NewJeans Drama EXPOSED: Choreographers Quit, Content Canceled, & Lawsuits Heat Up!
It's sad to see that NJ waste an opportunity, that would make 99% of people happy. If they want to go, nobody can stop them. However, they should do it properly trough negogitation and court, instead of social media posts. They are doing only drama, not music, while other girl groups working hard.
Girl, imagine someone falling in love with a virtual idol… “Oh my goodness, I love what she has to offer. I love her inside and out, just like those gigabytes” 😩😩😩😩
Benefits: Real idols are safe and don’t have to deal with the hate and crazy netizens The downside: They’re not real lmao
Wow, Knetz just get worse and worse. They're young too. I think they're absolutely beautiful and adorable, how can you call them ugly?? These people need to actually think before speaking.
I mean he got invited backstage by Jay Park how mas he a creep
I remember when Plave won over real people. It was so unfair. Like why are drawings winning? Like yeah sure people drawed and animated them, but I won’t call them kpop. So they should have not win kpop awards or music shows. Like cartoons don’t have to sing or dance. The dance is animated from before and they normally just use the same animation over and over. If there are real singers who used their voices then there is still no way to know if they actually sing live. All we see are some cartoons and we can’t tell if they lipsync or not.
Ik 2025 will be itzy's year 😭💗
Problem with ITZY is the same for a very long time: average or even bad title track, but gems in the b-tracks. JYP always choose the song that "sounds" ITZY at the expense of the better songs.
This whole drama makes me sad. NewJeans are likely finished. I hope that the members will be able to leverage their past success into something else that will work for their lives. They should have some good options, but I suspect their time as idols is done. Maybe leaving the scene abruptly like this is for the best. Even if somehow they do continue, they are probably already past their peak, which seems like it was in 2023. When you burn as bright as they did, it can't last long.
I pray theyre blacklisted
I really hope these types of videos have more information/ research to back up the argument, because it's very hard to convince me otherwise, plave is literally one of the biggest new-ish boy groups last year, virtual or not. Like yes, the production may be expensive - but how is that compare to a traditional Kpop group?
@@hiroooni Virtual K-pop idols like PLAVE or MAVE have potential, but traditional K-pop groups still dominate in terms of revenue and longevity. Traditional idols earn income from diverse sources like album sales, world tours, TV shows, endorsements, fan events, Bubble-like platforms, ambassadorships, and solo projects. Virtual idols may sell albums and explore collaborations, but they lack the same level of engagement and flexibility. While traditional idols require expenses like training, styling, and accommodations, virtual idols come with significant costs too-advanced technology, animators, and developers. For example, a typical dance practice for traditional idols can be filmed in a day, but for virtual idols, it may take 4-5 days with a larger technical team. These costs add up quickly, and if their album sales don’t perform well, it can be harder to recover the investment. Traditional groups also have stronger fan engagement, often achieving higher MV views and fan participation, even when the music isn’t as strong. Virtual idols might struggle with long-term sustainability if their revenue can’t cover the extensive costs of production. In contrast, traditional idols have more ways to generate income and opportunities to improve after a weaker comeback.
Feeling Bad For These Girls Who Sacrificed Their Childhood To Become A Artists. They Shouldn't Ruin Their Career/Future. At Least Their Parents Should Save The Girls From Disaster.
Might as well just be a video game
Yeah like pubg there had so many hit songs
correct me if im wrong but at least PLAVE are real people behind the screen but I don't think Naevis or MAVE will last as they just aren't real and can't connect with fans the way other groups do.
Mave is also real person behind the singers is real people but they don’t show their face so virtual idols appear
Neavis atleast is just a part of Aespa’s lore. She is supposed to be from a virtual world. But atleast we have real people that are the Aespa members.
Bottom line is that AI can never replace the feelings of being human and relatabillity which is what creates a solid fanbase.
Shdhjsjs 😂😂😂maybe bc they did NOT sell 700k. Their last album barely did 500k sales after 4 months. The capacity of their "concert" is 5k ppl after reducing. Let's not mention their streams and views on Spotify and UA-cam. If you call this a top or successful group maybe you need to check what these words mean in the vocabulary
@@Vosee-k5d Itzy did sold 700 k on circle and more than 550 k on hanteo? are you on drugs? itzy collect more than 500 k people for last world tour. itzy did not pay ad for mv that is why the view is small, but their stream on youtube music is really high. imaginary friend already surpased 36 million. please check your brain. it must be left somewhere.
As of January 22, 2025, ITZY’s ninth mini album, “Gold,” has sold over 580,000 copies on the Hanteo chart. In South Korea, the album has achieved total sales of approximately 705,440 copies, according to the Circle Album Chart. Additionally, “Gold” has been certified 2× Platinum by the Korea Music Content Association (KMCA).
@@saintnicholas7812 funny how you skip the parts you don't like but are true 😂😂😂
@@Xiwangloo denial is river in Egypt
@saintnicholas7812 they sold 500k and you can check it on the official sites. Wanting to believe so bad that they are not flopping is pathetic
This is what I've been saying. I hate this new trend of calling any group that doesn't hit a megabillion views the first 24h and 568853328 streams on its first week a "flop". The most affected group about that is, of course, Itzy, but I've also seen it for Twice, Nmixx, or Ive. All of them haven't got hundreds of millions of views in their latest comebacks, but they still sell out concert tickets on their world tours and break their previous album sales records. How tf is that a flop?? Just because a group doesn't break the Internet, their song doesn't go viral on tiktok, or they don't get 100M views in the first 24h, doesn't mean they're on a downfall. And don't make me start on how ridiculous it is to make UA-cam views the one and only marker for success. People just LOVE drama, and they love the idea of a once big star falling deep down into the abyss, so if they don't have one, they'll stir heaven and hell to make up their own martyrs so they can yap about how "the downfall of X artist needs to be studied 😨😭😱"
The definition of "flop" has long been butchered in the k-pop space. Itzy are obviously doing fine and capable of reaching the higher "ranks" again with the right songs. Recall that aespa was labeled "certified b-list" in an article as they were setting new records in gg album sales.
Hybe could do a lot worse and black ball them. All they getting right now is love taps. They best be glad they aren't from SM, as they would not have seen the light of day if they pulled this mess.
I feel like the only person who loves the song gold. Is it my fav Itzy song? No, but the performances of it really sold the song for me and I love it. People hate itzy for no reason and I 100% agree
Their discography is why they lost the attention of the GP including me. Bad music except for imaginary friend but thats it.
bbgirls / brave girls are not one hit wonder. rollin was one of the biggest songs in sk ever yes but they also have at least 2 other hits
Thank you for this video! All of the Itzy hate has already gotten really old and tired. People really have to start getting a life and worrying aboutt their own business
Is Kickflip members ugly??? Kyehoon - idk I love his visual (cool and cute) Amaru - (Best Smile )his smile can outshine everything Donghwa - Ice Prince Visual Juwang - cool and fresh looks Minje - Official 5th Gen Visual of the Visuals Keiju - Cuteness Overload 100000% cute looks Donghyeon - cute and fresh looks
The hate for newjeans is just comical at this point….god forbid any idol stand up for themselves….unless they are being SA’ed…..everything else isn’t mistreatment chile…I can’t with the hybe Stans no shade
@@scro910 you're right! This is a really confusing and complicated situation, so I personally don't want to pick sides. What I am certain, however, is that I WOULD NEVER stand by to bootlick multimillion dollar corporations. It's icky to see these people kiss HYBE and ADOR's asses.
It’s crazy how we are just openly bashing these girls for content and hybe bias nowadays….wasnt even a fan of them but this is ridiculous…..moral of the story for idols….dont ever break from the company esp if they house bts level acts cause their Stan’s will vilify you for standing up for yourself
They had like 3 bonafide hits. Stop labeling them as one hit wonders.
I used to be one of the fan trying to hit 100 million views but later on realized music should be fun and enjoyed not fight only.
I love Itzy and everything about them! I have every single album since debut.
When things you claim are lies its always be lie even they lie😁☺️
Itzy have loyal fanbase but fail to attract general public. It is like Seventeen, but Seventeen fans more rich. Seventeen fans especially in Japan bought all version of the album and only took the photocard. They thrown the CD to trash. The album sales very high but the streaming is low (compare to album sales). Not many fans, but their fans are loyal and rich.
Itzy is better off with having loyal fans. Having the general public isn't gonna help because majority if them will leave once they don't like a new song from them. Although its also good releasing a gp friendly music but I don't want them to be like newjeans & illit who really relies on the general public by making easy sounding songs to digest at a faster rate.
I just hoping this 2025 will be their great year like their debut era 🥹
The number of streams it takes to make the same revenue as a single physical sale is literally thousands of streams. Sure, having strong streaming numbers helps with marketing and buzz but when it comes to actually money, it's means almost nothing and in the end this is a business. They're selling hundreds of thousands per release, are selling tickets to full performances and fan meets and are still relevant to brands. As long as JYPE gets paid, itzy gets paid and they'll keep getting work.
Tbh i dont see the big deal, they dont want to work for ador no more. Let these girls be! Aint no reason to hate or choose sides. From what i know about kpop is that they over work these groups and the artist dont get to really live their actual lives. These companies squeeze as much as they can from groups and then thrown to the waste side if they dont work out or get irrelevant. Let these artist live and make their own choices.
Itzy indeed had a downfall BUT not that extreme like completely forgotten. They are still there but nit as before where they actually dominated the idol scene. What ITZY needs is more vocal lessons as wella s for the whole JYPE divisions to hire new better teams of songwriters, composers & producers. Again, ITZY did have a downfall & they're still fighting it but they're nowhere near the true definition of "flops".
i vote for nomorejeanz for their "new" name
Ephemera
Someone commented on Itzy that they are less in focus since when they began, they had less competition. I belive that's true. They were one of the Top Girl Groups back then, thus establishing high expectations. Later others were added to the mix who drew attention (like Aespa, Babymonster...) and now they have a lot more competition. So, compared to where they were in the pecking order, they fell quite a bit. However, I agree they have a solid fanbase and are still relevant and successful. I believe they sold out most of their tour? That equals success. For me personally, Itzy's Kill my Doubt was their best Album and they have great releases, especially in Japan. Their last two Releases (Gold and Born to be) didn't hold up to the high expectations I had. But I still have faith in them and Imaginary Friend was really good. I feel they could use a viral/exceptional title track to gain back the attention of casual listeners, who might have moved on to other groups.
Honestly should've sent these kids back to school
Please people support itzy i beg you
I am crying 😭 so much because everyone is not supporting itzy
Ofc not everyone is going to support them, but they do have a pretty solid core fan base.
Itzy is so successful
You people are so toxic and heartless to our itzy
Haters are gonna hate anyway.
Most of them are literally kids. They're going to grow into their faces once they reach their early 20s
First of all... every fan has right to say they flop. You can't blame us. They have their seniors breaking records back to back and jyp hasn't debuted any gg after twice since then. Its reasonabe why our expectations are high. Considering jyp was at peak during 2017-2019 everyone was expecting jyp is preparing his next hot new girl group.
Yes we can blame you because you guys obviously don’t know what flops are if they were flops they wouldn’t have good sales or be able to sell out concerts
Long-time, all-in Midzys know that Yeji asked this question once to JYP during a lunch while they were all in Los Angeles, years ago. "How do we stay on top?" JYP's answer is: you don't. Nobody can stay "on top" forever. What JYP is concerned with is longevity. He said make sure you continue to sing and dance well and to fill seats whenever you put on a show. Then you'll have a long career. The noisemakers online who regularly throw around the word 'flop' aren't worth anything to JYP and Itzy. They're not the ones going to concerts; they're not the ones buying albums; they're not the ones streaming. So from a business perspective, why should JYP care about them? They have a core group of Midzys that are supporting them and in the long term, that's who Itzy will be relying on for their longevity; not the k-space "influencers" whose support - and frankly understanding - of the group is shallower than a coat of paint.
Seconded that, speaking of longevity Twice are in their 10th year now and still going strong.
the candle that burn the brightest, burns the shortest
This. I think JYPE is more concerned with their groups having a strong core fanbase than being the new gp's darling. NMIXX is an interesting case because they are often called flops by kpop fans and would even mock their music but their fanconcerts in Korea last year sold out. They will also have a sold out concert in Japan even after that Dokdo controversy and even if they don't have a Japanese members. Their domestic chart performance is also growing although LMLT was still their highest peak. So yeah.. they are successfully carving a niche of their own and is still growing. Even though their groups underperform in domestic charts, JYP still the most profitable big 3 company and is only second to HYBE. I remember an article shared about how JYP is already happy being only second to HYBE and international kpop fans in the comments were mocking him for being delusional that his company is second. Unfortunately, many kpop fans think that high chart performance means higher profit or sales.
kpop albums aren't signs of succes. Fans bulk buy for photocards and such. They are falling down. They didn't even get a music show win for Gold, something that never happened to one of their TT.
Music show win…. Also not sign of success, there has so much payola going on , so many times we saw there was groups who deserved it and was massively popular didn’t get any wins so if we take your perspective nothing is sign of success because views , can be bought, wins can be bought, ambassadorship can be bought, so…..
@@XiwanglooSo you are saying legends like BTS EXO and TWICE won their 100+ music show wins because of payola?? Everything can be bought but you can't buy the legacy. Even a group like babymonster has only 1 music show win meanwhile YG can buy all these wins if he wanted.
🟡🟡When ITZY was making comebacks with their same self-confidence,powerful and energetic concept, everyone said that they were so boring and ask them to change the concept,Music style and to try new concepts. Then when they cameback with a different concept and music style people stared to hating them for their new concept and changing their old concept and the hate is still going on ......................... But why ?
