Upgrading PS5 Bluetooth | PS5 Disassembly | Playstation Mod

- I needed to upgrade the bluetooth in my household's PS5 because we have it hooked up to multiple rooms in the house and the controller does not reach into one of the bedrooms. Here I am disassembling the PS5 and disconnecting the bluetooth that is already connected to it and hooking it up to the two antennas you see in the video.

I ended up buying and doing this mod. The only difference is that I couldn't predrill the holes in the same area. The heat sink was much bigger and was almost flush to the outside black cover. So I 3D printed an L backed with 2 holes and double sided taped it to the top of the ps5. The wires do come out of the ps5, but it's in the closet, so who cares.

I just completed my upgrade after watching your video. It works flawlessly, almost. I get interference in my controllers due to the bluetooth headphone dongle. The fix for that. A USB extension cable that allows the dongle to be moved away from the antennas.

Nice work and with clean ps5, what where you results?
The controller works well now at double the distance. We have the ps5 hooked up on a hdmi splitter going to two different rooms in the house and the controller worked fine in one room but the other room is the farthest room from the ps5 so now the controller isn’t lagging when we play in that far room.

Yes but i prefer to plug my devices directly to modem

@@lipeamos06 yes I’m able to play from my room and the PlayStation is located in a closet in the living room which is about 30 ft away
