Thank you for the video. I just hoped we focused more on what is right or wrong in Islam, not in a culture. For example, having skin contact with a non mahram man is sinful, and also we can't say if for that we will go to hell or not. Only Allah knows who will end up in hell and who in heaven. About neqab, it is said that if a country is so full of fitna that a woman is not save even with a hejab (men are staring at women and harass them) then niqab is also recommended. However, at countries like USA it is not necessary I think.

Hmmm very interesting. I appreciate the sister coming on to explain these videos as well as the Kenji and Yuahn for keeping an open mind and absorbing all this information. Distinguishing between culture and religion is one of the things that i think muslim struggle with a lot and I see this in this sister. Remember the Hadith:
"What is lawful is evident and what is unlawful is evident, and in between them are the things doubtful which many people do not know. So he who guards against doubtful things keeps his religion and honour blameless, and he who indulges in doubtful things indulges in fact in unlawful things, just as a shepherd who pastures his animals round a preserve will soon pasture them in it"
What is halal and haram is very clear cut. Islam is clear cut. Human will be humans, so explaining concepts based on what muslim do rather than what Islam clearly says is very misleading in my opinion. I know it's hard to keep that line clear especially in this day and age where we are already perceived as "extremists" for following the religion, but what's fact is fact.
edit: Also, her explaining some things as "extreme" just rubbed me the wrong way. we already get enough of that from non-muslims

Personally, I think there’s a lot of misunderstanding happening in this video. It’s pretty confusing for non-Muslims to understand. Also, this might be due to differences in mazhab, right? We have four different mazhab.

I'm sorry to say this though I'm nobody to judge except for Allah (swt) but this is not Islam truly it's more likely the representation of cultures, getting intimate before marraige is absolutely forbidden considered one of the worst sins so it might be countries and their cultures but not our Religion Islam and sex definitely does not depend on families, about niqab it is a part of hijab but it's not as serious as not wearing hijab on head it's just to protect woman, also girlie we are suppose to sit a little away from man. But anyways May Allah guide you more you seems like a good practicing Muslim. Also nothing in the reels were extremist it's just the different way of following Islam. We can't judge maybe someone is better than us.

God is not human God does not have a Son God is what gave us life and we are here only to worship him and to pass this worldly life and if we succeed we achieve heaven and if we don’t we go to hell it’s simple
