down the rabbit hole! If you want to stick with the PULSE show, and get a nice little surprise from David's guitar, try Keep Talking (the 2019 remastered re-edited version). It's one of my favorites from this show.
Hi Dave. Nice reaction. Please don't comment during playing, it interrupts the music and don't pause solos! Last year was the 50th Anniversary of Dark Side of the Moon. PF published, on here, a remix of it (as an album) and also one of the first live performances of it in its entirity - both are worth seeking out and saved me breaking my anniversary boxed set. You've got the bug now, which is great. Brit Floyd, as others have said, do a great job. I've seen them a few times.
Pulse is outstanding but if you want to see the main band line-up playing live in an ancient Roman Amphitheatre with No Audience, No Lights, No Pyrotechnics just Gods playing to the Gods Pink Floyd "Echoes (Part 1)" live at Pompeii 1972
If you want a song that rocks, and also gives you a good idea what it was like watching the brain-melting light show, try reacting to the PULSE version of "One Of These Days".
Saw Floyd here in Melbourne in '88. I don't think the stage spectacular was QUITE as enormous as it is here, but close, and that show is etched into my brain as one of the greatest live music experiences of my life. Arguably THE greatest. On another note, you must check out a bloke by the name of Devin Townsend. Check him out, react to him, thank me later...
That particular concert is burnt into my brain....... I couldn't go of course, i had to work. But i paid for my wife to go and take a friend and shout her dinner. Found out her friend was a multi millionaire boy friend who had bought her loyalty with cold cash and a promise of living like a queen. lol
Now you know and will never tire of PINK FLOYD you are now a fan till you die and into the great beyond Enjoy And if you ever want to have a Floyd Like experience i recommend seeing Brit Floyd or if you get the Chance David Gilmour is going on tour This year and Starting at Royal Albert Hall ...See him this might be your last chance to see a Guitar God in the flesh and you will not regret the cost it will be life changing ...I know they changed my Life seeing them in the 80s Momentary Lapse tour and 90s Division Bell tour And seen Brit Floyd 4 times here in LONDON Ontario also well worth the price...So you have a chance now to experience a Floyd Like night ...Good Luck hope you go for it ...I know i am going to when he comes to Canada
The music is far too complex for 3 band members and a hired bass player to play......not many can play 2 or 4 different instruments at the same moment in time. lol For Wish You Were Here, the hired guitarist does most of the intro so David can burst in on the highlights ( both on accoustic ), then after some vocals David adds some Spanish and Flamenco guitar then to finnish, David sings the notes he is playing on the guitar.......a concert highlight that they perfected in this concert. Im sure you don't know The Great Gig In The Sky ? TIME and The Great Gig go together as 2 very different parts of one song......The Great Gig is the end of our own personal time, from denial, anger and fear to gentle acceptance. All music lovers are blown away by the Great Gig, and even though the original recording with Clare Torre on vocals is the best version, i recommend you do Time and The Great Gig from Pulse together, as they are meant to be.

There is art. There is music. There is sculpture. There is Pink Floyd.

Nick Mason is the drummer, Gary Wallis is a percussionist that accompanied them on tours.

My son introduced me to listen to Pink Floyd and my son has the concert video on PULSE. David Gilmore is the best. I like song RUN LIKE HELL. 😊😊😊😊

We were going mental because we knew this was the last song!🏴
