Thank you for sharing your story! I have 150lbs to lose as well. I am 298 lbs right now. I have lost 10lbs so far from my start weight. Your story is motivating to me.
sorry to be so offtopic but does anybody know of a tool to log back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly lost the login password. I would love any tricks you can give me!
Omg I’m laughing my arse off about the hip bones. I was lying in bed one night and l thought, oh gosh what’s wrong with me? What is this?😂😂😂 um, it’s a skeleton, I never really believed I had one!
Congratulations! That's so awesome. You really have a gift for speaking. You are focused and get the information out in a way that is so much easily absorbed as opposed to others who say "um, like, yeah, sooo". Your thoughts flow very well. Keep up the use of your gift and keep inspiring others. You are doing such a great job!
I love love your story and especially your methods/solutions on how you did it! This inspires me so much more because you were a dental hygiene student and I feel like I can relate to you so much. Thank you for sharing 💕
I think I need to start taking accountability for my weight. I gave birth to my daughter early this year and I am the heaviest I have ever been. I am having problems with my knee and I have really bad plantar fasciitis and a weak ankle. I can't chase my toddler anymore, I can't find anything that fits in most stores (I don't live in the USA) a lot of weight goes to my bust and upper body and finding a bra that fits is near impossible where I live. I don't care about being really slim or having a perfect body, I just want to be healthy and physically comfortable and live a longer, more practical life.
I really really loved all of your info. No One ever talks about the stuff you brought up. It is really essential to know all of this as you provided the info. You should write a book and people would buy it. I would be one of them. I also like your upbeatness it is quite catchy. You go girl.
How did you manage to stay focused on losing weight in dental hygiene school? I’m in dental hygiene school and all I’ve done is gain weight. I have no time to workout or really prep food.
It’s 2021 now and I’m just running into your page and this video I just turned 28 this past July and I’m 220lbs n i can’t seem to go down I’ve been over weight ever since college and I’m now looking into this lifestyle change and looking to understand it better to achieve similar goals as you i am 80lbs over weight it’s def not 150 but none the less a lot of weight that seems impossible to loose
That is all really, very interesting 🧐 Listening to our bodies is so important and takes practice. I can’t wait for my AIP journey, I’m definitely journaling along the way. Congratulations, you’ve worked so hard to get to where you are. Thanks for being an inspiration and sharing your nuggets of wisdom.
Wow, you look amazing! I’ve lost 15 lbs., with 100 lbs. more to go. This video is so inspiring to me, new subbie here!! Btw, did your feet get smaller? Take care and God bless!
When people ask "how you do it?" No matter about weight loss, personal finance, whatever achievement. It's always such a waste of time to explain. You don't only look beautiful now, you look way much younger.
Great informational video! Thanks for sharing can you do a follow up video on if you continued carb cycling or not? And how well it went for you? I am doing keto in I'm down almost 50 pounds but I'm starting to hit a plateau and the scale isn't moving very much. I was thinking of starting carb cycling but it scares me. I have the same thought as you that although weight is going to randomly come back on. But I want to be successful! And I've made it this far! I would love to take your brain on the matter! And you open my eyes to possibly auto immune. I randomly developed food allergies I never knew that was a cause and I had badd gut health for a while I've But never heard of leaky gut now I have so much to research
Thank you! I didn't do carb cycling for long because I found out I am hypoglycemic. Carb cycling is great though! If you have any indication of an auto-immune (and that's VERY possible if you're developing food allergies) I would HIGHLY recommend dong the AIP diet or something like it to reduce your inflammation and heal your gut. There's a bunch of info out there on all of this, good luck!
Keep up the great work!! It’s crazy what the mind can make you think about yourself, I definitely battle with my self-image all the time. I was down to 130 from about 160 from the end of 2016 to the middle of 2017. But then I met my boyfriend and ended up gaining soooo much weight so I’m currently around 185 (the heaviest I’ve ever been)😭 it’s so hard to stay motivated because I think about how I’m up so much weight in little amount of time & feel SO defeated. But are the bumps on the back of your arms always a sign of gluten intolerance?? I have them and never understood why because it’s not like acne or anything but didn’t know how to make it go away
It really is hard to stay motivated! Best of luck to you in everything! I've just always heard that it's a sign of gluten intolerance and I always had them up until I cut out gluten!
This video is absolutly amazing! I have been struggling with my weight for sooo long, and have been gaining soo much weight during the last two years. I am at a point where I know the next step in my life is to loose that weight. This video is so incredibly inspiring. You are so amazing, and what an amazing job you have done. Just congratulation! (I know this is an old video, but that doesn't dimis the fact that you lost this much weight!!) You look amazing! I am definitely gonna watch this again, when i need some more inspiration!
I don’t know if I missed this part, but did you also exercise? It’s so hard to make time for that in hygiene school. I have to commute 3 hrs per day to get to school so that sucks up a lot of my time as well.
Dieting makes you fatter. You begin to feel deprivation from calorie and food restriction and each failure adds injures your self confidence. Work on intuitive eating eating quality micronutritive dense foods avoiding processed foods with simple carbohydrates. Harder to feel satisfied with simple carbohydrates... which is like eating Styrofoam. Include all types of 100% whole grains, variety of fruits with skins, all colors of vegetables especially leafy greens, and seeds. Keep to 3 meals spread out through the day. Bottom line each diet will make you fatter.
Incredible! How long did it take you total to lose the 150? I have PCOS, too. I’m looking into AIP diet, which seems like a good kick off to see what items cause you to feel like crap. Similar to whole30. Do you still eat AIP, or just a modified version?
I took about a year and 4 months- the last few pounds were the slowest. I still eat AIP, but I've reintroduced chocolate. Once I graduate this coming May I'll start reintroducing more foods- I just didn't wanna deal with adverse symptoms while in school. I got accidental gluten exposure a year ago and had migraines everyday for a week straight! Never had a migraine in my life before that, I couldn't even see. So I wanted to be done with school before possibly dealing with side effects
KaitlinDropsIt good job, girl! You’re an inspiration. I get frequent headaches, sensitive GI for many foods, tired easily, etc etc. hardest for me is having 2 young kids and hubby who will not comply to a big diet change. Sigh.

I'm so glad! You got this!
Its 10 now then 20, 30... then, before you know it, you reached your goal! Keep it up!!

Humor and humility. 💛 I want to add I feel you about the hip bones, I experienced that with back fat.

I've just always heard that it's a sign of gluten intolerance and I always had them up until I cut out gluten!
Hi, those bumps sound a lot like keratosis pilaris. My brother and sister have it on their arms and its totally harmless. It isn't related to gluten.
great video :) super detailed and different from other videos on this topic!!
