This jailbreak absolutely blew my mind, the way u outsmarted sony by using the web browser from user guide is ingenious. I do modding but at a very low level compared to this, but seeing at what level u are , i am motivated more than ever to mod like this.

Money. But also some games are built from the ground up at a certain framerate so only some things will be 60fps while others will still be locked at 30fps which can be a bit nauseating. So they would actually have to rebuild the game sometimes from the ground up for a smooth 60fps+ framerate
@@llJeezusllBloodborne is the perfect example of this. Some animations are stuck at 30 fps and look strangely.

Damn, I got a very early disc model PS5. I wish I had updates turned off because I didn't even consider this was going to be an option. Hopefully down the road I'll be able to dive into all these amazing options

My PS5 is jailbroken but the 1 thing I noticed is that PS5 games are huge so upgrading the storage or buying an 8TB external hdd is a must. Right now I don't see the need to do so since majority of the games can be played on my jailbroken PS4. Oh an um try to avoid leaving discs in the PS5- for some odd reason my laser died and I had to replace it after 2 years of barely using it.

correction you dont need the newest firmware to play online,
mandatory firmware is what you need to install to play online,
im still rocking the december or jan update, was yet to be forced to update to play online, but i do always recommend updating to the latest for obvious reasons.

Nice, I jumped in a private VC will Jeff just before I went Spain and it was the first time I have spoken to him rather than text and he is a really cool guy and knows his stuff.
Just wish I had a ps5 on old firmware and my ps4 slim is on version 10 firmware so that will be the next one I mod when a jailbreak is out for it and from what I heard it will not be long.
@@ARG Yeah no I've been looking into getting a PS5 or PS4 for the games if I have enough money at one point I'll definitely look into getting a moddable one. Or maybe just wait until there's a more broad spectrum of PS5/PS4 firmware versions that are moddable because it definitely sounds like a fun console to mod

I have a jailbroken ps5 (4.50) snd it's not that fun by now. Many games i want to install are not really playable. Many bugs on a few one too, sound cracking and so on. The ps4 games run really well but i can also use my ps4 pro for that... Jailbroken it about 4 months ago but i will wait until it's really really jailbroken. PS.: modded warfare has a pkg installed that can immediately jailbreak the system without even use the browser. Look it up Jeff. That would be a good addition to your video.

When geforce now started, there was a small support link when you tried to play EA games. After that you misstyped the pw multiple times, it let you access the browser. And that was the heaven door. Imagine the 30Gbit up and 25Gbit down internet speed. At that time every VM used the same network card so i just took over the nvidia internet capacity with multiple speedtest runs. 😅
I put the video on speakers while playing my switch and it took me a second to actually realize what the sponsor was, i'm so glad no one in my house noticed 💀

Xbox has devmode so it’s not needed to be honest.
Xbox hypervisor is tied to the cloud so there is no chance it’ll happen.
Ps5 was a bit different as the ps2 sandbox opened the console for home brew and then the sun swap hack that we did that broke the console also known as the blue ray drive hack.

played red dead 2 on a pc on 20-30fps on low/verylow and it just felt amazing. switched to a better pc played on 60 on high settings it fealt ducking great, but idk, the slowliness was something else. maybe im crazy?

I had mine hooked up to my downstairs TV for years, never used it. Found out its running 2.50 firmware still just the other day when I booted it up. Disabled auto update and debating if I still want to venture forward, or maybe list it on eBay. Didn't even bother looking until I saw this video.. Maybe I will jailbreak it after all. :)
