You seriously give the best advice! I've been watching your videos since I had my interview for hygiene school and now I'm finishing up term 2 in my program. It's been so overwhelming, but watching this helped so much! Thank you!!
I love your videos. You are so calming and wise with every piece of advice you give. I feel better just listening to you. you just have the knowledge that we all need to hear and you say it in a way that makes it feel okay for my type A self to accept what you know as fact and calm down. Being a type A person with anxiety and the feeling that I need to control everything and do it all is hard so having someone like you to relax that part of me is refreshing. Keep up the videos!

I’ve been following you since the beginning. Finally received my acceptance letter and went to orientation!! Classes start on Monday... and I’m soooo nervous. Thank you for making these videos they make the “what if” questions and my anxiety not so bad! But side question.
How would you recommend styling your hair for school, and did you wear your scrubs everyday?
Congrats on getting accepted! Everyone is gonna be nervous just like you, but you're all gonna do great! I'm so glad you find the videos helpful :)
So when we have only lecture and we aren't in the clinic we can wear our hair however we want. But when we're in the clinic and wearing scrubs we have to wear our hair "neatly off of the collar" which in most cases is a bun :)

im starting DH in 3 months, and during this pandemic junk i can't go overwork myself with activities and pre study is all i know!!! LOL. You spoke to me when you said "you dont need to study a bunch" lol but what else am i gonna do!!?!?!
Don't do anything except relax and spend time with your family and friends! I promise you will regret not doing that. Good luck this fall
I'm nervous about the HESI! It's been over a yr & I still haven't taken it. Do you have a vid on the topics that were on the exam? I want to know exactly what to study. For example, in A&P, what topics were on it? Thx🙂

I used 4days to study for the Hesi and I still passed! I know it's easier said than done but don't overthink it. Just gather the courage and go ace it cause after a whole year, I don't think you can be anymore prepared than you already are. Goodluck!

What's the difference between an AS degree in dental hygiene and an AAS degree in dental hygiene? Is there even one?

Did u work during school? Or did u feel you could have worked?
I definitely can't work with my program. But other programs may be different!
How old is the youngest person in your class? I feel like I am really young compared to all the current students in the program.
The youngest is 22 I think. The class under me has much younger girls, 18 and 19 I think
