Director's Cut In this video, I tweaked some bugs and details, such as a lightning bolt hook, door locks that I forgot about, darker ventilation pipes, and more. Enjoy watching!
@Noah Bentley I doubt you can prove it, however look at the other toy car restoration vids that pop up after this one ends... they all look EXACTLY like this one pre-restoration.
As a huge BTTF fan this warmed my heart. Think of how many lost delorian toys there are, and we finally have someone to put time and effort into it. W video
God it makes me cry for a toy like that to be like that. It makes me cry each time I see that. But thank goodness restorers like you are here to save the day, awesome ^^
@@johndelorean7353 I thought that too, explains why every car he restores is identically rusty and with the same amount of damage. The final product is cool either way.
I don't know if anyone's tell you this but I can tell you what sir, this video here brought me to tears. The time and dedication and work and tools that went into this project was just plain fascinating. People keep forgetting with a little hard work, determination, a little bit imaginary, pretty much fix anything. Great job sir. You made this man feel like a little boy again. 👍👍
ООООООООООоооооо!!! Это шедевр!!! Вы не представляете, как я ностальгировала до слёз, года смотрела на Делореан в ваших руках))) Спасибо что подарили возможность разглядеть шедевральную машину времени во всех подробностях!
I watch a lot of your videos and always find em so intricate with detail and the patience u have is beyond me cause i get so impatient with glues and paints. I often work on 2 or 3 cars while 1 car will set and dry for a 24 hour period. Your masking is superb. I'll peel my tape off after a spray and notice paint has somehow still managed to seep past the masking tape, and i just give up. Every last detail from the carpeting you filter in to the wiring and harnasses or adding in the straps to the gullwing doors is just awesome work for hand detailing and far greater than the original piece.
Thank you! To prevent the paint from getting under the masks, glue them as tightly as possible and try to spray the paint in thin layers, do not flood it too much at once ;-)
Can we give this guy props for making his models looked destroyed he doesnt restore them he makes them looks like they've been sitting for years its actually super annoying he uses restore for the titles lol. I appreciate the art in you making them look terrible that's incredible itself.
If that's what you would like? I mean can you not handle criticism? You do great art work but I call bullshit you find these like this lmao some of these toys aren't even that old to get even close to the erosion you show. Just saying that's all but I can unsubscribe and unfollow if you would like since your a sensitive artist whom by the way I'm complimenting lmao ASS!!!
@@perch0007 I agree. The second I saw the "destroyed" Delorean it felt like something was off. It was uniformly aged, even the parts that were hidden and protected by other parts showed the same amount of ageing and deterioration. The work he does is great and to be honest the ageing part is very good too but yeah, I don't buy it.

I did a double take last Saturday. I was leaving church parking lot and there was this stream of cars going by keeping the road busy. Car after car. And down the way I could see flashing blue /red lights so I was thinking oh an accident and traffic is diverting. But many of the cars were odd makes and older and I was confused. And then drives by this lovely well maintained DeLorean. At that point I realized it was a parade of older beauties and such and they had to be doing some move from A to B. Sure enough eventually the line is trailed by two cop cars lights flashing ensuring no one tried to enter or get past the line. But it was still amazing to see a DMC drive by
Absolutely fabulous demonstration of understanding, authenticity and masterful attention to detail - in this restoration. High production values in this vid - also evident. Super-cool.

Great Scott! thanks to this man for restoring the time machine even adding impressive detail now I can hit 88 mph with 1.21 gigiwats. anyways very impressive well done.
O know the trick with the Rug... glue and the little rug pieces.. when i was akind, we made the same but with with green pieces and made grass for our dioramas. After glueing we just magnetized a piece of steele and moved above the grass so it stood up and looked like real :)
Wow, That was a pleasure to watch! Your attention to detail is marvellous. Turned a fairly cheap mass produced kid's toy into a valuable ornament. I want one!! 👍😀
Great job! if I had something old for u to restore I would ship it to u and ig u can keep it its new trophy for your restored collection. anyway good job on the DeLorean

yeah it would give nice effect what would seems that car was lost in time and was just sitting somewhere long time until someone found it look :D

I honestly didn't expect this to look THIS good, given what you started with. What you did for the cloth interior is brilliant!

He started with a brand new one, then weathered it
Mixed feelings here, clearly this was a new piece that was weathered to look destroyed, but the repaint and remodeling is well done.🤔
