Facts. I loved my hair relaxed, but for me, it was destroying my hair so I went natural and my hair is thriving. I absolutely hate having to deal with it but I do love my natural hair and for the sake of its health, I haven't gotten a relaxer in 9 years.
I agree ☝️ because when I was relaxed my hair stayed long and beautiful even when I would cut it it would grow back super long super fast. The main things that made me transition to natural is the fact that there’s a claim that relaxers create fibroids and other health concerns, I wanted to see if my hair could be more thicker and with the simple fact that natural hair is just so freakin GORGEOUS 😍😍
You are super stunning. The dimple is everything. I'm a former professional hairstylist, I think it is wise that you go to a true professional and allow them to cut your hair. Your hair looks like it could stand having about 1 inch taken off of the ends. You'll be surprised at how easily you'll be able to comb thru it. Just remember to condition your hair like crazy. Moisture is the hair's best friend. Good Luck with your new transition!! I have all the faith in you! Have a very blessed day!
I love cowashing and spraying it with leave in between washes. I’ve finally found what works for my relaxed hair. I’ve incorporated a lot of what I’ve learned as a natural and guess what? My hair grows crazy. I’ve cut my hair at least 4x in the last 3 yrs. Not trims but anywhere from 4-6 inches of hair each time and I’m already pass shoulder length.
I remember doing this for me and my daughter. Her hair was always beautiful and long. She has gone natural and me too. But I am so tired of endless braids wigs and fake hair. My hair is not growing any faster. It still gets dry and it doesn't do well with gels. Just tired of all the hassle and still unable to wear my natural out
Wow your hair is so pretty ✨ I just relaxed after 7 years & I'm so happy..no more detangling. I realized all the tips I learned while natural (LOC method, protein treatments etc) I can apply that to my relaxed & it's really healthy.
Thank you❤️! Yes it’s just so much more manageable & yea I agree, you can apply a lot of the treatments that you used on your natural hair on your relaxed hair.
I was thinking the same.. I think if i was to go relax again i would know how to better take care of my hair thanks to learning how to keep the integrity of my hair.
After 7 yrs of being natural, I relaxed my hair Oct 2019. I believe with the knowledge that we have now will support us who have went back to the creamy crack with having healthy relaxed hair. Welcome back! Can't wait to see more uploads!
Yes! alot of women were not taking proper care while relaxed, which is why their hair was breaking off. But now there are so many resources on YT and IG to teach us how to properly care for our hair whether relaxed or natural
This coming , June 8th will make 7 yrs. I have thought of relaxing and doing a rinse on this day. Since it’s the week before my bday. And I have been questioning if I should relax or stay natural. Sometimes I wished I never went natural. Before cutting I had my hair in a nice routine , health and length was great. And I completely understand what she said simple styles like ponytails and detangling it requires soooooo much work. Y’all really have me thinking hard on this
I relaxed a few months ago and I love my hair. Most people say it doesn't look relaxed because it looks so healthy! so yes, you can have long healthy relaxed hair. I actually posted a video on how i relax my own hair at home.
If you're following hairlicious hair regimen , you'll be MBL in no time. She is the truth, when it comes to relaxed hair. I highly recommend her videos.
@@AllAboutAshh Briana Rashay also cares for her relaxed hair very well as well as April Sunny, Seun, and Style Domination. All have healthy relaxed hair. Check them out 👌😉
There's nothing wrong with relaxers as long as you go to a professional who does it right and you take care of your hair. I haven't had a relaxer touch my hair since 2008, so I can relate to the struggles of natural hair. In my case I did a big chop 😁 I was and still am tempted to relax my hair again. There are a couple of things that I will say about this video: 1. You should never use regular scissors for cutting your hair. Go to the beauty supply store and get shears. They are specially designed for cutting your hair. 2. When doing a relaxer, do the roots last. Your roots are closer to your scalp and are more warm then the ends leading to over processing. That should be the last area you do. Also becareful of putting relaxer on ends that have already been relaxed. You run the risk of over processing which leads to breakage. If you feel like you absolutely have to, I'd suggest using a mild relaxer for only a few minutes...less then 10. Provided you are doing your hair at home. Even so, it's only a suggestion, I don't recommend it. If anything at all look for a reputable stylist with a good track record of doing relaxers the right way. Use Oleplex to rebuild the bonds that were broken when you straighten your hair. Like I said, relaxers aren't bad, it's the technique and after care that causes the problems you hear about. I'm a cosmotogist, so this isn't coming from lack of experience. Other then that, your hair looks beautiful. 😁
I relaxed mine two years ago after being natural for 3 years but now I’m going back natural. I missed my natural hair 😭. Natural and relaxed looks great on you! 💕
Yea honestly that happens lol I was relaxed then went natural (for about 2 seconds) and then came right back to relaxed 😂 but like I’ve said it’s just hair so we have to do what we like and what works best for us! & Thank you! ❤️
That’s why I like beautiful textures. Their texture manageability system gives me the relaxed hair without permanent straightening. When I want my curls back I just wash it out with a clarifying shampoo. I do it once a year and keep my hair in mini twists for the rest of the year so *no detangling*.
Your hair came out sooo cutee 😍😍🤍 you’ll be good as long as you’re moisturizing your relaxed hair and doing protein treatments! Oh and avoiding too much heat!
Thank you❤️! I’m going to try to moisturize and seal daily or every other day when my hair isn’t actually styled & I’m going to try to only do heat once a month lol we will see how that goes
My hair has been relaxed for years. healthy and long. But I’ve learned that those blow dryers and flat irons dry my hair, make it brittle. So I’ve learned to stick to roller sets with large rollers and let it air dry at home or sit under a hood dryer. Then put it in a doobie at night. 😊
@@s.houston3498 Yes roller setting is old school but still works well. In my country we still use rollers. Some saloons do not even have hair straighteners.
THIS DAMN QUARANTINE DONE FORCED ME TO BECOME A NATURAL WITH A BIT OF PERM HANGING BY A THREAD, SO I CAN'T WAIT TO SIT DOWN IN MY STYLIST CHAIR AND RELAX.....AAAHHH!
Right.. i stretched for a year because of quarantine. I was suppose to have it done in april. Its a lot of 4b/4c fro at the moment. Im finally getting mine in a week. Im Nervous lol.
Looks great ... my hair is also relaxed. And within a short while I started my hair journey it grew from shoulder length to below bra strap length. Just keep up with your conditioning, protein treatment and hot oil.
Welcome to the club. I just did the same after 9 years. I also unfollowed the natural hair channels just to be able to focus on healthy relaxed hair content. Cant wait to see your new journey and your hair looks fantastic. ❤
Me personally i think its better to have natural hair because if u dont look after relaxed hair properly it will start to get thin and break off and u will be forced to go back natural
That can happen, but whether you are relaxed or natural you still have to take care of your hair. For me, I think being relaxed will help me take better care of my hair because it’s more manageable
Don't know why this was in my recommendations, but I'm not mad, lol. I am natural, and love being natural. But as you can see from my profile, I am color-treated, and that is a bit shunned in the "natural hair community" and we are no longer seen as truly natural, blah blah blah. Anyway, its fun being color-treated and hair is meant to be fun. Its your crown, your hair, so do with it as you please. If later down the years you chose to be natural again, then that's your choice. No one else can make it for you.It is crazy how people really be sitting here pressed trying to tell other people what to do with their hair. All the girls that told me not to color my hair because it will get damaged and ruin my curl pattern, I know they mad. They see me all the time at work, and they still see how healthy and shiny my hair is, and I know they are questioning what went wrong for them when they colored their natural hair, and why it isn't turning out the same way for me. How you care for your hair, matters. What works for you, matters. So do you boo, lol. This was weirdly so relaxing to watch until you pulled out the scissors, and I had to pause, cause I was like "Please don't let her become scissor happy to her own self." Lol.
I relaxed in Feb of this year after 10 years natural. I don’t regret my decision at all; I honestly wish I’d done it sooner. I’ll definitely be subscribing for updates on your new journey.
It looks beautiful. It looks healthy and long. Just do your conditioners, take care of it and your hair will be fine. Natural, or relaxed it doesn't matter. What matters is you taking good care of your hair, enjoy the journey and have fun.
I’ve relaxed my natural hair twice and this video is so tempting! I always end up going back because I miss how full my hair looks and feels textured BUT the maintenance of natural hair.. whew 🥴
Maybe you should look into texlaxing! Still allows you to have texture, your curls just loosen up a little bit! & lmao girl I know, it was just too much for me, that’s why I’m relaxed now 😂
No kidding about the maintenance😫I’ve relaxed twice as well but I’ve been natural for almost 5 years. I think I’ll stick with it because if I relax again I’ll probably go natural again. Right now I’m focused on achieving long hair
I just big chopped again at the start of quarantine because of this 😖 I was alternating between keratin treatments & relaxers + my hair was the longest it had ever been but it just got too thin for my taste
I had to pause this video to comment on your skin like WOW please upload a skincare routine and you are sooo pretty with cute dimples. but girl.... I keep watching videos like this and this is the motivation I needed! I'm texlaxing tmr
I’ve been natural this time around for three years, and I’m looking forward to relaxing it this month. For me, natural hair is more difficult to upkeep. Your hair looks great👍🏾
I've found myself falling down the rabbit hole of "natural hair" UA-cam gorgeous. I can't get out. I don't think I want to. 😄 Second to getting my hair done, it's weirdly satisfying watching someone else getting their hair done. Especially washed, brushed or straightened.
It's actually therapeutic seeing you just comb through your hair post conditioner *Le sigh* it's just so simple and seamless Big congrats for doing you, you hair looks gorgeous!!!
I love how it's still thick and looks strong. I'm so leary of going back to perm because I'm so addicted to my hair having body. I can't stand the look of stringy, thin, limp relaxed hair.
Your hair turned out beautiful! I know you feel some parts were under processed, but I love how the under process strands gives your hair volume! And yes, natural hair is a lot of work and time. It takes me over 5 hours to do my natural hair. I'm seriously thinking about relaxing it.
This was so sweet to watch it likes takes you back to when your mom might give you relaxer when your a kid to now a whole adult! Gurls will always be mamas babies
I was relaxed from age 8 to 44. Had long beautiful thick relaxed hair. But I can tell you I did not flat iron often at all. I would put jumbo hard rollers and sit under dryer until dry. Then wrap with scarf to flatten. Sometimes I would flat iron roots on med heat. But no more heat until wash day. Hair was all down my back. Now been relaxed for 6 years and I love it!! But I am happy you chose to do what is BEST FOR YOU! Everyone should.......
A tip, when I trim my hair, I trim it section by section just like I do when I flat iron my hair. I’m not considering getting a relaxer but being stuck in the house with a 6 week old and not really being able to do my hair has me going crazy cause it’s a hot mess, I need these hair stores to open so I can get braids 😩😩. Also your hair came out nice, and if relaxing your hair is what works for you, that’s all that matters. Right now I’m trying to limit heat to get my hair to grow but my hair isn’t doing well so the only way for me to accomplish that is to start getting braids more frequent.
Oh okay that’s a good tip! I think when I feel comfortable going to the salon I’m just going to let a professional trim my ends 😂 & honestly when I was natural braids and sew ins made my hair grow sooo much, so I would definitely recommend braiding hour hair up
You’re beautiful with or without makeup and your hair is looking healthy! I think it’s your hair and you can do what you want with it, when you want, others opinions don’t even matter.
Thank you!!! I'm getting a relaxer now. I've been natural for 8 years. I'm tried of looking like Florida Evans. It's tooooooooooo much and I can't do it NO MORE!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Thank you.. Blessings...
All About Ash yep! But that only applies to virgin relaxers not touch ups. It eliminates under-processed areas. Overall your hair came out beautiful anyway! Shout out to Hairlicious! :)
Your forehead is fine, you're just self conscious about yourself or probably the angle of the camera. Loved how your relaxed hair came out,a lot of body and health in that hair! Loving it!!!
A lot of naturals are relaxing now including myself! I do miss the thickness and fullness of my natural hair thou! The more I relax the thinner its getting!
i appreciate your video quality so much. And I am also about to relax, natural hair is just not for me. Thank you for uploading this I feel better about my decision.
Thanks for the kind words❤️ Yea honestly you just have to do what’s best for you! No matter if you are natural or relaxed you still have to take care of your hair. Hope you like the results!
I’m over it too. I’ve been natural for 10 years. I just turned 30 & my hair is still not what I wanted. Long, thick & healthy. I will not spend my 30s stressing over my hair
Love the hair. My sister used to relax her hair and it was down her back. Relaxed hair can flourish if you take care of it, just like natural hair. Just make sure you stretch your relaxers. Great video!!
Hair is a personal preference. Whatever works for you. Like you said, now that you know how to take care of your hair, you will do just that. I think when we MOST of us were relaxed, years ago, we just didn't know how to take care of our hair. We grew up thinking relaxed was the only way. We know better now. Because you've had both, do you. You look absolutely beautiful either way, and thats really all that matter :)
Your hair is gorgeous! Your mom did a great job applying your relaxer & the little bit of texture is a perfect result IMO. Your hair looks full, healthy & shiny 👍🏾
I haven't relaxed my hair in over 2 years. I've been doing faux locs and wigs and just started going completely natural as of 3 months ago. I don't even know how to properly style my hair and it just looks like a hot mess after it dries. No matter what I do to it...with that being said, I'm over it and going to try relaxing again 😏
I just relaxed my hair as well after almost 6 years. I'm way less stressed out now. Much easier to deal with but I take care of it like I'm natural. Looking forward to more videos!
@@trinitysanders5622 unless you’re keeping it maintained by a professional, you’re gonna regret it after awhile. My hair is damaged and I watched UA-cam videos on this for years before going through with it lol
I'm literally bingeing these relaxed hair videos rn. Tell me why mine burned after 3 minutes😭😂😂😂washed that ish straight out and now I'm scarred but yet I still appreciate other people relaxing their hair. Living vicariously through ya girl!
I relaxed my hair last year after 4 years natural...I was really ready to do it because I really missed the flow of relaxed hair! My natural hair was beautiful! It was very dense and curly with a lot of natural shine to it but I had a ton of shrinkage! Now my hair is still healthy and longer than it has ever been. I don't regret going back to the creamy crack!
Beautifully African 1. I have 3 different hair textures. At times it gets frustrating dealing with all three. 2. I feel that I’m doing more damage to my hair in its natural state. 3. I have waist length hair and it takes a lot to maintain it.
I went almost 7 months without a relaxer cuz of pandemic. Longest ive ever gone! Was thinkin hard bout goin natural & 1 day wz close 2 doin a big chop, however, my hair looked natural, wz so hard 2 comb evn tho i moisturized it DAILY, & shed quite a bit! I wz very annoyed, miserable, unhappy & ddnt wanna lose anymor hair, so i got it relaxed Sept. 5th! I feel GREAT, & lovin my silky, shiny, managable hair again!! 💃
I was natural for two years then I decided to start getting Brazilian blowouts! It’s all about what’s best for you, and as long as you care for your hair properly it will continue to flourish. Good luck on your relaxed hair journey! Can’t wait to see more videos :)
That is the relaxer I use. When you do your touch up please use French Perm Stabilizer Plus. It's an after relaxer conditioner with a penetrating foaming action. It helps with pH. God bless. Good luck. You are beautiful. 😉
Your hair came out so cute! It’s noting wrong with perks as long as you know how to take care of your hair properly. We have so much more knowledge about our hair now which is amazing! And honestly having type 4 hair can be beautiful and a struggle all at once 😂
Your hair is so beautiful. Just keep your hair moisturized, dust, and trimmed. Im due for a relaxer, and cant wait. Continue to do what's best for you.
I’m thinking about texlaxing again. I had one about 3 years ago and my hair took off and grew so well. But then I wanted something new and cut it all off and wore it short. My natural hair grew out beautifully the first 8 ish months and made it to shoulder/collar bone length but then my hair started getting brittle, breaking off, shedding really bad, horrible single strand knots and not taking heat at all. Think I might have to go back for my 1st year of college and switch it up again
i’m ready to relax my hair. i LOVE my curls.. but the maintenance just is not for me. at least not right now. i used to have my hair relaxed from elementary through mid school.. stopped around sophomore year but i was still straightening it.. and i noticed it took a looot more. so i think it’s time again 😗 plus.. my hair was growing a lot more when i relaxed it
Lmao girl I was thinking about doing this way before quarantine 😂 but yea I know a lot of people are thinking about things to do to their hair right now
@@AllAboutAshh haha me too! I started thinking about it before quarantine but not being able to go to the braiding salon pushed me to my limits. haha. Your hair came out great!!
“Creamy crack” lol!! I died. Girl, dont look back and do you. Be happy and dont let anyone put you down for your choices, as if you were somehow poisoning yourself *eye roll* you are not. It bothers me so much like the “natural” gals look down on us “relaxed” gals lol!! In this time and age, we should be past this. Im mixed with 3C/4A hair, I have relaxed my hair all my life. Ive had periods where my hair was weak and brittle, but that was more due to poor care than anything else (as well as due to the wrong type of relaxer product and products in general for my hair, e.g. getting highlights, everytime I have done this, logically, my hair has suffered, but even then NEVER fell off). A few years ago I finally found the perfect combination of products and steps that works for MY hair, which is now again at mid back length like it was in my early 20s (i am now 30). 1. Ensuring your hair is in optimal condition pre relaxer is crucial: in addition to deep moisturizing every time I wash my hair (once a week), i also do a protein treatment 1 week before relaxing (the wash day before). I use the Aphogee 2 step protein treatment. Girls, this is IT. This has made my hair something else entirely. If you dont follow any other advice, then follow this. 2. I relax every 8 weeks, if you can or want to stretch longer congrats. Me personally, ive found this is the perfect timing for me before my hair starts breaking a bit because of all the texture combos. 2. I am extremely careful to retouch new growth ONLY (i have literally not reapplied relaxer to my ends since the first time I ever relaxed when I was a young teen) and my hair grows FAST. I also protect my ends with conditioner prior to relax as well as my scalp with the Affinity scalp protectant gel. 3. For relaxer, I use the Mizani relaxer sensitive scalp (i get it on Sleekshop, and my grandma does it for me lol, she has got excellent hands for all things haircare and one of the few people I trust with my locks). 4. Right after washing and PH balancing, I do an ACV water wash. Then I do a 30min Olaplex treatment. After that, I deep condition for 30-1hr. I rotate my shampoos and deep conditioners often, but right now I swear by the Shea Moisture Jamaican black castor oil line, it is veeery moisturizing and strengthening for me. 5. It is important to wash hair with lukewarm water ONLY, and even cold water for last rinse. 6. Apply any leave in conditioner that works for you. I have many and rotate them. If applying any heat, apply heat protectant. I swear by the $4.99 Tressemme heat protectant. 7. Usually I let my hair air dry the day and week after a relaxer, and then just do 1 or 2 braids for styling when hair is still damp. This will give me nice curls by next day. 8. I typically blow dry my hair, sectioned, with an air brush by Revlon, this makes my hair bone straight. Since I usually prefer waves, I do those with one of those hair wands at the lowest possible setting, usually 385-400 max. I rarely if ever use a flat iron. Again, heat protect with Tresemne spray before blow dry and heat protect with a heat protectant oil before hot tools. 9. For those of us who already need to color our grays (ah 30sss), do not be afraid of color with relaxed hair, just use common sense: Bleach is not your friend if you relax. Wait 2-3 weeks/washes minimum post relaxer to color your hair.
Girl, I'm happy for you. I've been natural for 4 years now and I've been ugly by the head ever since. My natural hair is beautiful but I dont have the time nor patience for it and I hate weave and wigs so I'm considering relaxing.
I think you look great. Hair care is a journey regardless!!! You did natural for 7 years ... now you changed course. 🤷🏽♀️. I’m seriously considering going back too... it’s been 6 yrs natural ...
I'm thinking of going back to relaxed hair! I was relaxed elementary-10th grade and then switched to protective styles until now (sew ins & braids) I didn't really know how to take good care of it back then but im glad we have youtube now xD I miss having my natural hair lol. Your hair looks good!
Yea my relaxed hair now is nothing like the relaxed hair I use to have the first time around, it’s much more healthy and thick this time, I’ve learned sooo much from UA-cam! & thank you! ❤️
I have always said do what works best for you and your hair because at the end of the day you are the person who has to take care of it. And I completely understand what she said simple styles like ponytails and detangling it requires soooooo much work. Y’all really have me thinking hard on this
Your dimple😍😍😍😍. Honestly people with dimples have a whole honoury degree in smiling
Thank you 💗
Africans have fake dimples
@@kittydollsxo189 did you snort crack?
Do all black women have that same brown wide tooth comb?!?! 😂😂😂 I love it!
Lmao I think we might 😂❤️
I definitely think so cause my hair be breaking any other comb😂😂😂
👍🏿,yup
Nope, mines is red lol
Yes I got a comb like that somewhere
I relaxed a few months ago and I love my hair. Most people say it doesn't look relaxed because it looks so healthy! so yes, you can have long healthy relaxed hair. I actually posted a video on how i relax my own hair at home.
you weren't lying, it's so cute! I'm a natural but you have a new sub lol
Moms are such a blessing !
Hairlicious is the truth. I've incorporated a lot of her methods over the years. Your hair came out great.
Thank you! ❤️
ur dimple is so cute! I came here because ive been back and forth about it! Your beautiful both ways
Thank you!❤️ & I was going back and forth about it too but I finally said imma do it and I’m so happy I did, lol no regrets at all!
follow your heart love!
Its just hair guys. If she wants to go natural again in the future she can. Hair grows back.
Especially on mah legs
@@kenadielise7780 lol XD
If you're following hairlicious hair regimen , you'll be MBL in no time. She is the truth, when it comes to relaxed hair. I highly recommend her videos.
I hope so! I really like her videos too, excited to be on this hair journey!
@@AllAboutAshh Briana Rashay also cares for her relaxed hair very well as well as April Sunny, Seun, and Style Domination. All have healthy relaxed hair. Check them out 👌😉
True I fellow her. Her hair long and look healthy.
Her “I’m tired of looking like this” is my hair goals 🤣
😂😂
Me too, I've been stuck at twa length since 2013 😭😭
Lol. Girl your forehead is just fine...it doesn’t look huge at all. It’s very proportionate to your face. Love how your hair turned out.
Lol thank you 😂❤️
There's nothing wrong with relaxers as long as you go to a professional who does it right and you take care of your hair.
@@barexammentor I will try this system out. Thank you.
Her skin is so gorgeous 😍
Thank you 💗
Your hair came out sooo cutee 😍😍🤍 you’ll be good as long as you’re moisturizing your relaxed hair and doing protein treatments!
I definitely want to try a roller set! If I do I’ll film it!
The heat is the devil, the flat irons
@@s.houston3498 Yes roller setting is old school but still works well. In my country we still use rollers. Some saloons do not even have hair straighteners.
Whew Chile this lady is so pretty and that hair is majestic🌹😭😍
Aww thank you! ❤️
agreed!
THIS DAMN QUARANTINE DONE FORCED ME TO BECOME A NATURAL WITH A BIT OF PERM HANGING BY A THREAD, SO I CAN'T WAIT TO SIT DOWN IN MY STYLIST CHAIR AND RELAX.....AAAHHH!
Natural with a bit of perm 😂
Lol this was too funny 🤣
Hahaha! 😂 i totally get you...i ended up braiding mine last next week as we await for salons to reopen. The hair growth is just too much..😁
🤣
Right.. i stretched for a year because of quarantine. I was suppose to have it done in april. Its a lot of 4b/4c fro at the moment. Im finally getting mine in a week. Im Nervous lol.
You have a good mom.
I agree ❤️
Everyone already said it, but I’mma say it too, girl you are gorgeous 😍, hair, skin, dimples everything, teeth lol

So very true!😊
Hairlicious , Healthyhairjunkie , & Ulovemegz are the ones I follow constantly !
I watch them too! Love their content!
Looks great ... my hair is also relaxed. And within a short while I started my hair journey it grew from shoulder length to below bra strap length. Just keep up with your conditioning, protein treatment and hot oil.
Thank you! One thing I do need to do is a bit more research on protein treatments and how to incorporate them into my hair care
Welcome to the club. I just did the same after 9 years. I also unfollowed the natural hair channels just to be able to focus on healthy relaxed hair content. Cant wait to see your new journey and your hair looks fantastic. ❤
Also wanted to recommend the ponytail rollerset...see peggypeg_
Trisha Wow 9 years! I’ll check out the ponytail roller set, Thanks ❤️
I just relaxed mine last week and mehn, I'm so loving it👌😍
Yesss, I love the relaxed life lol ☺️
@Danniell C I used the ORS relaxer
Yess I agree! It’s just hair, do what you want with it, cut it, relax it, dye it, whatever lol. & yea I’m happy I put the scissors down too 😂
I relaxed in Feb of this year after 10 years natural. I don’t regret my decision at all; I honestly wish I’d done it sooner. I’ll definitely be subscribing for updates on your new journey.
Thanks for the support! ❤️
I love how your mom was so supportive and helpful. Taking care of her baby girl.
It looks beautiful. It looks healthy and long. Just do your conditioners, take care of it and your hair will be fine. Natural, or relaxed it doesn't matter. What matters is you taking good care of your hair, enjoy the journey and have fun.
Thank you ❤️
I’ve relaxed my natural hair twice and this video is so tempting!
I was holding my breath when you did the first cut. Your hair actually didn’t look like it needed a trim at all 😊
I had to pause this video to comment on your skin like WOW please upload a skincare routine and you are sooo pretty with cute dimples. but girl.... I keep watching videos like this and this is the motivation I needed! I'm texlaxing tmr
I have one on my blog! (allboutashblog.com) but thank you❤️! & good luck with texlaxing!😊
Gorgeous head of hair regardless
Thank you ❤️
I can’t manage my natural hair at all. I have no energy to even comb it 😩😩 definitely considering a relaxer bc I just can’t. You look amazing ❤️
It's actually therapeutic seeing you just comb through your hair post conditioner
*Le sigh* it's just so simple and seamless
Big congrats for doing you, you hair looks gorgeous!!!
Thank you ❤️
I love how it's still thick and looks strong.

Her dimples are Absolutely stunning ❤️
Thank youu❤️
I just love finding new pretty black girls to subscribe to 🥰 you look stunning with both natural and relaxed hair!
Thank you ❤️
So so pretty, your complexion is life! beautiful hair before and after
Thank you!❤️
I was relaxed from age 8 to 44.
I think when I feel comfortable going to the salon I’m just going to let a professional trim my ends 😂 & honestly when I was natural braids and sew ins made my hair grow sooo much, so I would definitely recommend braiding hour hair up
Finally something for relaxed hair. It's a choice to go either natural or relaxed
Omg, your dimples and eyes; you’re absolutely gorgeous 😩
Aww thank you ❤️
You’re beautiful with or without makeup and your hair is looking healthy!
Hahahahaha
This girl is insanely gorgeous omg, I couldn’t get pass her natural beauty 😍
Aww thank you so much! ☺️💕
I was wondering why you didn’t start applying the relaxer mid-shaft? The roots process quicker because it’s closer to the scalp.
I honestly didn’t know that! This is just how I’ve always applied my relaxers and it seems to work for me, maybe I’ll try that next time!
All About Ash yep! But that only applies to virgin relaxers not touch ups. It eliminates under-processed areas. Overall your hair came out beautiful anyway! Shout out to Hairlicious! :)
Scalp to ends damage your hair
Your forehead is fine, you're just self conscious about yourself or probably the angle of the camera. Loved how your relaxed hair came out,a lot of body and health in that hair! Loving it!!!
Thank you! ❤️
A lot of naturals are relaxing now including myself! I do miss the thickness and fullness of my natural hair thou! The more I relax the thinner its getting!
haha yes that’s me right now however I’m transitioning because it’s become way too thin
Yeah. I texturized and still noticed thinning after a while. Think I’m going to transition back to natural.
@@Baddgallindsay Me too! My relaxed hair breaks off with box braids! I love and miss my box braids and twist!

i appreciate your video quality so much.
Your skin is soo beautiful!!!

@@AllAboutAshh Ah hopefully it does! You're welcome btw💕💯
Love the hair. My sister used to relax her hair and it was down her back. Relaxed hair can flourish if you take care of it, just like natural hair. Just make sure you stretch your relaxers. Great video!!
Thank you💕
Hair is a personal preference.
I agree when I was first relaxed I really didn’t know how to properly take care of it & thank you 💗

I’m relaxing my hair in a couple of weeks and I can’t wait. I’m over being natural and I miss my straight hair.

I’ve been natural for 11 years. I never had any damage when my hair was relaxed. I will be going back to relaxed hair in a couple of weeks.
Welcome back!❤️
Just out of curiosity, why will you be going back?
Beautifully African 1. I have 3 different hair textures. At times it gets frustrating dealing with all three. 2. I feel that I’m doing more damage to my hair in its natural state. 3. I have waist length hair and it takes a lot to maintain it.
@@rcooper1033 Understandable. I hope the new journey goes well for you.

Lol yea she did a really good job & thank you! ❤️

😂
@RiceAnd Chicken um ok
Honestly i am just here to chill and watch people do their hair. I find it soooo relaxing
You are gorgeous sis! I don't plan to go relaxed but I support you! Stay blessed!

Girl, I'm happy for you. I've been natural for 4 years now and I've been ugly by the head ever since. My natural hair is beautiful but I dont have the time nor patience for it and I hate weave and wigs so I'm considering relaxing.
Not ugly by the head lol💀 but I definitely get not having time for natural hair. Good luck if you decide to relax!
Ugly by the head?? 🤣😂

So beautiful 😍 hair dimples and skin complexion girl you are killing it !

I have always said do what works best for you and your hair because at the end of the day you are the person who has to take care of it. I have never been the one to agree with those who say “I’m only supporting natural hair women” or any ignorance like that in our community! Whether it’s braided, relaxed, wigged, fro’d (is that a word? 🤷🏾♀️😂) whatever...embrace and kill it like you did!! I’m actually natural but I loved this video! New subbie!!!! ❤️💕👏🏾👏🏾
Exactly! I totally agree! & lmao fro’d 😂. Thank you so much for the support! 😊❤️
It looks really good!!! I think it was a good idea to put the scissors down, lol. Btw you're beautiful and your forehead isn't big at all.
Yea I’m glad I put the scissors down too😂 & thank you! ❤️
Virgin relaxer begins at the hair shaft. Then the scalp and finally the ends. Texture will be straightened when following proper procedure. I’m natural now but started having my hair professionally relaxed to avoid this type of inconsistency at home.
I’M LOVING YOUR HAIR😃😃😃
I want to get a relaxer but it's just so permanent 😭 I wish they could make a temporary relaxer that even lasts through washes
