  • “We’re all trying to restart our lives. We have fallen down, and we’re learning how to get up again,” says Karen Carter. She is a veteran who lost her home after she got divorced. Today, she lives in a veterans’ village made up of tiny homes in Kansas City, Missouri. It’s a neighborly place where people look out for each other. Mark Solomon, a REALTOR®, co-founded the Veterans Community Project, using his skills as both a real estate professional and a veteran to provide transitional housing to veterans who need a fresh start.

Too bad this problem exists in the first place.

Too bad we don't have a program like this to solve homelessness nationwide. Studies show that just putting a roof over homeless people's heads helps the community, and it's the moral and humanitarian thing to do.

Spending $900+ billion on the “War in Afghanistan” instead of taking care of our vets and our homeless

The government doesn't like this idea because Uncle Sam doesn't get his cut, it's sad and pathetic.

It’s so sad that our society is so greedy that we can’t even help those that allow us to be greedy. They protect us and yet they live on the streets. It’s horrible.

We need this in Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom or better yet, the rest of the world.
