My first motorcycle was a 1966 CZ [Jawa} sold by Eaton's in Vancouver Canada as a Road King. It was a 125 c.c. and given to me by my mother as a grad present. Its nice to know that there is at least one left in this world. Great job, thank you!
Fascinating, so healing to see the loving care and tender rendering, like surgeons and nurses. What an amazing team you have gathered. Most people would not hav bothered with such a small motor displacement. Professionally done start to finish.
I do the same but with classic speed boats. Haul them out of the weeds and turn them into something loved again. Basic tools (lucky you has a sandblaster), a small garage and most of it is done in my driveway. I rebuild or restore everything that is still there and can be salvaged. Do almost everything myself, upholstery, paint, electrics, motors, drive rebuilds. Motor machine work and chrome goes out to be done but that is about all. I know the time and energy and dedication to do something like this. It's so easy to start a project like this and give up at some point a thousand times over. Great work!!

Actually, it was in quite a good shape. Most of the main parts were just rusty and for these motorcycles you can get almost every part either genuine or remanufactured.
@@christopherbedford9897 👍 many spare parts were exchanged for new ones. And some parts were not original. It's about the price. Such a motorcycle in excellent (original) condition can cost up to 10,000 euros. (i think this guy is from Slovakia)
So good to see that old CZ brought back to life. I had a 175cc CZ enduro/trail bike back in the 70s, I loved that bike, those big flywheels and the long stroke of that 2 stroke engine made for a great combination on the trails. Beautiful work on the restoration, thanks for sharing your work.
Very nice my friend. I know it took time, sweat, money, patience so thanks for filming every step! So many young people don't understand what goes into a restoration you video will help with that. Peace
Amazing Restoration, such a lot of work. Every piece excellently restored. You turned a scrapheap into a work of art. Many congrats amigo. Salud de Cordoba Argentina.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
You guys never fail to amaze me that is an incredible job you have done there to that old wreck of a motorbike I can only imagine the hard work you put into it, well done an incredible job.
Nice Job.. I noticed In the test ride, The front brakes were not hooked up, no cable running to it.. Still an awesome job, without a shop full of tools.. About 33 years ago (1990) I found a 1953 Indian Chief 1,300 cc It was a barn find, all the metal and paint was in quite remarkable condition, It was covered with about 10 or more blankets, The guy I bought it from said it was his grandfathers, he bought it brand new road in twice before going to the Korean war, he died 2 months after getting there and the war ended 2 months latter.. The family completely forgot about the bike, I was doing a remodeling their house and found the bike in the barn, I told the homeowners and said I was interested in it if they would part with it, That's when they told me the story, that being said They asked if I would take $1,100.00 off my price for remodeling the house, I did and about 3 years later I finished redoing the bike, I did a few modern upgrades, like a toe shift, a starter, bored the cylinders out to make it a bit more powerful.. I had to completely do all new wiring (rats ate through them and chewed up the seat.. The fuel & oil tank was fine. all the paint on it only had to be washed and buffed, no scratches, rust or damage.. Loved that bike.. I sold it last year for $75,000.00.. Sorry for babbling on.. Thank you for sharing..
If you got $75k for a 53'Chief you got more than double what it is worth today. It is just beyond my why those 80ci Chiefs that production is documented at 1200 units don't pull what say a very common 47' knuckle will. Nice riding bike unbelievable torque, great classic lines. As I said beyond me
Good job my friend ,you did a great job on this Project , and you transformed it into a brand new motorcycle .It looks like when it first came out of the factory just like new . God gave you a great talent a man
I did this same restoration on a 1973 Bultaco M103 250 MX and it was very nice to ride it after it was just left in a junk pile for decades. It was also right hand shifter.
Ran across your channel quite by accident but it sure put me in a nostalgic mood. My father restored motorcycles for decades - specifically Ariels (& his father's Reading Standard). He died in 2016 at 97 years old.

It’s incredible that that bike could be brought back, but it DOES use a lot of replacement parts! Still, it’s a rare bike and unusual. That makes it worth every penny in my mind. I should have done this kind of work. I love making old things new again!
These Men must have women that are very supportive, so I am guessing and hope I am wrong , but this must have been restored in a foreign land. Amazing Work.

Anything's possible, with enough money.
Real point to ponder is, is it worth it?

Very well done, a proper restoration job, unlike a lot on utube that are just a rattle can resto. Congrats beautiful bike. Pinstripes by hand, wow 👍
Unbelievable! How you returned a junk motorcycle back to excellent condition was amazing to watch. You are a very talented mechanic and painter!
A lot of after market parts.

That's a gorgeous "blue" to compliment the chrome! Nice choice in colours.
Beautiful work. As a modeler of many years, I see a lot of related works here. Only much bigger facilities. And the effect always brings a smile.

Seems it is cheaper to buy a similar used bike that still runs than to restore a completely broken one.
