- “We’re all trying to restart our lives. We have fallen down, and we’re learning how to get up again,” says Karen Carter. She is a veteran who lost her home after she got divorced. Today, she lives in a veterans’ village made up of tiny homes in Kansas City, Missouri. It’s a neighborly place where people look out for each other. Mark Solomon, a REALTOR®, co-founded the Veterans Community Project, using his skills as both a real estate professional and a veteran to provide transitional housing to veterans who need a fresh start.

Too bad this problem exists in the first place.
Too bad we don't have a program like this to solve homelessness nationwide. Studies show that just putting a roof over homeless people's heads helps the community, and it's the moral and humanitarian thing to do.
Spending $900+ billion on the “War in Afghanistan” instead of taking care of our vets and our homeless
That’s what you call a helpful person, this is so wholesome!
Veterans should never be homeless

The government doesn't like this idea because Uncle Sam doesn't get his cut, it's sad and pathetic.
Fought for country and became homeless. Now people finding them home. Wholesome.
There shouldn't be homeless people, we all deserve a roof.
It’s so sad that our society is so greedy that we can’t even help those that allow us to be greedy. They protect us and yet they live on the streets. It’s horrible.
How do I get this going in my area? Thia needs to be a nationwide movement.
To all veterans watching this, thank you for your service
Volunteering with this organization has Ben THE MOST fulfilling action in the oast year of my life. A veteran myself, it's ineffable to put into words what this organization is doing for veterans!!
It's a shame that people whom served for the country got to get homeless and helpless from the government
My step mom just retired a few days ago, December 6 2019, and ik this will never happen to her but I hurts me to think it could and the fact that other heros of our nation are suffering through this
