The engine produces a maximum peak output power of 64.00 HP (46.7 kW) @ 5200 RPM and a maximum torque of . With this drive-train, the Harley-Davidson FXST 1340 Softail is capable of reaching a maximum top speed of 174.0 km/h (108.1 mph) .
