A fine job, but the cpu cooler should be screwed in x orientation to get equal pressure, might wana check that.
Choosing components; Would suggest to take mobo and gpu from the same manufacturer if possible, cause them driver softwares, might get issues with rgb and other features.

Finally found someone with an amd gpu 😂 I recently built mine and I wish I would’ve waited since gpu prices have gone down and are easier to get now because I could’ve gotten a 3070ti or something 😭 for now I’m stuck with the rx 6600

Same 😭 but I love it. Now I’m learning I should’ve gotten 2+ TB of memory and I should’ve waited to get gpu but I was just set on doing it right away after learning how to build lol good thing we can always upgrade parts

Comment 1 : way to much thermal paste :) The paste spreads when the 2 surfaces make contact, you'll probably have loads of paste now on the sides of the cooler/chip which can actually store the heat. The idea of the paste is to fill the tiny microscopic scratches on chip/cooler, so no air is present, making the seal.
Comment 2 : 7:37 To make it quicker on your next build, some do that before screwing the motherboard down, as it's fiddly as heck with little space
Comment 3 : If that is your 1st build, well done, it's always nice building your own, and hopefully everything was smooth sailing 👍

@@iamkathynguyen Your welcome, a little rice grain dead center is all you need, then screw the cooler on, making sure to screw in small amounts on the 4 corners bit by bit, rather than screw 1 down all the way, making it slant. Sorry for the poor explanation, just screw the 4 corners bit by bit alternating from screw to screw.

I have a question how did you install the fan because I have the same apu and when I tried to install the fan I bent the pins but I sent it back and I’m ordering it again so what did you do to make it easier to install it because it was very frustrating when I was trying it just either was not screwing or I screwed it and left one unscrewed did you add a lot of force down on it when you tightened it or you just pressed lightly
Yes I was struggling with it too.. I edited that part out but I had to push down and screw it and I did it little by little and I went from one screw to the one diagonal to it then kept screwing them down like that. I hope that answers your question.
And it was weird because I kept hearing a clicking sound when I would screw it down and I think it’s normal because of the springs. And I don’t recall anything like that in previous videos so it worried me but everything turned out fine. Just make try to align it best you can and remember to screw it little by little, diagonally. I referred to Joey delogatos videos on UA-cam to help me if you want to see how he does it step by step

@@ikram2512 well the b550 can performe much better and she can get the r5 5600x which is better than it ant the igpu's of amd don't boost the gpu performance like intel and the b550 mobo have gen 4 slots

@@ikram2512 yeah the data tranfer speed and the less loading time,pcie gen 4,more fps in games the b450 mobo is for the budget build and there is more speed inn data sharing between the cpu and the gpu and the r5 5600x is better than 5700g

For 1500 I built an ITX build with a 5600x and sapphire 6600xt. On a 250$ itx board, and a 240aio. Might wanna recheck your financial advisor because your budget is whack

Im wondering why you bought a 5700g when a 5600x would be wayyy better. 5700g comes with integrated graphics, so i dont understand why you would need that.

@@iamkathynguyen you can always upgrade your CPU since you do have the GPU already. I'm hunting for parts now to do my first build and I was debating on going G so i can hold off on the GPU until prices come down. But I can't beat the prices of the 5600x prices right now. Just gonna wait until summer for the gpu

@@iamkathynguyen from what I gathered, that's the great thing about PC's you can always upgrade and customize throughout the lifespan. Which is one of the reasons why I'm leaving console gaming

Now I can probably do a build with 3070 for 1500 but at the time gpus were still overpriced and had just started going down in price like right after I posted the video 😭
