This is a short video of me going to get my hair relaxed after 13 plus years of being natural. I want to say I’ve been saying I want a relaxer for years because I felt my hair was healthier when I did get relaxers. My advice is to really think on it because once those curls are gone they’re gone lol. But I love the decision I made. I’ll be giving an update on my hair growth journey so I hope y’all stay tuned for more.💕

I always say do what’s best for you…
I don’t feel you embraced your natural hair of you never wore it that way though.. always wearing wigs, sew ins or braids is the opposite..
But why not relax if you aren’t gonna wear your natural hair.. it absolutely makes sense!
Either way we have to take care of our hair.. proper trims, conditioning & a clean scalp will help retain length either relaxed or natural bc our hair is always “growing”.. how you take care of it will determine if we retain the length!
