This was both good foreshadowing, irrational, missed opportunity and bad character development. Illogical in that Tyr had no problem finding people to care about him even among his own species and why he always hated Andromeda’sAI was foolish. If anything the more persons around him the greater the danger as all of them (the ai and males) ultimately took shots at him. Foreshadowing in that this was his supposed reason he left after making a power base for himself. Bad character building and a Missed opportunity in this should have been a bonding situation as it is in both’s interest to get along anfpd the best moments with him was when he was more in the bonding mode!
Friendship and hotness did not help him any in the end, meeting his doom in a bottomless pit on a planet in an alternate universe where nothing makes sense. SPOILER ALERT
