The most detailed explanation of proper use of tension I've seen/heard, thanks. Learning a great deal from your content
People have a variety of goals for their channels. My goal is to teach and make the hobby accessible to everyone. I'm very glad that you appreciate the videos!
Your instructions are clear and informative. Have the tools but wasn't sure of use. You cleared that up and I finally opened my first American 1100. Thanks.
Hey! Congrats on opening your first 1100! That's a great milestone!
Great video, I really like your explanations and demonstrations! This is a wonderful series! Thanks!
Hey! Thank you! I truly appreciate your support, and I'm glad you find the series useful!
@@pugspickslocksVery much so! even as I progress, beginner tips and tricks are still the most important thing to remember and reflect on as they give a great foundation to work from! Thank you!
Hey, I checked out your new channel and I'm impressed with your talent and skills!
@@pugspickslocksThank you so much for that! The confidence boost i've gotten from doing this is unbelievable! Interacting with everyone here and taking in all the great information that is out there, has given me a whole new drive and sense of satisfaction and enjoyment!!! This is an amazing experience! I love your content btw and have found it very useful!
I totally agree that the world of Locksport is expansive and welcoming! And thank you, I work hard on planning the videos, so I'm glad you find it useful!
Thanks for making things as clear as you do. I actually have an American and an Abus Titalium 80TI/50 that i picked up way too early in my journey, and they are kind of my Everest and K2 if you will.🤪
Hey, I started using my half diamond and actually had some success on my Defiant deadbolts! For whatever reason, I didn't think it would be a useful pick, but thanks so much for urging me to try it!
Thank you for the compliment! I really want this to be an educational channel so clear explanations are what I strive for.
I'm glad that half-diamond is working out for you! I find that the pointed tip really helps when moving between pins, you can feel the valley between the pins, making it easy to find the next one.
Another great video ougs mate. Have a great week buddy 👌🤜🤛🫶👍😁
Thank you Nick! I appreciate you and your support, Brother!
@@pugspickslocks always a pleasure mate, all the best to you and yours 🫶
Great explanations and demos. I also love the answer-light or heavy tension? It depends. lol
It does seem kinda like equivocating, but so much of the advice I see out there is binary. Either light or heavy. Folks like Lockpicking Lawyer and Bosnian Bill extol heavy tension. And so many others say light. They're all good pickers, prolly better than me, but listening to the lock is the only way that I've been able to have any success.
@@pugspickslocks In many parts of life, neither end is necessarily best. Via media is often the best (though the hardest to find!) Oh, philosophy and locksport intersecting!!
You have no idea how cool it is to know that you're as big a nerd as I am!
@@pugspickslocks 😁Any time. That's probably part of why I love your stuff so much.
