When this drama first started a few months ago, he was painting MHJ as some brave righteous lady against this big bad company. He was doing this even after her chats came out. When people pointed out the facts to him about how MHJ is not a good person and all her wrong doings and asked him why he was supporting her and lying about the case to make her look good, he either straight up deleted comments or replied to them in a very rude tone. Which, btw the commenters weren't rude to him at all so he had no reason to be so mean but i guess being meanspirited comes as a package deal for tokkis. He was being all "try me. Both you and Nathan didn't understand the ADOR lawsuit. They didn't sue NewJeans. They went to court to get legal confirmation that the contract with NewJeans is still valid. The way they worded their announcement should clarify what they're trying to do; they want to keep working with NewJeans. ADOR could have chosen to fire NewJeans and sue them as parties to their suit against MHJ. It's certainly a messy position to take, but they have also made other statements defending NewJeans, such as vs. BeLift Lab. And yes, there's certainly still an upside to keep working with NewJeans if they can convince the girls. I would like to believe there are people at HYBE who genuinely still care about them and want them to leave MHJ to set things right. But we'll see how all of this goes.

I am neutral on this. I feel your opinions are skewed towards favouring the immaturity or inexperienced of NewJeans. Although I agree that the handling of the situation by NewJeans may be fast-handed and could be handled in a more robust (legally logic) manner. I also feel strongly that many idols preceding them and after them have continuously voiced out frustration regarding systemic and corporate mistreatment. To assume that NewJeans may not be mistreated cause they have privileges is a fallacy. But to assume that mistreatment is not a substantive reason for termination is also not conclusive. As the case so far, neither NewJeans nor Ador (Hybe) have provided any sort of evidence to suggest “right” treatment, or mistreatment. Yes there are reports that ador have violated the privacy of NewJeans members but it’s not a robust claim. Yes, there are reports that Hybe treats NewJeans with substantial privileges but it’s not a fool-proof defence argument against mistreatment allegation. There are simply too many unknowns in this case yet the general public are so fast to side with one side of argument regardless of you, or internetsnathan. Until a proper investigation, or legal hearing on this. We may never know conclusively what’s the actual truth is. Don’t jump to conclusions.

NJ’s saying that their contract is terminated doesn’t mean it is, especially since NJ’s haven’t filed contract termination with the Courts. When we talk or say valid criticism, facts, or evidence we are called Hybe Stans or Pro-Hybe.

No they didn't. The "personal information" was their practice video before they were NJ and emails of them reaching out to MHJ to get her to work with the pre-NJs group. Remember, MHJ said that she discovered them and BSH sabotaged her to make Lesserafim debut first. The video proved that MHJ lied and NJs were part of Source Music. When people say their personal information was leaked, I always ask what specifically was leaked? They never have a logical answer.

the more you actually read KG's lawsuit, it's get more and more like cultural difference... Trainers to KG seems harsh, but I assumed it would be the same trainers as the A2K ones... They payment was spelled out in the contract. The overtime she alleged was more of her own time to catch up to the rest of the team. I think it was her mom that wanted to pull her out, the 500k debt specifically, because they don't understand how the Kpop Idol payment. Not sure why they would complain about it now though... The self deletion and self harm, was just something to pull sympathy to her case, and then her doing it for the kpop industry is that even more. In reality she wants to terminate her contract. If she thought she had a chance, she wouldn't have made it public, but her going public actually meant it's a long shot and she needed public pressure on JYPE USA.

KG’s actual mistreatment is also based on (allegedly) breaking California’s labor laws. Actual abuse should be fought against in SK too! Actual abuse and not just “another group’s manager told them to ignore me, mistreatment.” Lawsuit filings are actually public in California, and JYPE USA recently announced a comeback. A nosy person would have found the filing when she didn’t show up in the comeback, and then she’d be dealing with the press on the back foot. Her lawyer probably advised her to write the brief statement to get ahead of the issue.
The trainer was korean so I get the cultural differences there but withholding water while she is doing constant physical activities is inexcusable no matter what! She could have passed out and that shouldn't be taken lightly. Idk how much that could be exaggerated but that was my main issue from all the claims.

Clearly you don't understand the way contracts work.There is no "because I say so" clause that automatically terminates a contract. NJ is claiming that Ador violated the contract and so they can terminate it "because we said so", but that's not how it works. Ador is disputing the fact that they have violated the contract and so now NJ must prove that Ador violated it in court. That's literally what legally binding documents are intended to do. For example, a marriage is a legally binding contract. But you can't just decide to divorce someone, sign some papers and say "we're divorced now" at that very moment. That's not how it works. The other party can dispute this and then the matter ends up in court. Just off of the top of my head, I think of Kim Kardashian and her marriage with that basketball player guy as an example. It took like 3 years for her divorce to go through.

They are suing to verify the validity of their contract. They're two very different things.

I think a lot of ppl didnt understand what he was saying and took him out of context. I hope you understand that Hybe/Ador are trying to discredit MHJ and NJ in preparation for the inevitable court case. I also hope you understand that there is no beneficial reason for any of these parties to give evidence to the public or youtubers because it is the Korean judicial system that will decide this case. What about the national assembly though? Hani was literally called to testify about workplace harassment and all she had was "a manager from another label might have told someone to ignore me this one time". If there was anything else or any actual evidence that would have been the perfect time to lay it out but she didn't do that. Also, NJ themselves have been claiming that there is more and that they will reveal it but they still haven't done that either. It would be perfectly understandable for them to say that they can't reveal anything because they're anticipating legal action or whatever (though it still wouldn't make sense that they didn't bring this evidence to the national assembly), but they themselves have been teasing it so when they don't follow through it seems shady. When this drama first started a few months ago, he was painting MHJ as some brave righteous lady against this big bad company. He was doing this even after her chats came out. Both you and Nathan didn't understand the ADOR lawsuit. They didn't sue NewJeans. They went to court to get legal confirmation that the contract with NewJeans is still valid.
The way they worded their announcement should clarify what they're trying to do; they want to keep working with NewJeans. ADOR could have chosen to fire NewJeans and sue them as parties to their suit against MHJ.
It's certainly a messy position to take, but they have also made other statements defending NewJeans, such as vs. BeLift Lab. And yes, there's certainly still an upside to keep working with NewJeans if they can convince the girls. I would like to believe there are people at HYBE who genuinely still care about them and want them to leave MHJ to set things right. But we'll see how all of this goes.

I also feel strongly that many idols preceding them and after them have continuously voiced out frustration regarding systemic and corporate mistreatment.
To assume that NewJeans may not be mistreated cause they have privileges is a fallacy. But to assume that mistreatment is not a substantive reason for termination is also not conclusive.
As the case so far, neither NewJeans nor Ador (Hybe) have provided any sort of evidence to suggest “right” treatment, or mistreatment. Yes there are reports that ador have violated the privacy of NewJeans members but it’s not a robust claim. Yes, there are reports that Hybe treats NewJeans with substantial privileges but it’s not a fool-proof defence argument against mistreatment allegation.
There are simply too many unknowns in this case yet the general public are so fast to side with one side of argument regardless of you, or internetsnathan. Until a proper investigation, or legal hearing on this. We may never know conclusively what’s the actual truth is.

NJ’s saying that their contract is terminated doesn’t mean it is, especially since NJ’s haven’t filed contract termination with the Courts. No they didn't. The "personal information" was their practice video before they were NJ and emails of them reaching out to MHJ to get her to work with the pre-NJs group. Remember, MHJ said that she discovered them and BSH sabotaged her to make Lesserafim debut first. The video proved that MHJ lied and NJs were part of Source Music. When people say their personal information was leaked, I always ask what specifically was leaked? They never have a logical answer.

the more you actually read KG's lawsuit, it's get more and more like cultural difference... Trainers to KG seems harsh, but I assumed it would be the same trainers as the A2K ones... They payment was spelled out in the contract. The overtime she alleged was more of her own time to catch up to the rest of the team. I think it was her mom that wanted to pull her out, the 500k debt specifically, because they don't understand how the Kpop Idol payment. Not sure why they would complain about it now though... The self deletion and self harm, was just something to pull sympathy to her case, and then her doing it for the kpop industry is that even more. In reality she wants to terminate her contract. If she thought she had a chance, she wouldn't have made it public, but her going public actually meant it's a long shot and she needed public pressure on JYPE USA.

Lawsuit filings are actually public in California, and JYPE USA recently announced a comeback. A nosy person would have found the filing when she didn’t show up in the comeback, and then she’d be dealing with the press on the back foot. Her lawyer probably advised her to write the brief statement to get ahead of the issue.
The trainer was korean so I get the cultural differences there but withholding water while she is doing constant physical activities is inexcusable no matter what! She could have passed out and that shouldn't be taken lightly. Idk how much that could be exaggerated but that was my main issue from all the claims.

Clearly you don't understand the way contracts work.There is no "because I say so" clause that automatically terminates a contract. NJ is claiming that Ador violated the contract and so they can terminate it "because we said so", but that's not how it works. Ador is disputing the fact that they have violated the contract and so now NJ must prove that Ador violated it in court. That's literally what legally binding documents are intended to do. For example, a marriage is a legally binding contract. But you can't just decide to divorce someone, sign some papers and say "we're divorced now" at that very moment. That's not how it works. The other party can dispute this and then the matter ends up in court. Just off of the top of my head, I think of Kim Kardashian and her marriage with that basketball player guy as an example. It took like 3 years for her divorce to go through.

You say that he speaks the truth but he can't even get basic facts right? I've never seen anything by him before but just that 10 second clip was enough to show that he doesn't know what he is talking about. Ador is not "suing New Jeans". They are suing to verify the validity of their contract. They're two very different things.

It’s true by the way Nathan. The problem is not you taking with NJ. But defending MHJ when she is wrong it’s not a good look. And I will continue to say that even if I still think that Hybe labels are not saint and should have handle the situation better by not leaking private videos and it’s just one of the example that I take to say that Hybe is also wrong.

I think a lot of ppl didnt understand what he was saying and took him out of context.
I hope you understand that Hybe/Ador are trying to discredit MHJ and NJ in preparation for the inevitable court case.
I also hope you understand that there is no beneficial reason for any of these parties to give evidence to the public or youtubers because it is the Korean judicial system that will decide this case.
And the lack of legal understanding by some of the comments made here is astounding.
What about the national assembly though? Hani was literally called to testify about workplace harassment and all she had was "a manager from another label might have told someone to ignore me this one time". If there was anything else or any actual evidence that would have been the perfect time to lay it out but she didn't do that. Also, NJ themselves have been claiming that there is more and that they will reveal it but they still haven't done that either. It would be perfectly understandable for them to say that they can't reveal anything because they're anticipating legal action or whatever (though it still wouldn't make sense that they didn't bring this evidence to the national assembly), but they themselves have been teasing it so when they don't follow through it seems shady. It makes me feel like the ignoring thing was their best 'evidence' and, since people aren't buying that, they're too scared to come forward with anything else.

I cant say if Hanni is telling the truth or not as i did not experience what she claims to have.
But i do know this;
Her claim if it is a lie, is defamation in Sth Korea...so one needs to ask these questionsl;
1. why has the manager/be;lift not taken her to court if she is lying.
2. why have non of the iLLiT members made any statements on this matter, and its only the company reps speaking for them.
3. why has the missing footage of the time Hanni claimed to happen went missing/got erased? Who has access to this footage.
Any data on a hard drive can be retrieved, if the ppl controlling that hard drive wants a professional to retrieve it, then it wont be so difficult.
Im assuming Hanni doesnt have access to that hard drive as Ador and her have said they requested it.
TLDR; The video footage was deliberately deleted/erased, and that tells you all you need to know.
